Coreana Ample:N Hyaluron Shot Ampoule (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) I am really interested in this brand as I have tried the Peeling Shot Ampoule and felt it has promise. I love my hyaluronic acid products, so I decided to give this one a try. This contains 400ppm of hyaluronic acid, an intense moisturizing ingredient which bonds water to keep skin hydrated. It is a natural substance found in the human body and it made up of amino and uronic acids, and helps retain 100 to 1,000 times its own water weight in our skin cells. Your collagen and elastin creates a mesh lattice work and hyaluronic acid is stored between that mesh ~ as you age, your natural HA in your skin is reduced, so it is important to replenish it. This also has 250 ppm of ceramides, which are lipids (fats) and are important in helping to repair and protect your moisture barrier. They will keep your skin hydrated and plump as they retain water. Ceramides are found naturally in your body and you lose the ability to produce as you age, so adding them to skincare products helps with anti-aging. This also contains patented Aquaxyl, a hydrating compound made from ingredients derived from vegetable origin sugars ~ xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, xylitol and glucose. Aquaxyl will also reinforce your skin barrier function, limiting water loss in your skin and preventing skin dehydration on a cellular level. I actually have great success with Aquaxyl in the past and am glad to see it in here. . . The ampoule comes in a clear bottle and it looks a bit milky blue and very thick. I was a bit worried when I got it as I thought this might be too sticky for my oily skin. Its texture is a lightweight gel that just melts into my skin once I tap it in ~ it has a slight floral scent that quickly disappears. This doesn't leave any tacky or sticky residue at all and my skin feels hydrated and smooth. This has a 26% increase in moisture and 26% decrease in oil levels in my skin. This ampoule is a nice blend of ingredients too ~ this is great for those of us with oily, oily/combo skin and for dry skin types, this is just a little bonus of hydration. You cannot beat the price either ~ it is under $15.00 at Amazon. . . One thing I would recommend with this brand is to seal either the box in cellophane or seal the bottle. Ample:N keeps killing it with the serums and I did have a little bit of regret initially buying this since I was like, why are you buying more hyaluronic acid when you already have some 🙈 In my defense it did look like it was more of a blended serum than the usual pure hyaluronic acid serums I see floating around . . . Pros: is a blend of hyaluronic acid and ceramide with a little niacinamide and something they call the, "patented xylitol complex prevents the moisture from flying away" ✈✈✈ And if that wasn't amaze enough it has a fabulously smooth non-tacky finish. Cons: with xylitol in it I have to make sure my dogs dont lick my face since it is bad for dogs, it has added fragrance which is kinda floral, and if you were wanting a simple serum this is not it. . . . I massaged a few drops of the Ampoule into my face and neck after cleansing and toning. The Ampoule had a gel like texture and absorbed very quickly. The Ampoule had a light fresh scent and contains Hyaluronic Acid and Ceramide. The Ampoule retails for $14.50 on Amazon. Final thoughts: The Ampoule was lovely and I did notice my skin was slightly more hydrated after use. For my skin type (dehydrated and sensitive) it does hydrate, but in my routine I need a lot more to feel the difference. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in between layers of toner, it will give it some moisture to bring to the deep skin. Even if I do not see some eye-blinding effects I like that ampoule. I am in love with this one. It is Amplen Hyaluron Shot ample and it a nice thick serum that spreads really easily over my face, so I don't feel like I have missed any spots. Dont worry, it still absorbs great and leaves room forthe rest of your regimen like lotion or cream. I really love the way this one feels and is easier to apply than watery serums. I hope to try more products from Amplen. Whether your skin is dry, oily, ageing, acne prone etc the root of it all is moisture. Moisturizing helps to build a stronger skin barrier and skin behaves more properly. Yes even oily skin. The more moisturized oily skin is, the less the oil glands overproduce.
