Nakeup Face 10% AHA Scaling Cream × Featured Ingredients: Lemon Verbena leaf Extract Glycolic Acid Beeswax × As someone who's skin isnt usually sensitive, I was surprised to discover the brief tingling effect this cream imparted to my skin. I felt most comfortable applying the cream at night, 1x a week in the 3 week period of acquiring it. The scaling cream holds true to its name by removing the dry, flaking skin that might build up on our face (and elbows ^w^). There are a couple of moisturizing oils and emollients (beeswax, to name one) included to ensure dehydration to the skin is avoided. Nakeup Face also has a 5% version of this glycolic scaling cream & from information I've gathered, the textures of the product are completely different from each other. × Honestly, the beeswax felt slightly heavy on my nose & butterfly zone. As time lapsed, the feeling lessened, but because of this, I initially tested this scaling cream as my last step after applying toner (acids work better the closer you apply them to your bare skin ie; after toner and before serums or essences.) The instructions suggest using a moisturizer after this product but I currently lack a night gel that works with this product, creams have proven too heavy and caused clogging of pores. Nakeup Face 10% AHA Scaling Cream I haven't been using this for long. So far I like this. It has helped with my blemishes. My skin is smoother. The first couple times I used this I had a tingling sensation. After a couple times the tingling goes away. Its a thick cream and only takes a little bit. It absorbs quickly and my moisturizer goes on and absorbs good. I will add more to my review once I have used a little longer. I recieved this for free from 0.8l_usa for my honest review.

I was given the opportunity to try this out for a small trial fee from Nakeup Face and .08 liter. As I get older, I'm looking for better ways to exfoliate my facial skin without harsh scrubs, as they tend to do more damage than good. this is a pretty decent one, in my opinion. I had a pimple that had not come to head yet and after applying this, it exfoliated the top layer off and I was able to get that pesky pimple to dry up. my skin was super soft and glowing the next day as well. no dry spots like other exfoliant creams I've used. I'd purchase this again.

Nakeup Face 10% AHA Scaling Cream Review: Here we are again, another day & another review. Today I’ll be chatting about the Nakeup Face AHA Scaling Cream. It’s a chemical exfoliator in the form of a night cream. It removes dead skin cells, keratin and sebum, and also helps to balance & tone the skin. It comes in two concentrations, 5% and 10%. If your skin is on the more sensitive side, try the 5% version first. This can cause a bit of a tingle upon first use. So please be mindful of that if you have extra sensitive skin. - Ingredients: Besides the obvious Glycolic Acid, this product is also formulated with: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Hyaluronic Acid, Sweet Almond Oil, Niacinamide, Witch Hazel, Allantoin, Macadamia Oil, Jojoba Oil, Caulerpa Lentillifera Extract, & Centella Asiatica Extract. - Packaging: Pretty, simple, functional, but needs a little spatula to remove it from the jar. Luckily I had an extra. - Texture: It’s a cream that’s very thick and rich. The 10% version is much denser than the 5%. So much so that this almost comes off as a balm. When checking it out on the hand, you’d think it’ll be thick & heavy on the skin, but it absorbs into the skin, & doesn’t leave a heavy oily feeling behind...🙌🏾 - Final thoughts: I’m someone that LOVES to exfoliate. I sometimes over exfoliate, & although my skin has never shown reactions to doing so, I try to only exfoliate 2-3 times a week. I use this product for 2 of those times, the other time I’ll use my beloved Neogen Pads, Secret Key or Skin & Lab peeling gel. I like that with this, I just have to put it on, & not get up and wash it off. So, it’s essential on the days when I’m laziest with my skincare routine. This is more of a First Impression of the 10% AHA Scaling Cream by Nakeup Face. I had ordered it during the September Promo but just received it a few days ago so haven't really had the chance to try it out for long. . . . It has 10% Glycolic Acid which is an AHA and it is a very effective exfoliant. It gets rid of the dead skin revealing a very smooth and bright skin. . . They suggestbuilding up to a 1-3 times per week usage but since I have been using acids for a long time I go for every other day and I hardly get any irritation. The key here is knowing your own skin. . . Once I have had a chance to use it for a while I will update it but I have a feeling I am going to like it. .

I love AHA's and this is one that just gets the job done! When I first used this product it itched like a muther! The next day, no itching at all. But my skin was my skin baby smooth in the morning! The @nakeupface10% AHA Scaling Cream. may be my new Holy Grail product! I'm not too big on exfoliation with cleansers (you can be too harsh on your skin) but a good cream or liquid exfoliator is my thing. If you haven't used any AHA's before (or have sensitive skin) I would suggest using this slowly (1 to 2 times a week) then gradually increase or start with a product that contains a lower percentage of glycolic acid. It's a great product to add after chemical exfoliation routine. Just make sure you use it at night as it makes your skin is much more susceptible to sun damage.... so honestly just avoid daytime use altogether. 😎 AHA's are primary job is to exfoliate They can also help: •Promote collagen •Correct discoloration from scars or age spots •Improve appearance of surface lines and wrinkles •Prevent acne breakouts •Brighten your complexion •Increase product absorption 🌟🌟 Aging slows down your natural skin cell cycle, which can make dead skin cells build up. I’ve heard of this cream and have tried a sample of the 5% scaling cream before and liked it. The 10% scaling cream honestly frighten me because I have sensitive skin and was afraid it would dry out or irritate my skin. I patch test most new products to see my skin’s reaction before slathering it on my face. I tested the scaling cream for 10 minutes before full face application. I applied the thinnest layer all over and used a very small amount of product. . The directions indicate to apply a moisturizer afterward. The first time I used it I didn’t apply a moisturizer but used a creamy essence sheet mask. My skin didn’t get irritated or too dry. The second time I did apply a moisturizer and it felt comfortable underneath. Both ways worked for my skin. I would not advise using this product without any moisturizer on top. In terms of results, I noticed it made my skin feel softer and smoother. I like the results right now and will continue to use the scaling cream. I would recommend it to those that are comfortable with using 10% Glycolic Acid but for others, I would suggest to start with the 5% scaling cream and then build up. . It's a thick, white, and almost solid cream. I'm not sure I have any creams of similar thickness to even compare it to (maybe my hand cream??). It melts into the skin; although it does leave behind a fairly slick feeling. It's the type of product you may end up getting stuck to your pillow 😢 🎈 It stings quite a bit when put on broken skin which I did expect to happen but it still hurted. I do often have active breakouts (that I pick at like a monster 👿) so that's something I keep in mind. It does seem to help heal the wounds. 🎈 It made my skin feel smooth and very soft. I didn't notice any "peeling off" of dead skin as the tub says, though I imagine that might be happening at a microscopic sort of level. This makes my skin super smooth and it is really tempting to just dive in and do it every day. Please do not unless your skin is really adjust to chemical peeling. The effect is amazing as for me. This is my second jar (I do have older version too) and I love since my first purchase. I do have dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin, and this cream can cause some irritation, but, it can definitely change your skin as well. in my experience my skin is brighter, clearer and smoother in the morning. I use it when my skin is starting to be clogged usually after 2-3 days it gets clear and free of breakouts. I like it and will continue using it. It took me a long time to get this shipped to me, so I have only been able to try it for a couple days so I can’t attest to the long term benefits of this cream as of yet. It claims after 30 days you will see a great difference in the clarity of your skin. It’s applied after toning and before moisturizing. It’s a thick cream, and it felt odd to add a moisturizer after it. My skin was soft in the morning, and that’s as much as I can really observe.

After using this product for almost a month, I’m kinda impressed. A scaling cream is basically an exfoliating product. This contains glycolic acid at 10%. People over look the importance of exfoliating and it’s so necessary after 30. Your skins slows down the rate that it turns over and sheds dead’s skin as we age. Think dull dry blah skin. This product is fantastic for a no nonsense person. It will refine and exfoliate with messing with a liquid peel. No worries about making sure it’s even and processing for the correct or neutralizing. This doesn’t require you to rinse. You use it at night 1-3 times a week. Wash off in the morning and remember to apply spf. It has a slight itchy tingle factor upon application (as per a traditional glycolic). If you aren’t used to acids I’d start slow and do 1 night a week and work my way up to 3. I definitely noticed smoothing and brightening. I also love using on my hands elbows and heels. Highly recommended

(I had to stop after that because I felt like my skin was getting too dry, despite layering a moisturizer after this product.) I sometimes get weird little bumps on my lower cheeks, and I think it was this cream that made those bumps less pronounced and my face smoother overall. I'm not fond of the smell but it doesn't bother me either. No perfume-y fragrance and no essential oils/natural fragrance. I wish that there was a spatula included, because it would have been more sanitary of course, but also because it would have helped with controlling how much product I scooped up. . .
