💘 Lightweight moisturizer with Centella asiatica 💘 • Shout out to @08l_usa and @cicago_official for letting me try this product in exchange for my honest review. • @cicago_official is a new natural dermo-cosmetic brand from South Korea. Their products are dermatologist- tested and cruelty- free. The brand is inspired by the Asian herbal plant, centella asiatica. This active ingredient is recognized for helping the skin to innately recover from inflammation, redness and or blemishes. • MY THOUGHTS: I like how it is packaged - simple and neat! Love the white and black theme. The container is a plastic matte tube which is very light - really doesn't take up much space in your purse (I do bring this with me sometimes). The consistency of the product is very lightweight and creamy; when applied, it smoothes out evenly and spreads easily. It is close to odorless (which I like a lot). It gets absorbed well and doesn't leave a heavy film. The only thing that is bothering me though, is why I feel like the volume is really small, why it doesn't feel like it's 50ml? Hmmm...really don't know, and for that, I started using a small quantity. It also didn't do anything for my blemishes BUT it works really well as a moisturizer! I love how it gives me that dewy look and feel. It also helps a little bit with the redness. Perfect for my lunch break skincare touch-up 😁

I have been using this moisturizer non-stop, I even decided to bring it with me on my recent travels. This stuff is great! It is super creamy, super hydrating, and it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. My only downfall would be how small the package is, but you honestly only need a small amount and it can easily cover and glide over the entire face. I even stopped using my last moisturizer just to fully devote to using this one. It is a bit pricey for how small the tube is but I think it’s worth it especially with how long it seems it will last considering how little needs to be used. I would definitely recommend this to others! It left my acne-prone sensitive skin totally unharmed too, which is always great news for me! Love!

I like how this fits in my hand, and it’s a lightweight soft plastic tube. Pretty cool that is has slightly raised lettering on the tube! 🌸 Claims & Details: Daily Facial Cream, Naturally lightweight, soothes & moisturizes sensitive skin, revives dry skin, glowy skin, use day or night, not heavy, perfect as a makeup base. 🌺. 🌸 More info on Centella Asiatica: CICAGO was inspired by this skincare ingredient, which also reduces redness & blemishes. The brand is new from South Korea, and is a dermo-cosmetic brand. 🌺 Thoughts & Use: I don’t get too many blemishes at 55; I think I have a small one on my chin area, and this cream did seem to help take away the redness. I tried it various ways; before applying makeup (after moisturizer), and also after my makeup was finished (as a setting cream). It’s recommended to wait for skin to be dry, before applying makeup. I like how little I had to use! My skin is Combination; and I do like how it works for various areas of dryness, while not feeling too heavy. The scent is really light, reminds me of a orange creamsicle. It seems to keep my skin smooth, helping fine lines look smooth under my makeup. 🌿CICA-GO Cica Finish Cream 🌿Description: Moisturizer for hyper-sensitive skin types 🌿Key ingredients: Centella asiatica ☘️Impressions: CICAGO’s Cica Finish Cream is formulated with hyper-sensitive skin types in mind. Referred to as a “Finish” cream, it’s basically intended as the final step of your skincare routine - day or night and can double as a primer of sorts too. Simply packaged in a white tube, it features the ingredient, centella asiatica, in a special “Cica-go complex” of botanicals to calm irritation, fade scars, & speed healing. Castor oil is the source of rich fatty acids that provide moisturizing effects. The texture of the cream is both thick & gel-like with a gentle citrusy fragrance to it. It smooths on & spreads around easily due to its gel-type nature. It’s described as “lightweight” but I found it to be surprisingly rich. The first time I used it was in the day time to see how it worked as a “primer” and I probably used too much because it didn’t feel so lightweight & it left my skin feeling a bit tacky. As far as a primer is concerned, it seems to smooth & even out the skin surface for makeup application but I happen to prefer a cleaner, less tacky finish before I apply makeup. I experimented with applying different amounts & had better day time results with less product but ultimately found a better home for it in my nighttime routine where I can combine it with their dual-phase Cica-go Double Effect Ampoule. The ampoule is a bit oily so it pairs well with the Finish Cream to create a rich hydrating combo before I retire for the night. At night, it doesn’t bother me that the formula is a bit sticky. It’s pretty much what I would expect of a highly emollient cream. Unfortunately, I only got a little over a week with this cream before the review deadline so I can’t speak for long term results but I do like the glowing results I’m getting so far. I don’t think I’ll be using it as a makeup primer per se but it has the rich emollient texture that’s perfect for my night time regimen. $45 for a 50ml tube on Amazon.com.

Review: @cicago_official Cica Finish cream. • • 🌸 Packaging: the cream comes in a plastic squeeze tube with 50 mL. Easy to use and fairly hygienic. • 🌸 Scent: has a fresh lime fragrance, sort of like their bi-phase double effect ampoule. I actually like this scent a lot. • 🌸 Thoughts: this cream has a light and silky texture. It spread and absorbed readily, leaving a beautiful moisturized canvas behind. • I have not experienced any irritation or additional breakout the 3 times I’ve used this cream (mostly in my morning routine). However, my skin surface was extremely sticky to the touch. This tackiness effect was made worst by the hot and humid summer weather we’re having. After an hour or so of being outside, my face had that really sweaty feeling. And I started to get annoy when my hair began to stick to my face and neck. • I think I will save the rest of this cream for the cold and dry winter months. Prepped, primed and hydrated! With the addition of Centella Asiatica, I can rest assured at knowing this cream helping my skin to recover from inflammation, redness and blemishes. They claim superb efficacy using natural extracts providing healing skincare solutions that are easy on the skin! I have to agree. Cicago has a good thing going and I would love to try more of their line!

New skincare review! This CICA Finish cream is for you if you have sensitive skin. it's fairly light and is great for both daytime and nighttime where. I find that this is a great base underneath makeup. Botanical ingredients and low irritation, so great for roseacea or irritated skin. Always do a patch test with any new product!
