This house is getting ready for fall, and the need for pumpkins and gourds and squersh is at an all time high. I am planning on trying out some more pumpkin recipes as I like to eat squash to keep my healthy/energy up and these fall mold allergies have been killing me 🤧🤧🤧. But let's talk about this handmade bowl really quick, expertly crafted by @yidopottery . This is an adorable, rustic looking noodly bowl. I love that it is microwave and dishwasher safe aaand that it was handmade by my peoples. Though it doesn't match my all white kitchenware, it does match my decorative wooden bowl and plants which is nice for showing off what I picked from my garden or just holding a nice bowl full of fruit/snacks. . . . Originally this was on a campaign that went up on @0.8l_usa and I didn't get picked for the try free so I bought it at a discount for 4 bucks. They usually run 45 usd a piece which may seem high but for microwave/dishwasher safe handmade clay bowls it's not too high imo, altho I don't spring for them often. Yido Pottery-Handmade noodle/ramen bowl in Onyu version is about 5.2" wide X 2.0" tall. It's a decent size bowl to put in your soup, ramen, noodle, etc. This bowl is a unique warm white handmade bowl. This can be used in the microwave and is dishwasher safe. Also, it's free from lead and cadmium. The Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology tested Yoonshin Yi piece carefully so it is safe to use for eating on. Each piece is designed by Yoonshin Yi and carefully handcrafted by Yido artisans in Yeoju. Yeoju is a major center of contemporary South Korean ceramics. Each piece is made with 100% South Korean clay. They smear the bowl with glaze, put black dots and freckles, the partial difference you can see is the rim of the bowl and difference in colors. Yido Pottery was founded in 1990 by Yi, Yoonshin who belongs to the first generation of Korean Potters. She is first dedicated to making what is knows as "everyday ceramics." The bowl looks aesthetically pleasing even though it's not 100 perfect, there are uniqueness and elegance to the way the bowl looks. It even makes simple food look more appetizing. The way to use this bowl is to use it for serving. Please don't use it to cook in and do not place them on stovetops or any places with direct heat sources. The best way to take good care of Yoon's pieces is to hand-wash the bowl right after using it with warm or lukewarm water with a soft pad. It's better not to leave it soaking in warm water for a long time. You can still use this in the dishwasher but best to rinse it first and use a mild detergent than acidic and abrasive ones. I can say that using this bowl with my ramen or soup makes my food look tastier. I do say you have to be a little bit careful since this is a handmade bowl made with quality and not one that is manufactured in quantity. This is a great quality bowl and I like that this is actually made with South Korean clay. I didn't even have any trouble with washing this bowl. It was very easy and no stains were left on it. I really liked the look of the bowls when I saw them and thought it would be a nice addition. I love noodles and this bowl is perfect for any noodle dish. I was a little nervous about the shipping but was very happy that my bowl arrived in one piece. The bowl was shipped very carefully with a lot of wrapping and care. The bowl is really beautiful and I can tell it is carefully made. I love the fact that each bowl is handmade so no two are exactly alike! It is a nice sized bowl which fit a generous portion of noodles. The price is $45 a bowl which is a little out of my price range so I will be sticking to my one bowl for now. I like that it is microwave and dishwasher safe but I will be hand washing to preserve this bowl.

The Onyu line is of an off white color, terracotta colored borders, and a dark freckled indented spot finish. Just like the Cheongyeon line, the Onyu line is aesthetically pleasing, equipped with warmth sensitivity and microwavable. However, avoid temperature shocking, such as constantly microwaving the bowl, as it may warp and compromise the structural integrity of the product. Wash immediately after use. Don't soak. Extended periods of time soaking can potentially affect its structural integrity. I used this bowl for my chicken noodle soup. It remained warm longer than in my usual soup bowls. I had a wonderful dining experience and received compliments on my bowl. As with all #Yido products, their "Yoon" stamped signature can be found on the side of the bowl. I'm once again, very impressed with this latest addition to my kitchenware. I highly recommend this product. Note: This product was purchased at a discounted rate in exchange for an unbiased review.

Lastly, I’ll be reviewing the yido pottery bowl provided by @0.8l_usa in return for honest review. . . I’ve been really pumped that @0.8l_usa started offering more lifestyle kind of items! When I saw that the korean yido pottery was offered in the app, I was quick to get it! The bowl came as shown in picture and it’s super huge! It’s great for everything but I love using it for when I’m eating a huge serving of ramen :)) however, I heard from a lot of folks that their bowls came shattered which is unfortunate because the bowls should be packed more carefully.

The bowl is an off white color with a "yoon" signature carved at the bottom of the bowl. All bowls are handmade and have characteristics that are unique to each bowl. It is a beautiful ceramic bowl but it can still be used for everyday meals with no problem. It's microwave and dishwasher safe and a beautiful piece of functional art. Yido Pottery Handmade Noodle Bowl in Onyu (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) Not only does 08L offer skincare and food, but they are branching out to some really cool items ~ this has to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing items I have received and I love this bowl from Yido Pottery. It is HUGE, I will tell you ~ it is a 27 oz bowl, measuring a little over 9 inches at its widest point and is 2 1/2 inches tall. This is a handmade bowl made with 100% South Korean clay, designed by Yoonshin Yi and handcrafted by the Yido artisans in Yeoju, which is known for their ceramics in South Korea. You can tell it is handmade and looking at the bottom of the bowl, I do believe that they started it with a coil pattern ~ you create a long rolled piece of clay and then coil it to form the base. You can continue the coil, building up on the sides and then use a wheel to smooth it out. I am not sure if this is how they made it, but it looks like it (I took a couple of pottery classes in high school and somethings you just don't forget!!) . . According to Yido Pottery, the Onyu collection is one of their signature collections and it means "Warm spring scene and color of soil" and has a "warm sensitivity and subdued aesthetic." The clay is a brown with a warm reddish undertone and this has a glaze of a warm white shade, that has unique drips, smears and flecks ~ mine has a lovely huge drip of a brighter white glaze running on one side. There is an unglazed emblem with the signature "Yoon", which is on all of the pieces by Yido Pottery. This is very rustic looking, but elegant and minimalist. I was able to ladle up a HUGE bowl of udon noodle soup with veggies and meat ~ This bowl is great for sharing too! This is a beautiful piece ~ amazon USA sells some of the Yido Pottery items and this bowl retails for $45.00 ~ it would be great as a gift. . . Care Instructions: It is safe to use in the microwave and dishwasher, although it is recommended to hand-wash this bowl, using mild soap and do not soak it in water for a long time. The Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering has tested this to be free of lead and cadmium. Outside of the microwave, do not use this bowl for cooking ~ it is best to use it as a serving bowl only. I own a lot of handcrafted pottery, so these instructions are not unusual or out of the ordinary. These pieces are handcrafted and should be treated with care ~ they will last decades with proper treatment and you can use them daily.

I can feel the grooves around the bowl where the artist’s fingers created the indentation. I received this beautiful hand crafted Korean pottery bowl by Yido that was offered to me by 08liter.com for a special discounted price of $3.99 in return for my honest review. Retail cost listed is $45. I was so excited when this package was delivered to me. When you unpack the shipping box I was very impressed by the presentation box for this "Yido Pottery, Handmade Noodle Bowl, 27 oz, Onyu". I have included the Yido box with bowl in my pictures. My use for this bowl is for decoration, but it is microwave and dishwasher safe, lead and calcium free, tested by Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology. Each piece of pottery is designed by Yoonshin Yi and handcrafted by Yido artists in Yeoju. My piece of Korean pottery is made of 100% South Korean clay, glazed, and on top of the rim certain places were left without as much smoothness or glaze. It has a natural and rustic warm white color with a few black dots and fleckles of rustic color. I appreciate the fact that each piece has unique and natural characteristics of hand crafted pottery. Yido states there pottery wares are intended for serving rather than cooking. They recommend hand-washing, but when using dishwasher, always rinse piece first and do not overload. I'm so excited that I have another Yido pottery being delivered and I will write my review when it is delivered. I love Yido pottery and knowing the history behind the making and designs have made me come to love, appreciate the beauty of art the comes from South Korea. Yido Pottery Handmade 27oz Noodle Bowl is a unique, natural, and rustic handmade bowl for noodles salad and everything else. Yido was founded by ceramic artist Yooshin Yi who designs each piece and are in turn carefully handcrafted by Yido Artisans in Yeoju South Korea using 100% South Korean Clay and fired at 1,250°C which gives unique characteristics such as smear of glaze, black dots and freckles, and partial differences in color. Each handmade piece is microwave and dishwasher safe, lead and cadmium free, and tested by the Korea of Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology. Bowls are approximately 9.2" wide by 2.5" tall and the "Yoon" signature is carved on all handmade ceramic products from Yido. 💜 . I absolutely love the craftsmanship of this Yido Pottery Handmade 27oz Noodle Bowl Onyu from the lovely color and glaze to the "Yoon" stamped on the side. The noodle bowl is completely glazed except for the rim and bottom, and there are four groves set at intervals around the bowl. The noodle bowl is huge by regular bowl standards, and my Angel hair pasta, Roma tomatoes, Grilled Steak, Spinach and olive oil concoction that is my favorite, and what you are currently seeing in that bowl was not a serving for one, but for two!! I love how you can see the speckles mixed in with the white, and honestly this noodle bowl is one I would use from regular eating to holding a dinner because of the look, feel, and easy clean up it delivers. I purchased this handmade bowl for a small fee. I've actually been looking for a good size bowl for my salads. I eat them daily and the ones that come in our dish set just aren't big enough for me. I love the colors and patterns in the bowl that you just can't get from machined pottery. the top lip of the bowl has slight imperfections that are a little inconvenient, but it's handmade and I hand wash them anyways. I love handmade stuff anyway. it's more personal and usually better quality. this bowl is no exception. recommend if you are looking for a bigger bowl.

Received today and decided to make ramen noodles for lunch. What a beautiful bowl and it looks so great when using it. The bowl is made of high quality and I can’t wait to reuse it again to whip out more delicious recipes in the future.
