I knew nothing about Real Barrier and their products when I picked this up from @0.8l_usa for their Try Now. I simply wanted to try it because it said it was soothing and aided in the strengthening of the moisture barrier, which is a constant issue of mine. 💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧 To be honest, I didn’t even think it was doing anything at first, so I started to skip it during routines. Then I brought a storm of BHA onto my skin like a crazy person and wrecked my fragile little barrier and thought “ I have an ampoule for that” and began to really test it out. 💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧 The Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Ampoule is oil free. It has a pretty basic ingredient list including 5 forms of hyaluronic acid (all which function differently but synergistically to keep skin hydrated), ceramides, panthenol, madecassoside, centella asiatica and allantoin. Per their website, they use only plant derived fatty acids and use a technology called Multi-lamellar emulsion, or MLE, which is a cross pattern formula that mimics the natural lipid layer of human skin . This in turn tricks the skin into believing it is already healthy and so it performs as healthy skin would protecting itself and healing rapidly. It supposedly creates less potential for irritation. A quote from their site: “...for those who have skin that produces excess oil, but lacks moisture.” HOLLA. 💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧 I am no scientist, so I have no idea what is true, but I can tell you that my skin responded very well to this ampoule and my moisture barrier bounced back faster than before. What normally takes a week or 2, took about 3 days. Sure, I was using other products with ceramides and obviously scaled back my routine, but I am confident this helped a lot! Friyay skin care review! This Real Barrier serum locks in moisture, but has no oil. Great for summer, especially you desert dwellers! 🌵 Five different hyaluronic acids create smooth supple skin. The thick serum seals in hydration and is a great first or second layer of day lotion in the morning. I also love that the dropper is integrated into the top.

The ampoule is great for layering with other products. The packaging is a sturdy glass bottle but the dropper was plastic and wobbly. I’m hoping it doesn’t fall off. I can’t measure if it provided moisture all day long but my skin didn’t feel dry. ——- 💦Conclusion: Overall, I think it’s a product that does what it claims which is hydration. I like that it’s unscented and lightweight. I would recommend this to all skin types. Aqua Soothing Ampoule by Real Barrier CLAIMS: 💦Weightless and fast absorbing, texture ensures deeper penetration and absorption 💦Replenishes moisture in multiple layers of skin 💦Ultimate patented dual ceramides seal in hydration & revive damaged skin PACKAGING & APPEARANCE: This arrived in a small white and sky blue box.  The box has information about the product as well as directions on how to use it, this was in English and Korean.  Inside was a small glass bottle with the same colors as the box. The bottle only has information in Korean. It is a clear frosted bottle with a silver twist top that has a pump to dispense the product.  The liquid is clear, and the consistency is a little thicker than water, and includes 20ml/.6 fl.oz, and has a shelf life of 6 months after opening. MY THOUGHTS: I applied a few drops to my face and smoothed it over then I pat it on my face to absorb into my skin.  This did not have a scent, it was easy to apply and my skin absorbed it with ease.  My face felt hydrated after I applied this, but the next morning I noticed I had more dry spots then usual. I love the fact that it has a pump, it makes it so much easier to use it.  Unfortunately, I would not purchase this again as there were not enough benefits to justify spending $25.00 for 20ml of product that causes dry spots. I received this product for a discounted price of $3.99 for my honest opinion from 08liter.

My skin is very dry, sensitive and on Sunday it got a little sunburn (yes, I wore sunscreen). My skin felt really tight and dry. After using this for 2 weeks and specially this week twice a day due to the sun, my skin feels hydrated, plumped and best of all no tight feeling. The only thing is I wish it was bigger so it would last longer, but I will repurchase in a heartbeat!

For me it's hard to say whether or not something was good or bad, especially when it's basically just a hydrating ampoule. For this Aqua something ampoule by @atopalmusa it's meant to be soothing with ingredients like panthenol, centella and Allantoin but they also bring in some hydration with hyaluronic acid, the usual glycerin and the other watery ingredients that make it up. . . . I have dry skin and I used it after my toner/actives/FTE. I never got any irritation and it didn't feel like it soothed my skin when it was irritated. The ampoule felt much like any other hyaluronic acid serum. I feel like, with such a gentle & fragrance free formula, those with very sensitive skin would either be able to appreciate it more or at least be able to judge its soothing properties better than I. I think my only main con, is that its retail price 20 dollars for 20ml of product, pretty ritzy imo. I was lucky to snag it off @0.8l_usa for 3.99 but I wouldn't buy it again at full price. Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Ampoule is advertised as a supercharged moisture soothing ampoule. It is an oil-free formulation containing 5 different forms of hyaluronic acid, all of which function in the delivery of moisture to various layers of the skin. It also contains dual ceramides which help strengthen skin barrier and seal in hydration, as well as panthenol, madecassoside (derivative of centella asiatica extract 🙌) and allantoin to calm, moisturize and soothe skin. . This ampoule comes in a 20 ml frosted glass bottle with a push-button dropper. The ampoule is easily dispensed and 1 pump is enough product for my entire face. The ampoule itself has no color and no scent. It has a viscous gel-to water consistency that spreads easily and is absorbed quickly with no residue. It layers well under other products with no pilling whatsoever. . My combination skin is constantly dehydrated so I always need to include hyaluronic acid serum in my routine. I’ve been using this product for the past 2 weeks in my AM and PM routines and I really enjoy it so far. There’s been no adverse effects and it does everything it claims to do. It’s a lightweight hydrating product which dries down matte and leaves my skin feeling calm, plump and hydrated. This is a great product for all skin types, whether you are dry, combo, or sensitive, I believe everyone can benefit from added skin hydration. While I do wish the product size was bigger, I would consider repurchasing this again. . . . .

This serum is only 20ml so it doesn't seem like a lot, but I only use it for my forehead, nose, and chin anyway and it spreads so easily despite its texture, so I think it'll last for longer than I initially expected. It sinks right in and leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated, but definitely not sticky. My forehead feels perfectly moisturized after toner and then this, without following up with extra cream/additional moisturizer. The dispenser is great as it makes it very quick to dispense just the right amount. I think it's also very affordable so I will most likely repurchase once I'm out! . . Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Ampoule has been a wonderful product for me. Between my reactions to the summer heat and weeds that grew my face has been a mess. My face has been red and very angry at me. The Soothing Ampoule has really calmed it down. I was so excited about the results that I forgot to take a before picture. I know this has helped me and I hope it stays that way. Love this brand. This is the @RealBarrier Aqua Soothing Ampoule from @0.8l_usa getting a first impressions review! ~ FIRST IMPRESSIONS This ampoule claims to replenish moisture for a smooth and supple appearance that will last all day. It is oil free and has 5 different hyaluronic acids along with some other good ingredients, swipe for the full list. There is no scent and it has a thick water like consistency. It absorbs very quickly and leaves no residue, just soft hydrated skin. I’ve been using this for the past week or so and really like it so far. I always appreciate a good product that’s hydrating without shine/stickiness/etc especially in the warmer months.
