Let me tell you it was soooooo cold I used it after showing and exfoliating not the best idea😂!! IT WAS SOOOOOO COLD almost gave myself a brain freeze LOL... that was my mistake! I show have used it after coming in from the hot Florida sun!! Your supposed to keep it on for 10-20 minutes after removing the mask Rub product onto face.. Moisturizing Yes I could feel it!! Whitening Not really sure if I could see that... Calming Yes I could definitely feel that!!! ***CAUTION.... If your sensitive to cold BE CAREFUL!!! Would be a good idea to just refrigerate this or after taking it out of the freezer wait a minute before applying to your face...***

My skin absolutely hates the hot weather, and it turns into an irritated tomato constantly in the summer. This #Bellon #GateSolution Frozen Mask sounded perfect to soothe my angry skin! ⠀ ...Until I read the ingredients list and found that alcohol is the 2nd ingredient. So in true slacker fashion, I waited until the last minute to try this mask. ⠀ I stored the mask in the freezer for over 24hrs and took it out when my skin was mildly angry (too risky for full on angry tomato face). The directions say to wait 30 seconds before applying. ⠀ The mask comes in 2 pieces which allows for a better customized fit, but the nose bridge was still way too long. Otherwise it fit decently well. There is a strong citrus scent to the mask from bergamot & grapefruit oils. ⠀ The mask definitely feels frozen when you put it on, but it seems to thaw pretty fast once it adheres to warm skin. The fabric feels like a super soft microfiber that is soaked with a thick essence. ⠀ I kept the mask on for about 15 minutes (I was too scared to risk more). When I took the mask off, my inner cheek area near my nose looked red when it wasn't before putting on the mask, but the rest of my redness had gone. ⠀ Unfortunately, the mask left this weird separated cream film on my skin that I had to wipe off with some toner. My skin also became more red & irritated in the 15 minutes after I took off the mask. ⠀ I was really intrigued by this mask, but unfortunately it did not work for my skin at all. I'm not even sure that removing the alcohol would help since it left a weird residue. ⠀ Overall, I would not recommend this mask. Ah getting sheetfaced. A time tested tradition in the ebonyhanbang household. I try to sheetmask every single day sometimes twice a day. These last few months though I have been doing not so well at that task, but when I saw this mask which had funky gimmick of being different when applied frozen I thought, "how fun" and instantly wanted to test it out. Plus its hot AF here in the district so the thought of anything cooling right now is so necessary. . . . Claims: A new concept mask which contains gel type essence that changes its shape according to temperature. The essence softly spreads at room temperature but is a sherbert ice cream when frozen. This mask is supposed to be anit-aging, moisturizing and calming. It contains adenosine as well which helps to improve wrinkls and minimizes skin irritations . . . Impression: Meh. I think that sums up my entire experience. I choose to use this mask frozen so I experienced the gel like sherbet consistency. Frankly other than being cooling I didn't really feel like this offered me anything extraordinary compared to other masks I've used. The essence lasted for about 25 mins of masking before the edges started drying out. I was able to tap the remaining essence in to a smooth non tacky finish. My face felt fairly hydrated afterwards but I did still have to apply my regular emulsion afterward since I felt my skin would have been dry without it. I'll be honest & say I don't think this mask ranked even as high as my top 5 favorite moisturizing sheetmasks though it was pleasant. . . . Cost: $10 / 2 sheetmasks . . . Repurchase: Nah. I mean $5/mask is a lot for me generally speaking. If I'm gonna spend those kinds of coins on a mask it better be something else like my sulwhasoo ginseng sheetmasks (though I've not reviewed them they are BOSS). So no I wasn't so impressed I felt like I needed to pay this amount & in fact I have masks that are way cheaper but performed better. . . . Here’s how to use Gate Solution Frozen Mask; first put it in the freezer for 24 hours prior to use. After cleansing, toning, remove the mask pack from the freezer, leave it at room temperature for about 30 seconds. After removing the 2 piece mask from its package, remove the film and place the sheet mask on your face. Rest/Relax for 10-20 minutes then remove. After removing the mask allow the skin to absorb the remaining essence by gently patting your skin. I really enjoyed this experience of apply a frozen mask on my face. The only part I didn’t like was the strong alcohol scent. Other than that..It felt so cold, I can feel my pores tightening. After about 30 sec it feels like a regular face mask. TBH.. You peel the white plastic off apply mask to your face then gently pull the clear plastic off separating the mask from the protective covering. It states to leave in for 10~20 minutes. I must say it's soaked in essence!! It's very moist and feels like it's cooling on my face cold but not frozen..It has a slimy feeling I guess I'll say. ▫️Gate Solution Frozen Mask by Bellon▫️ . I have placed a mask inside the refrigerator numerous times already but this is the first time I used something straight out of the freezer. Yep, you read it right. This mask is meant to be frozen. . This mask comes in two pieces: a top and a bottom one, both sandwiched in plastic films. There were no excess essence in the packet as all clung to the mask. Surprisingly, the mask wasn’t frozen stiff. Adherence is great, however the mask feels a little bit small. When I removed the mask, tiny clumps of the essence formed on my skin, but all melted and absorbed quickly into it. . The mask claims to have calming, whitening and moisturizing effects on the skin. I can say that the calming effect may be due to the mask being cold, giving a soothing effect on the skin. For the whitening part, I really didn’t notice anything so perhaps you need to use this mask more than once in order to see that effect. As for the moisturizing effect, I believe this is where the mask did well. My face felt more moisturized than usual and this lasted for almost a day. . Overall, I would say this is an enjoyable mask to use, especially during the summer. . Gate Solution Frozen Mask We are experiencing a heat wave here in Illinois and this mask sounds amazing right about now. Just from the name - Frozen Mask, I know that it has to bring some soothing and cooling effects to my red, splotchy skin that’s tired of heat. I was imagining that a mask kept in the freezer (as recommended) was supposed to be really cold but it wasn't, it had some cooling effect but nothing really out of ordinary. Mask contains niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, bergamot, grapefruit, aloe and unfortunately alcohol as the second ingredient. Comes in 2 pieces - for upper and lower part of the face and both pieces are sandwiched between plastic backings. Application is easy, I prefer masks that comes in pieces, but they are rare with non-hydrogel masks, it's easier to make them fit properly and cover my entire face. Adhesion was great, mask glued itself to my skin and felt good as the mask’s material is very soft. Scent is hard to place but I didn’t dislike it but after removing the mask from the pouch I got whiff of alcohol that dissipated quickly. I had the mask for around 25 min and removed it when mask started to dry Mask nicely cool down my overheated skin down, removed redness from skin, evened out my complexion and made my skin soft and smooth. Overall, nice experience even though I was expecting more of a cooling effect, skin looked fresher and even. Product provided by @0.8 for review purposes.

This is a sheet mask that you put in the freezer for 24 hours prior to use. It’s supposed to keep skin moisturized, cool your skin down, calm tired skin, and converge large pores. I went on a long walk with my dog in hot and humid temperature, and decided to try the mask when I got home. My skin felt super super refreshed and the mask was soothing while the rest of my body cooled down. Initially when I took the mask off, it felt and looked plump and hydrated, but the hydration didn’t last a long time from the mask on it’s own. I’ve never frozen a sheet mask, but definitely refrigerated them, and I have to say this method feels so good that I’ll have to try it with some of my others. I didn’t notice anything with my large pores, but maybe that’s after multiple uses. It’s perfect for the summer, since it is literally a cooling mask that you pull out from the freezer to help soothe, calm and moisturize your skin.❄️…………….. ❄️The science behind the mask is that the gel-like essence is able to change depending on the temperature. At room temperature, the gel has a soft and squishy texture, but after being frozen the formula is a like thin layer of ice (or creamy sherbet!). I loved the idea of freezing it and using it after a long hot day in the sun, so that’s exactly what I did. Using the recommended instructions, I pulled it out of the freezer and let it sit for 30 seconds, then fitted on my face. Of course, the initial application from the freezer was a shocking cold sensation, but it quickly began adjusting to my skin temperature while providing a constant cooling sensation.❄️…………….. ❄️I found the two-part mask easy to apply without any sliding issues or repositioning needed, which is refreshing considering that the bottom slides off of many masks that I’ve used. The recommended masking time was 10-20 minutes, but I went a little over after getting caught up in other tasks since I like to stay busy while I wait. It gave off a barely-there lemon scent that wasn’t offensive at all. After removing, I gently padded the remaining essence from the mask and packet on my face and neck. I can safely say that this mask is amazing; I could noticeably see the reduction of my pores, a soft glow and smoothness all around. I also can’t say enough about the refreshment I got from using this mask out of the freezer, which makes it a must-have during the summer months.❄️

When I applied for this campaign, I didn’t realize that the frozen mask was named that for a reason and that reason is that you throw this bad boy in the freezer! Yup! You place this mask in the freezer for 24 hours prior to wearing it. I normally don’t like anything cold (Wyoming ruined the cold for me), but it actually felt really nice to put the cold mask on. I wore the mask for a good 30 minutes and it was comfortable and fit very well. My face felt soooo smooth and moisturized after I wore the mask and my skin did look a little calmer and whiter afterwards too. I love sheet masks so I was super intrigued when I saw the Gate Solution Ice Clinker Mask available for a trial offer on #08L It’s recommended that you put this mask in your freezer at least 24 hours before use. The mask claims to moisturize, whiten and calm all with one sheet! The packing is super cute and has a luxe feel to it. It didn’t feel flimsy and held up well in my freezer! After trying this mask, I absolutely loved it! The cooling of the mask was super soothing on my skin (and perfect paired with a warm bath and a cold glass of wine!) The essence on the mask is a bit thick, almost like a jelly like texture. The mask stayed in place and felt light and refreshing. It had a pleasant scent and wasn’t too overwhelming. The mask left my skin feeling soft and moisturized after leaving it on for about 15 minutes. I would definitely purchase this mask in the future. It’s especially perfect for summer months!

I thought it would be unpleasant at first, but mask is just cooling, and amazingly comfortable on face. I just can relax all day in it. Serum is very thick, when chilled and melts on the skin slowly. Amazing product. It is moisturizing, whitening and calming mask. Maybe the effect of brightening is not overwhelming I would say, it is very moisturizing and calming. It contains Niacinamide, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate Bergamot Fruit Oil, Grapefruit Peel Oil and Aloe Extract. The mask comes in two parts and it easy to apply, large enough to wear comfortably. It does not slide down and you can keep it on for at least 15 min. bellon bellon Oh Dear, if not the price I would be stocking my whole freezer with them! Who need to eat when you have masks like this, right? Anyways, try if you can. Such cool product. I’ve been saving this mask for a super hot day, and of course tomorrow will be 86 degrees but this is due tonight. Alas, the show must go on. The mask is super cold when you first put it on, but quickly warms to your body temp. It’s actually quite refreshing. The mask comes in two pieces, which makes it easier to apply. It adheres well and easily. The fit was pretty decent for my face as well. The one downside is this mask does smell somewhat strongly of alcohol. It’s got a citrusy scent to it, but the alcohol just overpowers. The mask stayed wet for a good while, and did not leave any sticky residue after. My skin was definitely softer after using this. The essence is thick - almost waxy - and feels a bit sticky with a citrus scent. There is no excess essence, there is only what is stuck in the mask material. . Application was easy - I was able to lay the mask pieces neatly down on my skin and they stuck very well due to the thick essence. I immediately felt a cooling sensation that lasted nearly the entire duration of wear. The fit was a bit small for my face though. . I wore this mask for 30 minutes, and my skin felt cool and refreshed afterwards. My skin tone appeared brighter, and my skin felt more hydrated. The essence absorbed well but did leave a bit of tackiness on my skin. . Overall this wasn’t a bad mask, but it’s not one I’d seek out specifically. . Have you ever wondered what would happen if you put your sheet masks in the FREEZER?! Well that's exactly what you're meant to do with these masks. . ❄️I participated in the campaign by @0.8l_usa and @bellon.official to try out their Gate Solutions Frozen Mask. I was so excited to get these because (as we all know) SoCal summers can be BRUTAL. I'm pretty sure I bought them before we had that 117°F heatwave and boy was a wishing these came in time for that. ANYWAYS the directions say to put this in the freezer at least 24 hours before expected use. When you're ready to use the mask, take it out and let it sit for about 30 seconds (I did not read this part and tried to put the mask directly on my face when I took it out of the freezer. NOPE. Just wait a bit, it's worth it). You then wear this two-piece mask just like any other sheet mask! . ❄️I couldn't find what material the mask is made of, but boy does it fit well (swipe left)! It feels like cotton but adheres like hydrogel or biocellulose! This great fit might also be attributed to the frozen jelly essence this mask boasts and to the fact that it is a two piece mask. But whatever the reason for its superior adherence, I support it 👍 . ❄️I did notice that alcohol is the second ingredient in this mask (and I could smell it too, but I my for a few seconds). This isn't too much of a problem for my skin, but I know some people are very sensitive to high concentrations of this ingredient. However this mask also has ingredients like panthenol, glycerin, carbomer, bergamot, and niacinamide. . ❄️After using this mask, my skin felt hydrated and depuffed! My face was slightly tacky at first but the gel essence quickly absorbed into my skin. Overall, I enjoyed this mask! It is definitely a unique treat to use and made my skin feel very fresh.
