I was lucky to get the chance to try out Huangjisoo Natural British Rose Hydrating Mask complimentary from @0.8lusa in exchange for a review; this will be my first Huangjisoo product. Being a combo oily skin girl, I cringe when I hear hydration since most often that means a dreaded breakout. The first time I used this sheet mask I woke up with a pimple 🙄👎🏽 and I didn’t even keep the serum/ampule on over night bc it left my skin feeling all sticky even after 30 minutes. I’m using it a second time tonight and again, I ended up washing my face after wearing the mask for 20 minutes. My skin does feel more hydrated, but I could do without the sticky residue. Hydration 5/5 Absorbability 3.5/5 due to the residue left Functionality 2.5/5 bc I have to wash my face off after yet this claims to be a “daily” mask. I couldn’t imagine even attempting putting makeup on over the ampule as it didn’t completely absorb into my skin.

Getting it out of the package and unfolded was a little difficult and I ripped out a bit. The smell is appealing. laying with it on my face was very relaxing and it felt very nice. after talking it off I rubbed it in and my skin has a glow. it's very moisturizing. my face feels very soft now.

The font style is what got me to sign up for this campaign 😅 Such a throwback to me as Papyrus is what I always use with papers in high school 😂 (unless, of course, the teacher required Times New Roman 🙄). Then there’s the chevron print that is one of my favorite prints 😍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It didn’t bother me in the slightest that this smelt strongly of roses which lingered the whole time I had it on 🌹 You have been warned though, that the scent could be overwhelming. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The mask is soaked in essence that is of milky white color. Material is a little stiff, but adhered well. Fit is decent. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This has a cooling effect which soothed my tired skin and I found that wonderful 😊 Essence feels tacky at first (as you pat it in after removing the mask), but soaks in really nicely without any residue, and then leaves your face matte. I’ll say this would be a good mask for all seasons: 1. In summer, this would be refreshing after outdoor activities or if you would just plainly want to beat the heat ☀️ 2. A daily mask for all skin types, it is a hydrating sheet mask that contains rose water obtained from English roses and supplies rich moisture to the skin” . The first three ingredients for the mask are water, glycerin, and rose water. In that sense, rose is most likely in a high enough concentration to be effective. . This smells strongly of rose. It was fine for me and I’ve been experiencing really bad allergies and nose sensitivities recently; however, it might be a bit too much if you’re sensitive to fragrances. . The mask essence is on the thinner side and the mask itself is soaked to the point where there’s enough for a really long sheet-masking session without being over saturated and messy. . In terms of effectiveness, this mask left my skin hydrated, but I don’t think that I will be relying on it in situations where I need intense hydration. It does not leave a thick layer of moisture like some of my favorite sheet masks so this is more of an everyday mask. . The mask is very easy to apply. It has cuts in the mask so it is easier to customize the fit for your face. I was very impressed with the cooling gel formula. I was a little skeptical if the mask would actually feel cooling but I was surprised how how great the cooking gel worked on this mask. You can definitely feel it cooling your skin and it is so refreshing on a hot day. The mask has a rose scent that I really enjoyed. I was pleased with the results of the essence after I used the mask. This mask will be perfect for the summer time here since it has the cooling gel formula. It was very soothing to use and loved how relaxing it was to use this mask. Overall I highly recommend this mask.

Thanks to @08liter I was chosen to review these British Rose sheet masks from @huangjisoo! 🌹 I love anything with rose and I love face masks so I was very happy to receive these as a pack of five. The mask is fully saturated with lots of essence and even after taking it off there’s plenty to rub in. The fit is a little big for my face but nothing too bothersome. It has a nice rose scent that’s not too overpowering or fake smelling. This mask left my face feeling fresh and hydrated and I would recommend it.

this product is very good (british rose hydrating mask). it smells wonderful. the mask covers the face completely. it's not heavy. the openings are very generous, I can see, smell and eat with any of the cream getting anywhere. it's so soothing. after about 5 minutes you feel a tingling, but it feels great. this is a mask that I will continue to use to. using it 2 times a week should do wonders.

I was pleasantly surprised with this mask! it is drenched in essence and smells amazing. When I first took it out and put it on it was very refreshing especially when I used it right after exfoliating! This mask leaves my skin so moisturized and soft. There's so much essence I even spread extra all over my neck and I love that! It comes with a set of 5 and packaged very well. The mask shape fits my face and is made so it can fit any shape as well. This has become one of my favorite sheet masks and can't wait to try more from the brand.

This mask stays on so well that I can pop it on and jump into the shower with it. The cutouts are also appropriately placed. After 15 minutes my face feels so nourished and hydrated! I like to rinse my face afterwards since it has a lot of leftover serum.

The Huangjisoo British Rose Hydrating M.A.S.K is a microfiber sheet mask. It contains "hydrating, moisturizing, and soothing" features. It's key ingredient is Rosa Centifolia Flower water, which helps supply moisture and a soothing effect for your skin. It also contains Tremella Fuciformis (mushroom) Extract, which helps with moisture retention and absorbability. The sheet mask itself, is soaked in a milky rose fragranced essence. The sheet mask also applied nicely onto my face without moving around. It had slits on the sides, which I think really helped it fit better. After 20 minutes, I took it off and I still felt a lot of essence on my skin. I was able to tap the essence into my skin, but felt like I had too much leftover essence to tap in. Another con I found was that it made my face feel kind of greasy afterwards. On the front of the box, it says "for normal to dry skin", but on the back it says for "all skin types". That was confusing. Maybe that's why I felt like my skin was greasy, because I have combo skin and not normal to dry skin. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My overall thoughts are that I feel like it didn't do much moisturizing or soothing for my skin. Other than the fit and feel of the sheet mask, I wasn't really impressed or liked it very much. I wouldn't purchase this mask in the future.

The British Rose Hydrating Mask is a skin fit sheet that hydrates, soothes and moisturizes your facial skin. I always have problems with my face being dry, and this facial mask helps me with that problem. I Like * sweet fragrance * moisturizer * mask I Don't Like * There's nothing I can say here honestly! The British Rose Hydrating Mask is just what the Dr. ordered if you need complete hydration for your face. It has a sweet smell that is pleasing as you wear it for the 15 minutes that's suggested. As you wear the mask, it's very soothing and feels great. My skin feels extra soft after use. Very impressive product!

I was able to sample the Huangjisoo British Rose Hydrating Mask and I really enjoyed the experience! This product came with five masks in the container and the packaging was very attractive and easy to read/understand 🌹DIRECTIONS: cleanse face and use toner, open package and apply face mask being sure to smooth out the mask going from the center of your face outwards. Leave on for at least 15mins then remove. There will be excess gel left on your face so massage into face with fingertips 🌹PROS: - very nice & light rose smell that doesn’t overwhelm - mask was a nice size and can fit a wide range of faces - low to mid price point - easy to use and understand - a subtle, nice cooling feeling while Mask is on - gel residue was absorbed and my skin felt hydrated 🌹CONS: - there was a lot of gel product left on my face after taking mask off and took some time to massage in - skin felt slightly sticky and greasy up to an hour after use Overall I did enjoy the mask but I’m not sure that it’s much different than other similar products on the market. Fantastic hydrating mask. Love the fit! I’ve been obsessed with anything rose lately. It has a clear essence that absorbs fully and doesn’t leave a tacky residue. I’m really impressed with the ingredient list. It’s very high quality and very clean. I can’t wait to try more products from this line!

I really liked this mask box set. it came with 5 British Rose Hydrating sheet masks, that are very hydrating and soothing. it calms any redness that I might have going on and leaves my skin glowy and healthy looking. The sheet mask itself, is one of the best sheets I've tried. it fits my face perfectly without it going over my hairline and sitting on my hair. it's also a lot thicker than any sheet mask I've tried, so it stays in place a lot better too. I had also received a sample of the huangjisoo Pure Perfect Cleansing Oil. I used it to remove a full face of makeup (foundation, concealer, mascara, etc.) and it did a really good job of removing every last bit. I usually use the Burt's Bees cleansing oil, and sometimes that can leave some makeup behind and it also causes my vision to blur temporarily, whereas with the Pure Perfect Cleansing Oil, nothing was left behind and it didn't blur my vision, so I was able to easily take off all my eye makeup as well. I was so excited to get the chance to try these amazing masks thanks to 0.8l. The package contained 5. These masks are large and very hydrating. They are very cold when I first put it on. I think these would be amazing on sunburned skin because of the cooling effect. There was plenty of left over serum to rub into my neck and upper chest area. My face feels so soft! The scent of the mask is very pleasant and not to strong. They are my new favorites. #complimentary

I received this item courtesy of 08L,but my review will remain honest. The British Rose is known to be very hydrating,so I was excited to use it in a mask! The excitement wore off quick as the rose scent was EXTREMELY overwhelming. So much so that it actually gave me a headache,and it doesn't get more subtle as you wear the mask,either. I had the mask itself on for 20 minutes,and initially,my skin felt great. I began to pat in the serum as I usually do,and as suggested by the instructions,and my skin and hands felt so greasy.Not only that but I noticed it was pilling on my skin all over,very badly. There was no other product on my face prior,so it was purely from the mask. I was so disappointed,and I immediately washed my face. I can't in good conscience recommend this particular mask from the brand.
