MAYCHIC DuoLip

I’m a big fan of lip stains for many reasons. I love the ease of application, the bright pop of color in a subtle way, and the staying power. Maychic’s Duo Lip Collection is marketed as such. They go so far as to claim 24hrs of wear. Unfortunately, this is not a lip stain. The packaging is almost identical to Tarte’s Lip Sculptor - a combo deal of a lipstick and a coordinating gloss. The shade I received was “Juicy Red” and the lipstick itself is a coral red, with a yellow undertone. Upon application, I quickly made an appointment at my dentist for teeth whitening. The lipstick also has a floral scent, and was definitely not long lasting. It has a creamy finish, but not hydrating. The gloss was actually the best part. One thing about kbeauty - no one does glitter and sparkle better. This gloss was a milky coral with gold flecks; those flecks are what made my lips look plump! There was also no scent! Go fig! The gloss applied smooth and was moisturizing. I applied it on top of the lipstick but the entire look was too gloopy for my liking. All in all, I will continue to use the gloss and would love to try additional shades!

Just got to try out Maychic Duo Lip Collection in Lovely Pink. The pink is just the prettiest color of pink. Its perfect for spring and fall. The lipstick and gloss has a very pleasant scent to it. Products leaves your lips smooth and soft. Not drying at all. You can use either side the lipstick or the gloss separate or you can layer over each other. The lipstick lasts longer on than the gloss. I wouldn't say all day but longer than most silky lipsticks. I definitely love the packaging. It is so chic and trendy, expensive looking. I would love to try the rest of the collection for sure. For me, rocking a red lip is sexy, powerful, and confident! Plus red happens to be my favorite color! I had the opportunity to try @maychick_mc Duo Lip Collection in the color Red 9 courtesy of 08l_usa Try Now campaign at a discount price. I love that this lippie is a duo product. On one end is the lipstick and on the other end is the lip gloss. You have the option of just using either one alone or together! I like it either way! The lipstick leaves a matte finish and the lip gloss gives it a nice shine with a little more pop of color. The color is very vibrant but it doesn’t last on the lips all day so you will have to reapply. It does come off when drinking a drink, eating, or sipping through a straw. The packaging is pretty and it is easy to carry in your purse and is travel friendly.

Thanks so much for the awesome product for my honest review @0.8l_usa. This lip duo was a nice change of pace for me. Maychic Duolip is a lipstick on one end and a gloss on the other. The colors available are 1. Vivid wine 2. Romantic Rose 3. Juicy Red 4. Lovely Pink 5. Red9. These lippies are made with natural ingredients such as Argan oil, jojoba Seed/Sweet Almond oil. I recieved my fullsize product in the color Romantic Rose. The product claims that it lasts 24 hours and is very moisturizing. The lip duo gloss when used alone did not last very long at all. I noticed the color fade at about 3 hours. I then paired it with the lipstick and noticed a little more longevity. I love the light floral scent in the lip gloss. Thus is definately a summer beauty item.

The product was just ok, the matte wasn’t really matte and the glossy was too glossy. Also, the color ended up being an electric pink that I have never liked very much. I expected a more subtle pink color. The color felt very 80’s to me.

The formula of the lipstick is creamy and comfortable to wear. I love that it's duo end. The lipstick is in the part that had designs and the gloss was in the other end. This product is very convenient for travel, so you don't have to carry both lipstick and gloss. I did have to reapply a couple of times which is normal for lipstick. Purchased this for trial fee of $3.99 on 0.8L. This lip product is scented. Its staying power is okay for a lipstick/gloss. Since i usually go for lip tints, i feel like it doesn’t stay long enough. The color is gorgeous. I would purchase this lip product if it were a bit less scented and stayed on for a longer time.. like a tint.

So this is my first time reviewing a beauty/cosmetic on here. Usually I stick to skincare but I was severely tempted by this lipstick duo from MayChic when I saw all the red combos which happens to be one of my favorite lipstick colors! I wanted to get all freaking fancy with my swatches & do an up-close lipshot but I've been feeling poorly all day & by the time I looked the review was due & so you'll have to put up with my regular style photography for now. . . . Claims: Made for beauties who want to achieve a truly custom lip look by mixing and matching lip colors. Matte & moisturizing and made with natural ingredients usch as argan, jojoba, & sweet almond oil. Mayochic's Duolip creates amplified lip looks with dramatic shine. Long lasting. 2-in-1 Duolip which lasts up to 24hours. Effectively hydrates/helps with chapped lips which is also waterproof. . . . Impression: So a few things first I'm a lady that believes in a strong pigment because I'm melanated. Beauty products that do not have long lasting or impressive pigmentation get trashed or returned immediately. Sorry I don't have time for it & not when there are millions of products on the market that proform to the standard I demand. Duolip is not the most strongly pigmented product I own not even close but it is buildable in about 2 layers so not bad. I pretty much expected that from something that is not a matte lipstick. This is more of a glossy soft finish. When combined with the gloss topper its beautiful, but not not long lasting especially if you are eating or drinking. This required something of a frequent reapplication. I say that as someone who generally wears matte liquid lipsticks so I'm used to formulas lasting & not budging generally unless I'm consuming oily things. That said this is highly hydrating & moisturizing on the lips unlike most matte formulas & is something I find fun for the summer. Pictured from top to bottom: lipstick alone, gloss alone, gloss + lipstick. . . . Ingredients: Unable to track down even on MayChic's website . . . Cost: $15 . . . Repurchase: I actually would in a deeper red colorway since I mistook the color of this one Juicy Red for Red9. . . . 0.8Liter and Maychic also sent me this lip duo. One end is a bullet lipstick and the other is an identical gloss. As with the Maychic brow tint, I love the product but not the color. On the campaign listing, Romantic Rose looked like a natural blush shade. Turns out it's a really bright pink. It doesn't work well with my skin tone at all. There's also a rose scent that is almost strong enough to taste. The lip product itself is nice. The application on both ends is good and the formula is creamy and comfortable. It's not particularly long lasting. Probably the same as what you'd expect from a gloss. I won't be using this much but I think if the color worked I would be happy to keep it in my bag for daily use. The reviews I'm seeing of other shades look gorgeous. I might go ahead and order some. FINAL SCORE: 76% Blendability: ⭐⭐⭐ - The lipstick is better than the gloss. Staying Power: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ -Nothing special; expect more from kbeauty lippies. Clor Payoff: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Strong, vibrant color with good pigment.

I purchased the @maychic_mc duolip in vivid wine at a trial fee from @0.8l_usa in exchange for my honest review. On to the claims of this product: 💋2-in-1 lipstick & gloss 💋waterproof formula, lasts up to 24 hours 💋natural ingredients containing Argan, jojoba seed & sweet almond oils 💋matte finish The lipstick duo is a double ended lipstick and gloss. I purchased mine in the shade vivid wine. The lipstick can be layered for more coverage, but I find that it isn’t matte as stated. It has shimmer throughout and has a satin finish. The gloss also has shimmer. I also feel that it isn’t long lasting as the claims, claim to be. It only lasted for a few hours, also depending whether your eating or drinking which will make it last less. I also don’t like the scent, it’s a strong floral perfume that seems to linger. I do like that it keeps my lips hydrated. But, unfortunately I don’t reach for it that often.

MAYCHIC Lip Duo Impressions: I’m always excited to try a new lipstick so I was so happy to see this lipstick/gloss combo offering from MAYCHIC & 0.8L. One end is a regular twist up lipstick & the other end is a sponge-tipped gloss. I got mine in the color Vivid Wine which I’m very pleased with. For those unfamiliar with Korean cosmetics, they definitely have a different aesthetic than Western brands. Traditionally, their color palettes are much more natural & sheer than you would find out West. They are looking for a lighter, more translucent effect that highlights the beauty of near-perfect skin. It’s much less common to see the stark, matte, opaque colors Westerners are familiar with in the K-beauty world. I found this lipstick duo to be consistent with the general aesthetic of K-beauty. The lipstick end applied smoothly & evenly with a sheer semi-matte color payoff whereas the “gloss” end had more of a lovely shimmer effect with a less vibrant, natural color effect. Both ends looked really beautiful on, stayed moist & didn’t dry out and left my lips feeling hydrated. In the pic, I’m wearing the lipstick end although I do share a swatch of both colors so you can see how they appear against my skin tone. Longevity of the product was about par for the course. Nothing is ever that long-wearing for me. This is purported to be “waterproof” & it can hang through about a cup of coffee but not much more which is the usual case for me. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed trying this lipstick duo out. The MAYCHIC brand is new to me & they really went all out in this packaging. It’s gorgeous!! Manufacturers retail pricing is $13 which is quite a steal for this lovely little package. I definitely think I would repurchase again but then again I totally prefer the K-beauty aesthetic to the Western one - something to keep in mind. 💄👍💄👍💄👍💄

MAYCHIC Duo Lip Collection in Juicy Red.... I couldn’t find any Brand information on this particular product because it’s only in Korea and the one website that I found that sold it was only in Korean.... My Review....First off, I loved the packaging it looks expensive and Lux!! The gold just stands out on the packaging... It’s a Duo so on one side is the gloss and the other side is the lipstick and you can also apply them together or separately...The lipstick is supposed to be a juicy red but it’s not all the red to me, more like a pink rouge, as the same for the gloss, definitely doesn’t look red but besides the color issue, I truly did love this product. The Duo lipstick & gloss looked amazing together or applied on its own. I first put on the lipstick than I dotted the gloss on top of the lipstick and it make a beautiful shine, which I loved!!! I’m definitely highly recommending this product...It’s so silky smooth when applying and it lasted me half the day before reapplying. Thumbs Up!! 👍🏽👍🏽

I was able to try the @maychic DuoLip in Romantic Rose. 🌸 This is a lipstick, and lipgloss, 2 in 1 set. 🌸 It is made with Argan, jojoba seed, and sweet almond oil. 🌸 The claims are that it a matte, long lasting finish. 🌸 My impressions : I was shown a picture of this color choice, thinking it was going to be a little more neutral pink. 🌸 Instead I got this neon, almost florescent, pink, which does not suit my complexion, or skin tone 😢 It had a very strong odor also - possibly paraben ? - that was hard to handle. 🌸 It did not feel very hydrating either. 🌸 I did not like this at all. It had so much promise, but it failed on every level for me. This is the second product by this brand I have tried, and so far I am not pleased with any of them. Maychic DuoLip Vivid Wine Color Review The DuoLip lipstick by Maychic is made with natural ingredients such as Argan oil, Jojoba seed, and sweet almond oil. The lipsticks come in a matte and moisturizing finish. Additionally, the lipstick is made to be long lasting for up to 24 hours. The unique aspect of the product is that it is a 2-in-1 lipstick including a lipstick and lipgloss on each end. In addition to the long lasting wear the lipstick is water proof and is meant to hydrate and help chapped lips. The Vivid Wine color has a bright red aura with hints of fuchsia. The color was not as red or vibrant as I had imagined and can be worn for causal events throughout the day. Disclaimer: I received this product at a trail rate in exchange for my honest review. The DuoLip helps to create amplified lip looks with dramatic shine. It can be worn all summer-long. The Lipstick contains 3.5 grams (0.12 oz) and has a creamy consistency. It has a fresh, slightly rosy scent. The lipgloss has 3.2 grams (0.11 oz) and is nice, non-sticky gloss with a bit of sparkle. It has the same scent that the lipstick does. The pigmentation of both shades is really strong and beautiful. The gloss even leaves a stain after you remove it. The gloss is very comfortable, but it does kind of dry out after a while, the color stays on the lips but the glossiness kind of disappears. The lipstick is fairly moisturizing and lasts as long as other lipsticks of this type do, up to 4-6 hours, depending on drinking and eating. Both products can be worn on their own or the lipstick with the lipgloss over top. It doesn’t gunk up on the lips and is very comfortable. I got about 4-5 hours of wear from this combination. Recommended use is to apply this long-lasting 2-in-1 DuoLip which lasts up to 24 hours as you would apply any lipstick/lipgloss. It’s waterproof and effectively hydrates/helps chapped lips and is dermatologist tested. After using, I found that they layer easily and beautifully and it stays on the lips for quite a while, up to my 6 hours in my personal experience, but a stain does stay on the lips for hours and hours afterward. The scent of rose is very light and not overwhelming, I think it smells wonderful. As for moisture, I didn’t feel that this was the most moisturizing lip product I’ve ever used. My chapped lips seemed to poke through after about 4 hours and the lip color could get a little messy after a bit. So best to check your teeth and the skin around your mouth. The color itself is very pigmented and really beautiful and vibrant. This color is even more vibrant in person. What I like: this lip duo is just beautiful, it’s highly pigmented and it has a lovely light rose scent. It’s long lasting and has moisturizing ingredients. The wear is comfortable and the colors are very vibrant. The color leaves a long-lasting stain and I think will suit most skin tones. The ingredients are beneficial and the packaging is beautiful too. What I don’t like: this doesn’t retain moisture for a long time and it can get everywhere if you’re not careful. The scent could be a problem with sensitive noses as well. Rating: 9/10

Maychic Duo Lip Collection is a duo lip product that has lipstick and lipgloss at each end. I picked the Romantic Rose which is the shade of a pink rose. The lipstick and lipgloss both don't really have any scent which makes me happy since I don't like the scent of Crayola scent in my lip products. The lipstick part has a smooth and creamy texture. It's soft on the lips and doesn't have any glitter or heavy feeling on my lips. The lipgloss is glittery and shiny on my lips. Both don't really stay on my lips for a long time and will wear-off during drinking and eat food. I give this an 8/10. I do like the design of the lip product and looks pretty.
