Remember the other day when I mentioned that I had a new moisturizer I was going to try out? Well here it is I got this from @0.8l_usa for free to try and review. This couldn't have come at a better time. My skin has not been being nice to me this summer, I have had wide open pores and sweating lots and my skin had been all around feeling dry and gross af. This real barrier aqua soothing gel cream is supposed to quench your skins thirst and leave it feeling super moisturized. Let me tell you it definitely does. I used it after I did a deep cleaning of my skin, it was feeling extremely dry and when I applied this, it absorbed instantly, I went ahead and put a little more on and it absorbed as well. My skin melt more supple and moisturized. So I have my new fave summer moisturizer and I am so happy about it.

First, the scent of this is dreamy! The scent is very subtle, which is a good thing. Overall, my skin did feel calmer and more soothed after application. This did decrease redness and plump my skin but it does leave a thin residue. This is not a bad thing as this is supposed to help seal in moisture and shield the skin from further irritants. My skin just felt stronger, less irritated and sensitive. I also used this on spots of eczema and this cream did decrease the flaky, itchy feeling.

This cream came in veryyyyy handy over the last week. I had a little too much fun in the sun in Curacao and got burnt. As the rest of my skin was peeling, I was desperately trying to make sure my face didn’t. This cream contains Hyaluronic acid and doesn’t have much of a scent. It was very soothing on the skin and I love the gel consistency for the summer. It soaked into my skin easily and didn’t leave a sticky residue. I am happy to report my skin hasn’t peeled on my face! It did help my skin stay hydrated. I did a minimal night routine with only my FTE, Essence, the cream, and overnight mask. I woke up with my skin still moisturized. I have tried other brands that I did the same routine, but wake up with dry skin. Been wearing the moisturizer in the morning and I don’t see any dry patches coming up either. When I first put it on, it had a tingly feeling. It passed pretty quickly. I believe that was to calm down any skin that is irritated. On a humid day, this would clump up and causes some roll up of the moisturizer.

I am crushing so hard on this as being my holy grail moisturizer. The VERY FIRST INGREDIENT is Centella Asiatica Water; this is TIGER GRASS WATER! This means so much to me. I have found it to be an exemplary skincare ingredient and extremely soothing to my skin, especially during breakouts which I get constantly even in my mid 30’s! I get bad hormonal Acne and even just regular acne and my skin is so sensitive to products it doesn’t like. It breaks out immediately when my skin comes into contact with products that contain subpar ingredients. This gen cream did not make my skin break out. It instantly plumped my skin right up and gave me a “lit from within” ethereal glow. I feel very confident when I’m using this gel cream. This gel cream is also very cooling to the skin, but not TOO COOLING like its packed with menthol. I hate that feeling. This cooling is brief and enjoyable. Among all other things this contains 5 types of hyaluronic acids. This is so good to my skin and a gold standard of today’s skincare. I’m absolutely in love. I've really been enjoying the Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Gel Cream which I recieved free to review from @0.8l_USA and @atopalmusa I've been going crazy looking for a summer moisturizer for day time. If I wear heavy moisturizers in summer, they mix with my sweat. They feel gunky, it makes me itchy and splotchy. Most gel moisturizers aren't formulated with dry skin in mind, but this one is. The formula is a substantial feeling gel that absorbs quickly into the skin and feels so so soothing. Now, In my opinion this isn't a stand alone moisturizer because it is so light. However, when layering other lightweight products underneath, it only takes a little for this gel cream to excel in preventing moisture loss throughout the day. This is not greasy or heavy in even the slightest way. I've even used this after layering with a moisturizing toner and nothing more and didn't feel dry at the end of the day. It also layers under makeup fabulously without adding extra weight, or changing the finish. I really love this gel cream. It says it's for dry to combination skin, but normal to oily types dealing with dehydrated skin may also enjoy this. For people with dry skin that can't take another heavy goopy moisturizer on a hot summer day, I highly recommend giving this a chance. it's deceptive because it feels so light, but it aids moisture retention by protecting the moisture barrier beautifully.

This product is supposed to be perfect for warm tempratures and since its 110 outside, I thought this would a great time to test this product. Xylitol is in this hybrid gel cream for cooling the skin. Yes it is the Xylitol used as a sweetener but it is safe for skin. 5 different types of hyaluronic acid for hydration, and Centella Asiatica for calming skin. It claims to be good for oily skin and skin prone to breakouts. It also contains patented Ceramides, that Atopalm/Real Barrier gained patents in the USA and Korea for. And who doesn't need supple, plumped skin? I have to say, I've been using products with hyaluronic acids for years now, but 5 different types was intimidating. I did have a lot of redness when I first applied this product, but it subsided and never made my skin burn. With 110 degree weather and high humidity, I did not experience any cooling effect. The Ceramides plumped my skin and I welcome that any day of the week. I do think it is a great product and I look forward to seeing more results with extended use. @realbarrier aqua soothing gel cream* . I’ve been on a really big gel moisturizer kick lately and this is just another great addition to my now huge collection . The Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Gel Cream is a lightweight, cooling gel formula with five different types of hyaluronic acid in it. The multiple types of acid work together and aid in the delivery of moisture to various layers of skin. There is also centella asiatica to soothe, panthenol to calm, and allantoin to soothe. . This formula is very watery and lightweight. It melts into the skin as soon as I touch it, blending out quickly and easily. It’s like an intense drink of water for my skin. There is a slight cooling sensation, not as noticeable as the one for the Knours gel moisturizer. I find that I only have to use a very small amount, maybe half a pea’s worth, for my entire face since it blends out so easily and only a thin layer is needed to keep my face moisturized. I find that this keeps my fave hydrated all day without any sort of irritation. Overall, it’s a good product. At $20 for 50 mL, it’s about twice the price of cosrx creams, but the small amount needed per usage sort of makes up for that. I'm really loving this gel moisturizer from Real Barrier! I have combination skin, and this cream keeps me hydrated without making my skin look oily. I love that it comes with a spatula to keep the jar from getting contaminated with bacteria. The moisturizer itself has a thick gel texture that feels cool on the skin. I especially like using this cream on warm days for a cool treat. Although the moisturizer is thick, it spreads very well and absorbs very quickly.
