▫️Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner▫️ . Thanks to 08L’s Try Now campaign, I was finally able to try this highly praised holy grail toner. If you don’t know already, this one is version 2.0. The original one has essential oils in it making some people react to its formulation. Klairs decided to make a toner that is unscented to tend to those who are allergic to essential oils. . The product is thicker than my other hydrating toner. It’s also not as runny. Despite its thicker consistency (compared to my other toner), my skin absorbs it really fast. It doesn’t leave a tacky or sticky feeling, infact, it makes my skin really feel hydrated and plump. One layer of the toner is enough for me, but if I am feeling like I need more, I usually do two more layers. I can say that I now understand why people consider this as a HG toner. I am loving it! . While Klairs actually claims its unscented, I can still detect a scent that reminds me of betadine (iodine). It’s not really strong and doesn’t linger, so its all good. . I haven’t tried the original formula yet. I heard that it’s as good as the new version, and has a relaxing scent to it. This is an unscented, essential oil-free version of the popular Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner, for those with sensitive noses or allergies. It is advertised to be moisturizing, balancing for the pH level, cleansing, and soothing for the skin. Some ingredients include aloe extract and althaea rosea flower extract. It is a simple, but strong toner that’s a good step in your skincare routine if you’re really looking to amp up your moisturization. Ingredients like lipidure and Beta-Glucan work to lock in the moisture that this toner provides. Although my skin is not sensitive to the original essential oils in their other toner (such as lavender oil, eucalyptus oil, lemon peel oil), I still found myself enjoying this toner. It feels really light on the skin yet packs a punch of hydration, which I believe can be in part from the lack of oils-- they sometimes can feel kind of heavy on the skin. All in all, it’s a pretty watery toner. After using this toner repeatedly in my skincare routine for about a week, I have noticed a decrease in redness and breakouts, my skin seems to be locking up all of the moisture without clogging any of my pores. It makes my skin feel soft, moisturized, and fresh, which I really like. It also does not leave any residue behind on my skin, which is great. In conclusion, I really found myself liking this toner! It’s subtle and light but packs a big punch of hydration and leaves my skin looking fresh and clean.

The ever popular Klairs Supple Preparation toner is beloved by many and when I heard they were coming out with a version 2.0, I was immediately intrigued. I actually really enjoy the OG and even love its herbal scent, but I'm really impressed that Klairs thought of releasing an "unscented" version for sensitive skin types that may not react well to essential oils/fragrances. Now everyone can find a toner they would like! . 🌟 Unlike the OG, this comes in a clear plastic bottle where you can clearly see the toner inside. The texture has a little body, thinner than the whamisa and the ER toner. The texture is very apt for the 7-skin method - just pat pat pat and you can feel the hydration. I've been using this constantly for past couple of weeks and I'm using it up so quickly. A bottle can probably last 2 months depending on usage. . 🌟 This performs just like the original - it plumps my skin like no other and doesn't feel too heavy on the face. It's a great skin softener and works wonders on my dry flaky patches. There's a slight tackiness when applied but certainly not overly sticky. While it says "unscented", there is a scent to this - it's almost a clinical smell, which I don't particularly enjoy. . 🌟 I think if choosing between the OG or this, it really boils down to skin type and scent/fragrance tolerance. I had the opportunity to try the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner and, honestly, not my favorite. Because of my skin type (oily), what I like from a toner, more than just hydrated skin, is the feeling of a clean and fresh skin after applying it. The only thing I like about this toner is that it'sunscented, I always prefer skincare products without scents or perfumes, but the Klairs toner it's not for me. Also, the toner claims to balance the pH level, deep moisturizing, clean and soothe the skin. I used it for about a week, but I had to stop applying it because it started to breakout my skin, a little. I would recommend this toner to someone with dry or sensitive skin.

I've been a fan of the Klairs Supple Preparation Toner from first pat- so I was curious how it's sister Unscented version would stack up. And I wasn't left disappointed. The Unscented is slightly lighter, the instant supple feeling that the Original gives isn't quite there, but the lightness is still very pleasant it's own way. Oily skin types and those in humid climates might actually prefer the Unscented for this reason. In terms of effects, the Unscented is very calming and helps any following products sink in easier. In other words- it's an all- around solid toner. I would recommend checking it out if you'd prefer something lighter than the Original, or are sensitive to plant oils and/or fragrances. . . Review on the Klairs Supple Preparation Toner (Unscented): 💜 * Overall, I would say I like this toner and it does the job. The toner is described as a: frangrance free, lightweight, moisturizing toner for all skin types, specifically oily and sensitive skin. It features ingredients meant to soothe and hydrate such as hyaluronic acid, centalla asiatica, licorice root extract (brightening too), aloe, and beta-glucan. It also balances your skin’s pH level so that it is prepped and ready for the subsequent products in your routine. * The toner has a gel-like consistency and I do enjoy that it is fragrance free, as there are less chances that it would irritate my sensitive skin. I treat this more like an essence since it is more gel-like and use it after my more watery toners. It does absorb nicely and quickly, and my skin feels hydrated. Due to the consistency, this toner is also quite popular for the “7 skin method” trend. When I first started using this toner, I wanted to try the 7-skin method with this (but just applied it 3x instead of 7 because that takes too long). It did not make my skin feel sticky despite the multiple layers. After using this for several weeks, I feel my skin is more hydrated and I feel less of a need to put on multiple layers- (I now use 1-2 layers). It hasn’t done anything in terms of brightening nor does it decrease redness- but I think it does the job of adding hydration in a non-irritating way. My skin feels soft and this is a great way to get that glassy-dewy skin look. * Light watery layers are essential for hydrating my combo, acne prone, and sensitive skin, so this product fits right into my routine. I’d recommend it as a first step after cleansing and will continue using it in my routine. This toner in combo with my Mebika Moisture Lotion Toner has improved the texture of my skin (hydrated and smoother).

This has a plastic scent which I wasn't a big fan of, I really miss the lavender scent that the original one had. . 💧Results: The original Klairs Supple Toner is my HG product, which I've repurchased for about 5 times already. I was pretty excited when I received this product, because I really wanted to see how the unscented version compared to the original. After using this for about ~2 weeks, and sad to say, I'm not a big fan of it. The scent of it was my first issue, since the plastic smell is quite strong for my sensitive nose. In addition to this, I'm not quite sure why but my combo skin doesn't feel as moisturized, as it is when I use the original version with the 7 skin method. I ended up craving for that supple, and also the soothing scent, of the original version every time I use this product. Review of Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner This toner comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a silver cap. Once you unscrew the cap, you have access to your toner! The texture is a gel-like viscosity. You can dispense some onto a cotton pad prior to application or just shake a little into your hand. The latter is my favorite way to apply. Smooth the toner over your face and lightly tap until absorbed. I did not notice any scent with this toner. Claims: A lightweight, moisturizing toner for all skin types, specifically oily and sensitive. Fragrance free and made without essential oil and harsh ingredients. Its gel-like consistency seeps into the skin to make the skin less dry, more smooth and plump with consistent use. Feel free to add a little more of the toner in the areas that are dry. Like the original one, this toner also has a star-studded ingredient list that is perfect for all skin types, and features a soothing blend of plant based extracts, along with hydrating ingredient hyaluronic acid, and the soothing centalla asiatica. Toners are pretty much my jam. After terrible experiences with western toners (which often contain alcohol), I decided to branch out to k-beauty. I’ve tried numerous different toners but Klairs is my absolute favorite. My go-to is the original Supple Preparation Toner but I am happy to report that the unscented version works just as well.

I typically apply 2-3 layers of this toner, allowing dry time between each layer. If you have oily skin, you’ll do just fine with a single layer. This toner absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling nicely moisturized. As someone with somewhat dry skin, the moisture boost from this toner is just what the doctor ordered. It plays nice with my other skincare products. I experienced no irritation, breakouts, or adverse reactions with this toner. No stickiness or pilling to report either.

If you are sensitive to fragrance, buy this toner! Your skin will thank you. As for me, I will use up this bottle and then return to the scented version of the Supple Preparation Toner. Now here goes the unpopular opinion - it seems this toner might have broke me out. While testing the toner I did experience some whiteheads that popped up along my jaw and forehead. I can’t be too harsh on it because I know the original never gave me issues and my breakout could be due to other factors as well, but I’ll have to continue using this to observe long term results. During the testing period I know this was partially the cause, and I will update my review accordingly. 💦 👉 REVIEW: KLAIRS Unscented Toner 💦 💦 I was so excited to get to test this product! This is Klairs second version of their popular toner which is fragrance and alcohol free. It also is gentle and non irritating on the skin, which makes this an excellent choice for sensitive or easily irritated skin all while hydrating and nourishing your skin. 💭 After a couple of uses, I could tell the difference on my skin. Finding the right toners can be difficult. During acne flare ups, this was very hydrating and sensitive that didn't cause additional redness or break outs. It also helped to reduce any irritation that I had. I noticed a tremendous difference when I paired this with my hyaluronic acid serum to further ass moisture into my skin. Klairs Unscented Toner is a great addition if you suffer from easily irritated skin. I have finally found my favorite toner. Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner checks all the boxes on what makes up a perfect toner. Claims ✨ Unscented and fragrance free. ✨ Fast absorption. ✨ Enhanced hydration. ✨ Enhanced the efficacy of products used after. ✨ Balanced pH level. I was lucky enough to have been able to test this product for over 3 weeks, using it almost everyday and every night. Shipping was so quick I thought maybe I had purchased it from Amazon Prime lol Results after 3+ weeks of use. ✨ Anyone who knows me will tell you I do not like scented products and if it must be scented it better be light and/or disappear very quick. With this toner my dreams came true. It is completely and utterly unscented. There are no added essential oils either. ✨ When using after cleansing I would pour the product into my hands and quickly spread all over my face and neck then proceed to gently pat the product into my skin. I say I did this quickly because if I took my sweet time it would have already been absorbed. Within 10-15 seconds the product was taken in and my skin was ready for the next products. It fast absorbing rate also allowed me to layer the product to add higher levels of hydration. ✨ Now after only one layer of this toner my skin was awake, refreshed and hydrated. When layered my skin was plump and healthy looking like no other toner had ever achieved. ✨ I also believe with this product sinking into my skin so well teed up my skin to absorb the next products in my routine with the same speed and quality. I have a few notes on the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner. I was thrilled to see an unscented version of this toner come out. I personally wasn’t bothered by the classic version, but I know the essential oils bothered a lot of people so it was great to see a skincare brand respond so well to its customers. • I like that this toner still has its viscous consistency - it’s something that seems to really appeal to me in hydrating toners, and not only is this one hydrating but it has a nicely balanced pH of about 5 (according to the strips I used). • While I enjoy that this version eliminated the essential oils, the scentless component smells like plastic which is a bit of a bummer. Thankfully it’s faint and doesn’t linger so it’s not an issue. • My only noticeable difference between this unscented toner and the original facial toner, is this version seems a bit less moisturizing to me than the one with oils. That being said, my skin responds well to it and I will continue to use this bottle. Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner 👃 I remember when this product first came out, everyone went wild for it and I never got around to trying it, so I was so excited when 0.8Liter had a campaign for it! 👃 I haven't tried the original one yet, so I can't compare them. However, I really like this toner! It's got a nice viscosity to it, not too watery and not too thick. Also, I love that the packaging has a controlled pour lid thing-y. You don't have to worry about accidentally dumping too much toner out at once 👃 As far as scent vs. no scent, my skin doesn't seem to have a problem with either so I guess it really comes down to how sensitive your skin/olfactory senses are 👃 Thsi product contains so many good ingredients. Klairs is definitely a fan fav in the AB world, so I was excited to try this one out when it was offered at a trial fee on 0.8L. The package was simple, no frills to it. The product had no scent.
