I purchased Wren Natural Cleansing Grains at discounted price from 0.8l USA in exchange for an honest review. Upon application of the cleansing grains to my combination skin I did not realize the different methods of using the cleansing grains. I first used the grains as a cleansing mask in an exfoliant combination as I massaged the thick consistency onto my skin I then realized how much of an exfoliant these grains really are. I experienced an acne breakout and I believe the reasoning is the cleansing ingredients bring out the impurities to the surface causing a breakout which in return leads to clear acne free skin. To break these cleansing grains down you can use the grains in a mixture of cleansing oil coconut oil milk honey and water to give different consistencies that alter the key ingredients making these grains more or less effective in your desired need. I will continue to use these grains in different concoctions to mask the perfect concoction for my combination skin.

Wren Naturals Cleansing Grains I received the Wren Naturals Cleansing Grains for Normal to Dry Skin through 0.8L for the cost of $3.99 to give my honest review of the product. The item retails on the Wren website for $25.00. Ingredients listed are kaolin (clay), colloidal oatmeal, organic rose hip powder, Moroccan lava clay, organic honey powder and lavandin flower powder. I like that there are no synthetic ingredients. After all, I only have one face and it’s not that young now. Not afraid to say it’s 70! I have tried the Wren Naturals Cleansing Grains for normal to dry skin both as a facial scrub and as a mask and I really loved how clean and soft my skin was after using. The cleansing grains are like a fine powder. I’ve noticed they have made my makeup look much smoother and softer and my fine lines and not so fine lines look smoother after use. Of course, I love that! What’s not to love there? There’s only one thing I didn’t love, and that was the smell. To me it smells a bit like rancid oil, although there’s no oil in it, so perhaps it’s one of the clays that give it the smell. The smell was not pleasant to me, but in spite of the smell I will still use every bit and mostly likely get more. The smell is worth what it does for my skin. If Wren happens to read my review maybe they will address the smell issue. You won’t be sorry if you get it though because I really do love what it did for me. A big thank you to Wren and 0.8L for allowing me to try and review this product. I like seeing more natural products come out of the USA.

Review: @wrennatural Cleansing Grains (for combination/oily skin type) • • 🌾 Packaging: this finely milled powder cleanser comes in a glass jar. An adorable and tiny wooden spoon is included with the jar. I’m more excited about the spoon more than the product itself 😂 • 🌾 Scent: I detect a sweet herbal medicinal smell. I’m used to drinking oriental medicine so I like this scent. • 🌾 Performance: I followed the instruction and scooped out a spoonful into my palm. Then I slowly added water until the powder turned into a dark green paste. After rubbing this paste on my dampened face 1-2 passes, I can feel this is too abrasive for my liking. My skin actually hurt a bit. So I just rinsed it off. Since I was paranoid that I still have residual sunscreen on my face, I followed with a gel cleanser. . I think this is more appropriate to use as a physical exfoliant or a wash-off mask than as a cleanser. I received this product at a discount of $3.99 from 0.8L for reviewing purposes! I am using Wren Naturals Cleansing grains for the first time and they leave my skin feeling softer than ever. You get 3 options with using these grains because you are able to cleanse, exfoliate, and masks. This is a product that I gravitate towards because you can knockout 3 steps with one jar. I ordered mine in the normal and it arrived in a cute little bag, has a small wooden spoon for scooping out your grains. Love it! 💕 Cleanse: Scoop out a small amount of the grains with your spoon into the palm of your hand and add a small amount of 💦. Work it into a paste and apply it to your face. Rinse well, feel the softness! Exfoliate: Scoop out and apply to damp face then work into a circular motion. Rinse well! Mask: Do same as cleanse but this time leave on face for 10min. Rinse well!

Honestly I am quite pleased the grains are soft and clean smelling. It’s easy to use and left my skin clean, refreshed with a smoother texture. I like that it can be used as a cleanser or a mask. They are gentle enough for daily cleansing. They are a powerhouse in our facial lineup! But we understand idea of a powdered cleanser might seem odd or even intimidating. So we thought we might explain them just a little bit more, to help everyone understand their power! LET’s WASH! Cup your hand and scoop the grains into your palm. Slowly add water and mix to form a paste. Then apply to face in a circular motion, rinse off and boom! Your face is clean and soft! ***I so agree with that last sentence 😁 Masking is same as washing, with the exception of leaving on your face for about 10 minutes and then rinsing off. You can also mix it up with some carrier oils as Sweet Almond oil, olive oil, coconut oil, etc. Honey, yogurt, cream also works.
