Review: @truly_lab Botanical Beauty Balancing Toner • 💦 Packaging: this watery toner comes in a dark plastic spray bottle with fairly strong mist nozzle (see video clip). I used it both ways by spraying directly on my face or applied to a cotton pad for wiping. Either way is effective for its purpose. • 💦 Scent: It is fragrance free but if I sniff it really hard, I can detect a faint plastic smell. • 💦Notable properties: per manufacture, this toner has a pH of 5.5. It also contained a lot of antioxidants such as green tea extract, centella asiatica extract, polyphenol, propolis extract, hyaluronic acid, and aloe vera extract. • 💦 Performance/thoughts: when I use it in the morning, this toner provided a calm canvas, preparing my face for other layers of skincare to be absorbed. . When I use this toner at night, after double cleansing, I find that this toner did not provide enough hydration (even with multiple applications). I can detect a slight tightening around my mouth area. I could not see any redness or skin texture reduction, which is very disappointing. . For the price of $25 and super ingredients list, I expected a lot more out of this toner. • Side note: I received this product via @0.8l_usa after paying a trial fee, however @credithink shipped it. I enjoy a finer mist. This sprayer really soaks your face! This Unscented toner deeply penetrates and takes way all signs of dryness. The addition of aloe makes this a great summertime toner as I notice a light astringent type cooling effect. This being a balancing toner, yet still packing in hydration, it is great for daily use . Green Tea is well known for its anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties so I am always a fan of beauty products with this powerhouse ingredient! Overall I’m very impressed with Truly Lab’s Balancing Toner and I would recommend it.

I’m a sucker for anything with green tea. This amount in this toner is astounding. I love to use red led and green tea prior to led produces great results. It’s ph appropriate and suitable for oily and dry skin. I have also been using this with the 7 skin method and it’s truly leaves my skin glowing. I think this would also be great to mask with using cotton pads or pre packaged sheet mask. I’m not crazy about the spray bottle. Mine in particular doesn’t come out in a fine spray. It literally drowns me. I’d definitely like to keep this toner in my arsenal and will use it on clients as well

Thanks to 0.8L and Truly Lab I was able to test and review their Botanical Balancing Toner. It was truly amazing at how much dirt and dead skin it removed from my face after just sleeping! The proof is on the cotton ball! Look at the dirt it removed merely from sleeping! Although I do sleep with 5 dogs..hmmm... Using the natural cleansing power of green tea extracts this toner removes impurities and dirt, minimized my pores, refreshed and balanced my skin, left it clean, smooth and healthy looking. To use as directed you simply spray on using the pump but I found using a cotton ball to apply to face and neck was easier and made it absorb more quickly. You then just apply your usual moisturizer or serum and makeup as usual. It's that quick and easy and does not interfere with your regular moisturizing and makeup routines. For best results use twice a day, once in the morning and evening. I would definitely recommend to anyone with any skin type as it is all natural, made up of 89% Green Tea Extract, gentle yet incredibly effective.
