Also I got sweat rash behind my knees last week and this helped soothe it. Plus I went a little wild on peels last week, and my skin was HOT and angry and I wore this the whole day and my skin felt so much calmer. . 🌱Not really a daily skincare item, I would consider this more like medicine or treatment. Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel ___ When I first tried samples of this gel I could not get it to work for me. Perhaps it was due to the old formulation, but it always pilled when I added anything on top. I am so glad that I tried it again because it's absolutely been one of my favorite products! I have not encountered the pilling issue at all with recent sample packs and this tube. ___ This gel comes in a 100mL sized tube, contains a total 80% aloe coming from a blend of concentrated aloe leaf juice powder, aloe leaf water and aloe leaf extract. This is supposed to create a more hydrating product than the previous formulation which only contained aloe juice. This gel is for any skin type, super lightweight and fast absorbing. There is no fragrance or alcohol of any kind in the IL. Other notable ingredients are betaine, allantoin, propolis extract and cucumber extract. ___ I use this several ways. I love to use it after serums but before a sheet mask, I get fantastic hydration this way. I also use it just before sunscreen if it's a particularly hot or humid day and I don't need a moisturizer. I use it as an additional serum step, for a boost of moisture, and sometimes I add a couple drops of my facial oil to it as well. It is literally very soothing, especially nice on a hot day if you have it in the fridge for a bit. I find it really calms any heat I have in my skin and helps with breakouts. It never feels heavy, never clogs my pores and helps balance my skin. It's such a silky gel, and I can layer it easily with all my other products. __ Honestly I can't stop putting it on. I love this gel! I can definitely attest to its soothing properties. I love this following a chemical peel. I also use as a conductive gel for microcurrent and ultrasonic facials. Made with 80% aloe leaf juice and propolis extract. Like all Benton products, contains no harmful fragrance or chemicals

I absolutely love aloe products including sheet masks, gels, creams the whole gamut. The Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel has always been my go to aloe product for soothing my skin, but I think I’ve found a new holy grail product. Although this Benton gel has less % aloe vera than the Nature Republic gel, I like it better because it doesn’t contain alcohol. This also contains propolis extract and other ingredients that are very effective for soothing and calming the skin. I love that this comes in a squeeze tube so it’s not so messy. It has a neutral pH level like that of water. After using it for a couple weeks now, it’s definitely helped calm my redness and I haven’t had any new breakouts. My skin is brighter, and although I think this has helped with that I don’t think it’s the only factor as I’ve added other new products that contain brightening ingredients including niacinamide to my routine. I think this would be a great moisturizer for oily and sensitive skin types. For my dry/combo skin, it’s not moisturizing enough throughout the day or night sometimes so I usually add a facial oil underneath it or a cream over it. When my skin is irritated, I like to squeeze it onto cotton pads and mask with it, or I’ll use it as an overnight mask and put a thicker layer on as my last step.

The timing was simply perfect, my skin needed healing, soothing products and that is exactly what this delivers .. Benton is a cruelty free brand that believes in delivering simple but effective formulations at an affordable price. This gel is no different. It has been reformulated in 2017 to have more 200 times more concentrated Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder blended with Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water & Leaf Extract, which makes the new version more hydrating. It contains 80% of Aloe vera juice with other skin beneficial ingredients like Glycerin, Propolis extract, Cucumber, Green tea leaf extract, Lichen extract, Betaine and Allantoin .. This clear gel comes in a tube packaging with flip top. Packaging is functional. The light weight gel is easily absorbed into your skin, it hydrates, soothes and calms. The instant cooling sensation on applying this is something I have loved during the hot summer days. For dry skin types like mine, this works well as an emulsion. You will need to follow up with a cream / oil / sleeping mask. This could work as a moisturizer for oily skin types. I also like using this with multi layered cotton pads as DIY sheet mask for 3-5 minutes. I used these pads to soothe redness and inflammation and it worked. Overall, a product that delivers what it claims. I am going to be taking this with me on my trip to Ecuador. For the number of hours I plan to spend outside in the sun, this will be perfect to use post sun exposure .. Their Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel is designed to leave skin refreshed and hydrated. It contains 100 ml (3.38 oz) and has an alcohol-type of scent. The packaging is a squeeze tube. The gel is thick, colorless and has a slight cooling feeling. The gel is easy to blend out, but the alcohol-like scent becomes more noticeable. Once blended in, it really gives the skin a hydrated finish and even tone. The alcohol scent also dissipates and it’s very soothing and there’s no irritation. Recommended use is after washing and toning face takes 1-2 grams (0.03-0.07 oz) into your palm and evenly apply to the entire face. Please slightly tap to enhance absorption. After using, I noticed that my skin is very plump and retains moisture much easier. The gel soaked into my skin and left a slightly tacky and more supple finish. The alcohol scent is kind of strong, but luckily it dissipates fairly quickly and while I didn’t get any irritation, this may be something to avoid if you have sensitive skin. The ingredients are awesome and I think this is an improvement on their original formula. Though I did personally like the pump packaging better than the squeeze tube packaging it has now. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good soothing gel. What I like: this gel is really soothing and extremely hydrating, it really plumps the skin up. The ingredients are all very nourishing and I really like using this as a step in my skincare routine. I like that this has improved on the original formula and I really think it keeps my skin moisturized longer. What I don’t like: I wish they kept the old packaging with the pump. There’s also a noticeable alcohol scent. Rating: 9/10

Hello beautiful people😘, Let's get to the review of the Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel. Pros: I used this product for approximately two weeks straight. As you can see it went as a clear gel consistency and really went into my skin fairly quickly. It was very very light on my skin, not cakey or over drying. I thought it would be sticky, but to my surprise in was not. I can definitely see using this during the ☀️hotter months especially if you want something light and good for the skin. Most of us already know the benefits and healing properties of Aloe and so I appreciated the fact that it has the benefits of Aloe in this gel. I would buy this if your looking for a really lightweight product and you also like the benefits of Aloe. Also, the price point is pretty good ranging from what I researched online in the U.S. between$16-$20. Cons:. I don't know that there was really a Con on this product. For me the only thing I thought, was that it might be too lightweight on the skin. I did add after using the Aloe gel a little Argon oil to my skin. Nature Republic Aloe Gel⭐️ Ingredients: There are a few similarities such as the Aloe Leaf Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin and a few others but there are some key differences. The Benton one has Propolis Extract, and some more Aloe ingredients such as the Leaf Juice Powder and Water. Whereas Nature Republic (NR) has Spearmint, and parfum, and Carendula. I feel as if the Benton Gel has more plant extract, but the NR one has more fragrance ingredients. ✨ Scent: The NR one has more fragrance ingredients and has a floral scent whereas the Benton one doesn’t smell like anything. ✨ Texture: The Benton one is thicker compared to the NR one. They are both gels so they are light and clear. ✨ Thoughts: I actually like the Benton one a little more than the NR Aloe Gel. The Benton one is definitely more hydrating although I would not use it as my main moisturizer! The finish though is a bit more sticky though compared to the NR one which feels completely matte once dried! The NR one though feels more cooling and soothing compared to the Benton Gel. Both are great for addressing irritated skin, but I would rather use the Benton one for my face and the NR one for my body. Living by the beach 🏖 means lots of fun but also lots of opportunities for skin damage. Sometimes I run out the house without my sunblock and although I don’t burn because my skin is naturally tanned, I do feel the irritation caused by unprotected sun exposure. I tried this Aloe propilos soothing gel on one of those days and the effects on my skin were wonderful. It immediately soothes and renews the skin.

You see aloe gel is NOTORIOUSLY sticky & I hate STICKY, with.a.passion. But no, this is not sticky once it dries. Praise to whoever at Benton who figured out how to make an aloe gel that’s not sticky. @bentoncosmetics .... make it bigger because people like me would use this on a sunburn. I mean the lack of stickiness alone is priceless. Ok, enough about stickiness. This clear, cooling gem 💎 cleared up my whiteheads within 24 hours. It left me with a lovely, lit-from-within glow. My skin felt bouncy & hydrated. I also completely expected this to roll up into little balls under my makeup, but it did not. This definitely does not provide enough moisture to not have to put on a cream after but I used it as an essence during that stage of my routine & have to admit, I’m a fan. It is designed for problem and dry skin. This product helps soothe you skin at such times. Although I’m not having a problem with my skin right now, I found it to comfort and hydrate my skin. It has the faintest smell, but not a bad or irritating smell to those of us with scent problems. It hydrates the skin and also helps reduce the redness and breakouts. It also claims to reduce the acne scars over time. It gives my skin a healthy glow without being too tacky.
