Bonajour Bio Active Night Cream - First Impressions Review • Skin type: combo, acne prone, and sensitive with fine lines. • Made with Rose of Jericho - aka the resurrection plant - which can remain dormant for years and spring back to life when in contact with moisture. This plant is thought to bring incredible hydration to skincare. • This sleep mask comes in a beautiful purple glass jar, and is light purple in color. The texture is thick, and it smells much like patchouli. The scent I unfortunately find to be very strong and it makes my eyes water after application. The Sleep Mask also makes my skin feel cool and tingly, which lasts roughly 30-45 minutes after application. During this time the mask also leaves a somewhat waxy texture on my skin, but seems to mostly absorb after an hour or so. I had the opportunity to try the Bio Active Night Cream at a great discount in exchange for my honest review. The item was nicely packaged, and came with a small plastic applicator. The product was a beautiful lavender color. I found the fragrance to be a bit overpowering, but the product itself was perfect for my dry winter skin. Very smooth and hydrating! Felt so nice the next morning.

I applied a nickel amount which event covered my face. The lavender scent is a bit over powering, which is honestly my only complaint. This is an ideal mask for deep hydration. I'm not sure about if it's perfect for oily skin, but I can see it being more beneficial for combo/dry. It soaks right in and you can see the results in the morning. My skin looked and felt hydrated. Another win for Bonajour. This is a pastel purple cream which reminded me of a prestige brand's calming cream. It has a very intense lavender scent that I am not a fan of. At first I thought I was going to hate the cream because of the scent but after using it for over two weeks, I really enjoy this. It's very creamy and it melts right into the skin. It does take a second to sink in but it leaves my skin extremely soft and hydrated. When waking up in the morning, I notice my skin is very dewy and bright. This has become a staple in my night time routine and it even kicked a few of my regular night creams out. Today I m reviewing Bonajour bioactive night cream. It claims to be make skin healthy, repair and moisturize it. Lets get to the review 🔸 Light cream consistency 🔸 Strong scent 🔸 Tub pacakging 🔸 Cream is of light purple color 🔸 Contains eggplant extract, The packaging has a lovely color and comes with a spatula. Its slightly heavy for my combo acne prone skin but didn't cause any acne. It is heavy scented of patchouli. Its an okay product.

The mask is suitable for any skin types but especially for normal to dry and mature. I love using sleeping masks to help hydrate overnight. I’ve enjoyed other bonajour products so I was excited to try another one. I enjoyed the scent of this and if you’re not big on scent, it does go away quickly. This isn’t sticky or greasy on my skin and I wake up with my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. Highly recommend for a sleeping mask!

I spent at least 30 minutes watching YouTube videos of people reviving this amazing plant. • 🌷 This cream comes in a heavy glass jar. I prefer skincare product in a tube but at least the manufacture provided a spatula for hygienic usage. The cream has a beautiful lilac color and a soft perfume fragrance. I neither like nor dislike the scent. • 🌹 The cream has such a luxurious feel. I used it as a sleeping mask at the last step of nighttime skincare regimen. It spread and absorbed easily on my skin without any tugging. • Unfortunately that’s where all the good points stopped. I woke up the next day with my entire face super itchy. I spent the whole day scratching, applying other soothing products, and taking some Benadryl. I have the bad habit of slather things on my entire face without patiently patch testing it first. I have nobody to blame but myself. But oh well, YOLO!! • To rule it out without a doubt, I applied to my forearm before going to bed. This product has an amazing lavender scent. It has something in it that burns my skin like alcohol. I don't think I would purchase this. there wasn't much hydration for me, but that might be because it was irritating my skin. Smells great, but not for sensitive skin.
