I received the real barrier Control-T cleaning foam for my honest review. I am a huge fan of the real barrier brand for so mamy reasone. This has to be ny far my favorite cleanser in my routine at the monent. Rich formula. Clear gel that turns to a luscious foam for a deep down clean. Skin is left clean amd hydrated. Gentle enough for all skin types. My skin stayed clean feeling all day with no oily build up.

Late night quickie.... review😎 I'm delirious from the melatonin. . . . For tonight I wanted to share another ~low pH~ cleanser find by @atopalmusa , the Control T cleansing foam which comes in a 180 ml pump bottle and has a nice gel formula. If seeing "T" as part of the name of something makes you think, tea tree, well you're in luck, this has tea tree in it. And it has enough to give you that fresh tea tree oil aroma, but I would say it's less strong than the cosrx good morning cleanser. . Atopalm says this is "a sulfate free, low pH gel type cleanser that helps protect the skin barrier while gently removing the daily build-up of excess oil." . . The pH came in around 6 for me and it's actually not bad a removing some makeup, but as usual waterproof liner and mascara still need either makeup remover or oil cleanser first. Overall it's not a bad cleanser, but I did find it a bit more astringent/drying than I'm used to, which makes sense since it seems to be more marketed towards oily skin types. So hey, if you have oilier skin but still want a low pH cleaner come check this out. . . . . Real Barrier Control-T Cleansing Foam has SAVED my face from being SO broken out, as of late! I was able to try this cleanser out at a discount through the fab @0.8l_usa in exchange for my review... and I am so grateful for the timing!!! Going through a diet change & cleanse is no joke, friends... and my skin has been purging, which is no bueno! Generally speaking, I do have combination skin & T-zone oiliness. So, I think I would love this cleanser most of the time anyway, but it really has been a winner!!! It has a pump top, feels like sticky liquid like soap, foams up nicely, & doesn’t leave my skin overly dry - like so many oily skin or acne type cleansers. Overall, I have really enjoyed this Cleanser & feel like it will be joining my regular go-to everyday (esp. during breakouts or overly oily days). This cleanser was my right arm during my recent vacay! I was having a hormonal breakout and this kept it under control and helped my skin heal faster. It also had the best scent! It smelled herbal and medicinal once pumped out onto my palm and then when ai applied it to my face it smelled floral 🌺🌸 I love how clean this made my skin fee without stripping it which is so easy to do with this type of cleanser. Review of Real Barrier Control-T Cleansing Foam Product claims: REAL BARRIER CONTROL-T CLEANSING FOAM is a sulfate free, low pH gel type cleanser that helps protect the skin barrier while gently removing the daily build-up of excess oil. An acid balanced cleanser that when pumped onto wet hands forms a rich lather to thoroughly cleanse excess oil and impurities on the face including dead skin cells. Product comes in a slender, tall bottle in an aesthetically pleasing color combo. It has a basic plastic pump which dispenses plenty of product with only slight pressure needed. The cleanser is gel-like in nature and foams up nicely when combined with water. I do not notice any scent with this cleanser.

I have to say, I love this cleanser. You only need a little bit of product to get a nice foam. It cleanses my skin nicely and does not leave it feeling stripped or squeaky. As someone with somewhat dry skin, this is a big plus for me in a cleanser. No skin reactions, breakouts, or irritation to report with this product. I use this cleanser in the morning so I can’t speak to how it will perform when removing makeup. I think if you’re doing a double cleanse, it will likely perform well. I love how my skin feels after using it in the morning. My face feels soft and moisturized. I will definitely be buying another bottle of this cleanser once I use this one up. The Real Barrier Control-T Cleansing Foam for oily and acne prone skin, helps to remove excess sebum and impurities, and protects the skin from environmental pollutants. It's a gel type cleanser, does what it claims, leaves the skin clean and free from impurities without drying it. The cleanser can be use for the AM or PM routine, it's very gentle with the skin, I felt my face clean after using the product. Overall it's a great cleanser, however, I can't stand the floral scent, it is too strong for me.

Atopalm Real Barrier Control-T Cleansing Foam is a deep cleanser for troubled skin, oily skin, and large pores. This can lift impurities, absorbs and removes excess sebum. The cleanser is sulfate free and low in pH that doesn't mess up the pH in the skin. The cleanser is non-comedogenic which means it will not clog pores and also is hypoallergenic tested and unlikely cause an allergic reaction. It's formulated with an anti-sebum complex of Evening primrose flower extract, Ulmus and Clover Flower extract that all help control the production of excess sebum, anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial agents. Also includes Calendula, white hazel leaf water, and tea tree extract to help calm irritated skin and external environment. Control-T cleansing foam comes in a pump bottle. I had a problem with the bottle when I opened it up the pump was really good and the design was also sleek and easy to use but the screw top was loss and I spilled most of the cleanser on the bed. I had only about 15% of the product still in the bottle. I was kind of disappointed that the cap wasn't securely screwed on even though there was a clip to stop it from spilling which didn't work since I had it on and it still spilled. Anyways, The cleanser has a slightly herbal and flowery scent. The cleanser appearance is clear and gel cleanser. It's a bit thick cleanser which you only need one pump to cover the whole face. I did like that this cleanses my oily face and didn't over dry my face. It left my face feel normal and smooth without the tight feeling. I think this would be great for acne skin and oily skin to use this since it has ingredients that can work well for those types of skin. I give this a 10/10. The gel cleanser is clear with a herbal scent. To foam up the cleanser, you need to apply this on a wet face or foam it up between your hands. This cleanser makes my face feel very clean without drying or stripping my skin. This cleanser does very well removing light makeup. If you have a full face of makeup, I recommend using an oil based cleanser first as you’ll have makeup residue if you don’t. FYI, this cleanser contains phenethyl alcohol, it’s the third to last ingredient on the list. I typically like to stay away from products that contain alcohol as they can dry out the skin. @atopalmusa Real Barrier Control T Cleansing Foam #review for the @0.8l_usa app. First off, I'd like to emphasize that the accuracy of this review isn't guaranteed as I was sent an expired bottle to review. I am disappointed. Paying a discounted rate for an unbiased review doesn't justify sending an expired product. Because of this, sales are final. Nevertheless, the product worked fairly well despite being expired. My favorite types of cleansers are those with a foam gel consistency. I used about three pumps for a thorough cleansing twice daily for at least a week. This product is sensory issues friendly. Just my friendly opinion.

So surprised to open my package for the Cleansing Foam to see they included a little trial size of their Aqua Soothing Gel Cream!! I'll have a mini review of that as wellll. 💦 The cleansing foam is marketed as being for oily and acne prone skin which 🙋‍♀️👐🏻👋 yeah that's me! The gel cream is said to be for dry and combination skin which I am not so much. 💦 I was confused when I pumped it out because I expected a foam (I'm bad at reading directions beforehand 😅). I couldn't really get it to foam up? It was a little sudsy, but I wouldn't call it a foam. That's not a point against it though; my only concern is how WELL it works. 💦 It has a sort of lemony scent🍋 Some type of citrus. It was strong, but I found it refreshing! 💦 My first test of this product was to see how efficiently it removes makeup. If it needs to be the second cleansing step or it can do it all in one. And I can report that it sure can do it ALL. We're talking mascara, eyeliner, powders, foundation. It wasn't completely eradicated off my face but I'd say like 95% which is fantastic. 💦 My skin felt very soft and clean and smooooooth after using! It honestly felt moisturized which I think is INCREDIBLE. My skin definitely loved it and I'm already looking forward to washing my face with it every day 😍 💦 The gel cream moisturized the HECK out of my skin. Wow! Atopalm Real Barrier Control- T Cleansing Foam Review . I’m always excited to try out a new cleanser especially one that caters to those with oily T-zones. When I read the name Control T Cleansing Foam… I expected it to foam. So first off, if they can manage to put that it’s “for oily and acne prone skin. Non-comedogenic tested. Hypoallergenic tested” in English, they should also include directions in English on the bottle because I had to do trial and error trying to use this cleanser. I tried it on a wet face like I use most of my cleansers and it didn’t do much, then I tried it on a dried face… haha even worse no foam at all. With the word “foam” in it, I expected a healthy lather. Nope. This product did not lather much at all, even when I finally looked up the instructions which states that you should “pump cleanser into wet hands and rub together to form a rich lather.” Maybe it worked for others better but it didn’t produce much in my opinion. So testing it out was a bit of a mess for me since the name didn’t really ring true, but I actually still like this cleanser. The smell…. Omg it reminds me of a Lush Cosmetics product, I can’t place which one, but a citrusy scent that I adore which makes using this cleanser very pleasant and easy for me despite it not really foaming well. I’ll continue using this cleanser in the hot months and see if it helps my oily T zone when it really counts, but for now I give this a thumbs up. . Hydration 5/5 – for a T zone cleanser this does not dry out my skin at all yet it also decreases the amount of excess oil I have! . Absorbability 4/5 – since I have no idea why absorbability is being rated for this cleanser, but I enjoy using it so I’m rating it 4/5 . And it’s formulated for oily and acne-prone skin, umm hello! 🙋🏻‍♀️. This cleanser contains extracts from evening primrose flower, kudzu root, pine leaf, ulmus and clover flower, which function as an anti-sebum complex as well as anti-oxidants and anti-bacterial agents. It also contains calendula, witch hazel, and tea tree extracts to help calm and soothe irritated skin and protect it against environmental stressors. . This cleanser comes in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The gel is dispensed easily and 1 pump is enough product for cleansing my face and neck. The cleanser itself has no color but it does have a citrus scent which I happen to like. It has a gel texture that foams up easily upon contact with water and washes away without leaving a residue. . My combination skin is oily but dehydrated so I’m always caught in a delicate balancing act of trying to control my oil while not stripping my skin’s moisture at the same time. Foaming cleansers are sometimes too drying for me but since this cleanser was formulated with my skin type in mind, I was hopeful it would work. Now I’ve been using this product for almost 2 weeks in my AM routine as my first/only cleanser and in my PM routine as my second cleanser and it hasn’t broken me out or left my skin feeling dry, tight or stripped after cleansing. It’s effective at clearing away any stubborn makeup or residue left by my first cleanser and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed afterward. While it hasn’t eliminated the need to blot my face mid-day, I have noticed I’m not as oily (esp in the recent humidity) so I do think it’s somewhat helping control my oil production👍 This cleanser is gentle yet effective so while I’m not loyal to any cleansers, I would consider repurchasing this again. . . I have been using this cleanser for almost 3 weeks and my skin has been balanced so much. I use it at night and a small pump is all I need so this bottle will last a long time. The smell is not bad either. I can describe it as a woodsy smell. My face feels refreshed and clean without that taut and dry feeling a lot of cleansers leave my skin. The only downside is you need to make sure you completely rinse your face because I thought I did but went to put toner on and it was bubbling up which never happened before. I also received a small sample of their gel cream which is AMAZING! I absolutely will recommend this cleanser from @realbarrier! I can’t wait to try more products from this brand. I've been experimenting with sebum control products this summer since one of my skin concerns is large pores and oiliness in my t zone. I also have a weak moisture barrier and I dehydrate easily, so I was immediately interested in trying Real Barrier Control T Cleansing Foam since it claims to be low pH and non drying, yet clear pores and keep them clear.   I'm not particularly picky about cleanser ingredients since I try to rinse it off in less than 30 seconds. However this cleanser contains some sexy ingredients such as witch hazel water,  tea tree extract, calendula, and what they call an anti-sebum blend of evening primrose extract, kudzu root extract, clover flower extract and pine leaf extract. Apparently these work together to keep sebum at bay. It's a mostly clear gel,  and directions say one pump is enough for your face.   OK,  now that I've kept my chill while giving you the basics,  I'm going to totally freak out about this cleanser. IT IS AMAZING!   Here's why I love it.  First, one pump is enough, even when I feel extra grimey.  It lathers into soft, fluffy bubbles and has a delicate, almost fruity floral scent that I just find so relaxing.  I look forward to smelling it. It cleanses so efficiently in the 30 seconds I let it stay on my face, removing any excess traces of eye make up or whatever my first cleanser didn't get.  It rinses clean, leaving my skin feeling fresh and hydrated. I don't feel dry or tight, even when I've used this after chemical exfoliation. My pores are so clear too, which is great because I tend to find the gentle cleansers don't clear them out as well as I'd like.  I use this mainly in the evening, as I rarely double cleanse in the mornings, but somehow it seems to help keep my t zone free from oil all day. Maybe it keeps the heavier stuff I use at night from settling in my pores… I don't know! Whatever it's doing is magical for me though,  so I intend to repurchase this and see if it makes its way into holy grail status. I like this Real Barrier cleanser so much, I am finding it difficult to stop using it so that I can test a different cleanser for review.

I’m always on the lookout for new low pH cleansers so when @0.8l_usa had this available as part of their Try Now campaign, I snatched it up for $3.99 in exchange for an honest review. This is the first product I’ve tried from @realbarrier and I’ve heard good things about them. This Control T Cleansing Foam is formulated for those with oily and acne prone skin, which happens to be my skin type. Obviously the first thing that I did when I got this was I got out my pH strips and got to testing. As you can see in the second picture, the results of testing the cleanser on its own looks to me to be around 6. That puts it at that ideal 5.5-6 pH level range for a cleanser. After testing this cleanser for around a week or so, I surprisingly found it to be a bit drying. I felt like I needed to quickly follow up with the rest of my skincare routine to kinda help combat that drying sensation on my face. I started to realize that I was perhaps using too much of the product since it foams up quite a bit so instead of a full pump, I started using half a pump and my face didn’t feel as dry as before. As of now, I prefer to use this as my nighttime cleanser since I usually spend a bit more time with my skincare routine and layer on the hydration at night. The cleanser also has quite a strong citrusy scent to it which is probably due to the list of ingredients which includes citric acid, bergamot fruit oil and tea tree leaf extract.
