The mask was easy to apply and very easy to spread. Did not need a thick layer, just a thin layer. Once you aplly it to your face the cooling begins and last for quite awhile. Dries nicely and easy to remove. After affects of this mask are great ans leaves your skin refreshed and almost feels like you had a massage on your face. Like all the blood is pumping to every inch of your skin. Would recommend for all skin types. This peel off mask from Chico Y Chica comes in a 100 gram squeeze tube and is a gentle exfoliator that claims to cool down your skin heat to soothe and tighten pores. The product comes out as a blue robin’s egg color and is a sticky consistency that you spread out thinly over your skin. Once done applying, the directions say to wait for 30 minutes for the product to dry (mine dried in about 20 min.) and then the peeling can begin. The masking experience was a tingly sensation as there is some sort of menthol ingredient in the product (the cooling effect?) and the general scent is of a minty fragrance that kind of reminded me of mint flavored toothpaste. The peeling of the mask came off fairly easily even with my thin application which is great since it allows you to quickly proceed on with the rest of your skin products and routine.

I enjoy peel off masks since they can be really effective when added to a skincare routine. I am always cautious since sometimes they can be very harsh. I am happy to say the Cool Night Peel-off Mask was not harsh and worked well for my skin. It has a cool minty sensation when on your face. This mask will be perfect for summertime as a nice relaxation at the end of a long hot day. It has a minty scent so if your a fan of mint you will enjoy this mask. The mask was a little difficult to get out of the tube and I should have used a brush to apply but I didn't have one close by so I used my fingers to apply. I applied the mask and left on until I felt it tighten up on my face. The peelng process was easy and my face did not become irritated when it was being removed which is a good sign for a peel off mask. I used micellar water to remove the last couple of spots that had a little residue of the mask left. My face looked really brightened and refreshed after using it. Peel off masks are not for everyone but if you enjoy them this is one to try out for sure.

CHICA Y CHICO Cool night peel off mask claims to cool down skin temperature, sooth troubled skin, tighten pores, exfoliates, and cleans. The cooling effect is from Peppermint and Spearmint as soon as it is applied and calming and soothing is from the aloe vera leaf and green tea extract. The peel off type mask also removes dead skin cells and removes sebum. Peel off masks are my favorite type of masks because they come off easily and little to no clean up is necessary. This mask is packed with a lot of ingredients that are synthetic and in my opinion, and EWG Skin deep, not safe for use due to allergies and risk of contamination for certain ingredients with toxic and carcinogenic properties. While good ingredients are included some enhance absorption of the bad ingredients and my safety is my personal concern and I would never recommend this mask to anyone. 💋 New Product Review: Chica y Chico Cool Night Peel-Off Mask . 💋 First Impressions: Very pretty packaging and a nice large size. . 💋 Manufacturer’s Info: Cool Night Peel Off Mask cools down the skin, so that it is soothed and the pores are tightened. It both exfoliates and cleans the skin. I see alcohol three in the list of ingredients, but it does have a lot of good ingredients like centella and aloe. A full list if ingredients can be found in the Urban Outfitters website where they sell this for $18. . 💋 Directions: Apply a thin layer and leave on for about 20-30 minutes. Once the mask is dry, gently peel it off starting with an edge. . 💋 Review: Firstly, I just love peeling masks. It’s just so satisfying isn’t it? I had a bit of time working this into my floors with the silicone brush I was using and once it thickens it’s hard to cover over to get any missing pores. This mask gets cold - really cold. So, cold in fact, that I made a mental note to myself that this would be best used in the summer. However, I hung in there an it warmed up a bit. I used more product than I thought I should need to get good coverage, so I’m not sure how many more uses I’ll get out of it. Peeling it up kinda hurt a bit! Chica Y Chico Cool Night Peel Off Mask (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) I am a fan of peel off masks as I have very oily skin, so once I saw this COOLING peel off with all the mints, I was all over it. I run hot all the time, so even in the dead of winter, I love cooling products! This has sugar can extract in it, which is a natural AHA for exfoliating, along with soothing ingredients such as centella, green tea & aloe. This also has several times of mint ~ wild mint, spearmint, peppermint, apple mint and lemonbalm ~ which is great for oily skin. It not only cools down and provides a tingling feeling, but acts as an astringent. Yes, this has alcohol, but I have yet to try a peel off mask that doesn't contain alcohol. This is to help thin the formula and allow it to dry down better. This is a thick aqua-emerald colored gel, very dense to get out of the tube, but it spreads easily on my face. It is purposely this dense to allow it to adhere closely and tightly to the skin, even when it is hot and humid outside. It also has a nice strong mint scent and it is very cooling on my skin. Not freezing, but refreshingly cool and nice. I recommend doing a medium thickness on your skin, as too thin ~ you won't be able to peel it off properly and too thick ~ it will take forever to dry. . . After 20 minutes, I just lifted up one side and then just pulled away ~ it didn't come off in one piece, but it was very easy to remove and I only had to do some cleanup around areas where the mask was thinner. I noticed that it did pull some clogs out of my skin (last slide so avoid that if you don't want to see) and my skin looks less congested, fresh, it did have an astringent benefit on my pores and my skin doesn't feel stripped or dry. I received the Cool Night Peel-off Mask by CHICA Y CHICO at a discounted price of $3.99 Right off I noticed the bright green color of the mask product and the minty smell as I begin to squeeze it out of the the sealed bottle. The mask feels light on my skin and dries really fast leaving my face feeling soft, cool, light and much more tight. Talk about a cooling effect, this mask is amazing for leaving your face with a icy cool sensation and would be great for summertime. It leaves your skin clean and free from all the stress of the day and gives you smaller pores and that is what I expect from a mask. I left mine on for about 20 minuets, but I am going to tell you that I really didn’t want this mask off my face. That’s weird because usually I am watching and waiting for the time to hurry up and get over. This mask does everything I need a peel-off mask to do. I usually discuss all of the claims & benefits first, but will discuss what I thought about it first. 💙. ❄️ Caution: I tend to be wary, or scared of “Peel-Off” Masks because several times they Really hurt coming off! Because of that, I’ll usually apply on my less sensitive areas of my face; for head, nose, and chin. This is generally where the T-zone is anyway, and best for pore-clearing. ❄️ Chilling: As I applied a thin, but not too thin layer; I felt the “cooling” sensation right away! talk about cool...my face was freezing i thought i was in someone's deep freezer but my pores sure did close up pretty tight lol smells a bit minty peel off process sure reminded me that i need to shave my face asap..lol very soft after felt like i didnt need any moisturizer, but i did anyways

I really have this mask as the saying goes, "A Run For The Money". I currently have some skin issues which has caused me to have very sensitive skin, so I have been really afraid to use a peel-off mask of any kind, but a review is due for this product, and what do we beauty/skin care product lovers do? We get the job done, especially when our honest reviews are due!!! This peel off mask has the coolest turquoise color to it. It smells like mint toothpaste. It is very easy to apply. The directions say to apply a thin layer and let dry for 20-30 minutes. I found this to work out very well. My mask felt so good and the longer it's on you can feel a cooling minty sensation on your face. Of course it tightens up and makes it hard to move your facial muscles. The mask dried in about 20 minutes and taking it off was fairly easy. I did have some places where it didn't feel the best. These places being where I had the most peach fuzz on my face. It took those fine hairs with it so I love that😁! I think this mask is better suited for younger skin and not aging skin as I have. I just don't know if the pulling of mature skin is the best. This mask was fun. My face felt very soothed and smooth after removal. I would recommend this for young people! 💙💙💙Cool Night Peel Off Mask 💙💙💙💙💙💙 I recieved this product from 0.8l for my honest review. I applied this mask three times before leaving this review and I absolutely love it . When I first applied it, I noticed its thick and tacky texture. As soon as I finished applying it , the mask started to cool my face. It took about 25 min to dry . Once it dried I was nervous that it would be a painful peel but it was not. It left my skin moisturized and my pores did look visibly smaller . The scent is also wonderful and refreshing. I would recommend this mask to anyone who wants smaller pores and who needs a nightly mask to exfoliate their skin. This cool night #peeloffmask is so different from any other peel off type masks I’ve ever used before. It has a sensation of minty coolness. It feels like it tightened my skin a bit. It dries out quickly as long as I use thin layer. Color is minty green so I looked silly haha. It peeled off easily without pulling my skin so I was happy with that. It reminded me of my childhood when I used glue on my hand and peeled it...😂 but it has glue like tacky texture. I like it so far and didn’t irritate my skin.

As noted below in my 7 day routine details, this was used on the 3rd night after a 12 minute 50% lactic acid chemical peel. Initial post-peel sting was fully gone, and skin was into recovery/healing stage. The 3rd day for me is when I start to get a bit of flaky dry skin slough off, so a peel off mask is usually a good choice at that stage. I reached for this one as it promised cooling & soothing, which sounded lovely. In reality, it may have been a bit overly intense at first. The minty, menthol cooling is quite strong, and the scent is prominent as well, but not unpleasant. I love mint teas, incense, oils and such already, so I found that aspect favorable to my tastes. As the peel dries, the intensity of the cooling subsides, and after 3 or 4 minutes it was at an intensity more to my liking. Of course, this was just a few days post peel, and I dont really think it would have been 'too much' if I was using it on normal skin. This mask was fully dry after about 25 minutes, and it peeled off cleanly and without residue or irritation. Skin was left noticeably smoother and indeed felt soothed and calmer than prior to use. I will definitely finish this mask, and will consider repurchasing, though I think it will be relegated to a day 4 post acid peel mask instead of day 3 use.
