I found this to be a gentle exfoliating face wash. You can feel a mild physical exfoliant when using it. When I tried using it during a shower, I was struck by how noticeable I found the charcoal scent to be. I will continue to use this.

This is a fantastic exfoliant. I love that it’s very fine particles versus uneven sharp pieces. I’ve been using this three times a week. It’s gentle yet very effective. I’m always in the look out for something to help with my Retin a flakes and this has not disappointed!

I received this product from .08Liter for a discounted price in exchange for my honest review! These are all my honest opinion and thoughts about clairSEA's Charcoal Solutions resurfacing paste. This was my first experience with clairSEA and a face paste- it claims to help clean pores to resurface and revive dull skin, help with dark spots and scars. The packaging definitely is something that would grab my attention at the store- clean, easy to read and has great natural ingredients (a picture is included) I followed the directions exactly- applied to dry clean skin 3 times for a week. The paste was very VERY thick and difficult to apply to dry skin. It became gritty as I massaged into my skin. I ended up using more then I wanted to and didn't really care for how it felt on dry skin- it was dry itself and stubborn. The second I added water ( like it said) it instantly changed. It felt nice and started getting thin quick. The best part about It was the natural lavender scent, and how easy it was to rinse off! It was like magic- most clay based products linger or require a lot of time to come off- not this! I didn't notice any changes right away- if any at the end of 3 days it was very little and I believe this is a product you'd need to invest some time into. I will say that I think orbs I used more frequently, the better the result. It did make my skin a bit red after use, but it didnt last long and wasn't irritating. It did make my makeup application much easier and I think I would use it has skin prep vs a night time recover item any day. Since this was my first face paste product, Id like to compare my results to a few others before I make my final decision. I will most certainly use this product up, and make it a little more frequent to see if I can get better long term results. This is fantastic stuff that will get your skin back to clear and radiant in no time. I am so into this Skin Like New from ClairSEA because it makes my skin feel so good after using it. My face glows. I have used the ClairSEA products in the past and I always get great results. I like that it has the little seal on the inside because, that reassures me that it’s a bang product. It is a really thick paste that smells super good. It is a skincare product that is vegan and cruelty free and made just for skin. I also love that this is a natural made product of 99%. Can’t get any better than that! The scrub crystals give you a microdermabrasion in your own home. The Clarisea Skin Like New Gentle Resurfacing Paste is a winner in my book. It contains bamboo, charcoal, kaolin, aloe, lavender, and benonite. It’s vegan and cruelty free! I am very happy with the formula. It’s thick and smells like lavender. After cleansing I applied it to my face and slowly added water while gently making circle motions. I could literally feel my skin thank me! My results were a thoroughly cleansed face with a bright looking complexion. The next day I noticed less oil production under my makeup. It did not break me out either. I would not recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin because if you are not careful you will scrub too hard. I would warn against it for those with dry skin too because it could be too drying! The directions recommended 2 to 3x per week. I may do it every other day because I have such oily skin. Go get this micro-dermabrasion paste now!

I have gotten the chance to try this sample from #0.8 liter and I really love the design first off and I love how easy to apply and use ,Not harsh on the face when I use and left my face feeling soft and clean and love how it’s natural and helps with dark spots +scars . Cons. May cause irritation on the skin. I haven’t had any side effects which I really love this product.
