I have never tried any modelling mask before this despite the hype recently. Derma bell is the first I tried. I choose the rose version as I had full skin which wasn’t particularly serious but it’s one problem I would like to eliminate. Who doesn’t want to have a better skin right? Theres a cooling sensation and the gels is super hydrating even after setting. Surprisingly, it’s easy to remove. And unlike sheet mask, it doesn’t cling onto your skin if you accidentally left it on more than the recommended time. As for the scent, it was not particularly strong but you can definitely smell the scent of rose. My skin felt hydrated and brighter after use, definitely more glow now and my pores seems to have minimise a little. However, it’s a bit regretful that I wasn’t able to find the full ingredient list that was listed according to US or KR standard so I was unsure if artificial fragrance or essential oil was being use. Hence, people with sensitive skin should totally watch out.

Received a DERMABELL Premium Modeling Gel Mask Kit, Proplis Modeling Mask. Love the lovely scent. Its a jelly type of mask where I got to mix the gel and powder together in a given black tray. Apply on the face with a given plastic spatula and wait till it dries. Somehow the mask is easy to apply at the beginning, after some time it turns lumpy, so if you are using it, apply as fast as you can before it dries up on the tray. After it dried on the face, it is very easy to peel the soft mask off, leaving my skin with abundance of moisture. Too much fun to miss!! This premium modelling mask is taking masking routine to a whole new level. Unlike the usual sheet masks the contents leaves my skin very hydrated even after 30 minutes and doesn’t feel dry at all. After mixing the 2 ingredients together, blend it all over face. Provides a soothing effect and has great pleasant fragrance. Very generous amount in 1 pack so you can also spread it around the neck. It’s been a long time since my skin feels baby soft and this mask just did that 😍 Leaves skin feeling taut and pores visibly tighten. Not recommended for those who don’t find FUN in masking. Premium Perilla Modelling Mask from @dermabellofficial_en is a special gel type mask, which adheres to the face contours. . Mix Step 1 & Step 2 together in the tray, apply the mixture onto the face. Leave on for 20 minutes & rinse off. It does not drip so i can still perform other tasks during the wait. . It soothes sensitive & inflamed skin, and strengthens the skin barrier at the same time. I find that my skin was somewhat firmer as well after use. Definitely something that i’ll continue to use.

Easy to use. mixed the 2 given sachets and put on the face. feel cooling with sweet smell upon application. mask can be easily peeled off like a jelly after use. feel refresh, smooth on face after use.

Finally the long awaited modeling mask has arrived! The propolis mask is yellow is color and has a pleasant honey smell. Before reviewing the effects, just to let you know my skin is hypersensitive and extremely dry type. After trying out the mask, the reddish color on my skin has immediately disappear, pores are smaller, skin has slight glossy look, skin is much more hydrated and the hydration is long lasting (up to 3 days from the time I have used the mask) like next 2 days I have only used moisturiser but my skin continues to be very hydrated and smooth). Unlike paper masks which the hydration only lasts for 30 minutes and the reddishness of my skin doesn’t go away. If comparing Dermabell modeling gel mask and other modeling mask brands that I have tried, Dermabell modeling mask sets much faster, I can sit up, watch tv, use phone and etc. Unlike other brands which takes forever to set and which forces me to lie down completely if not it will become messy business, mask can flow to my ear, neck, shirt and even the sofa, I really don’t want to recall how troublesome it was to clean up :(. Also tried modelling powder mask but it wasn’t very hydrating, hydration lasts about half a day and doesn’t give me the very hydrated skin feeling. Tips: As the mask sets fast, after squeezing out the gel into the mixing bowl/tray, quickly mix in the magic powder thoroughly and lather on thickly on your face area by area (e.g. forehead then cheek and etc) quickly. If too slow, the remaining mask will set in the mixing bowl/tray which you will not be able to use as it becomes lumpy, solid and will not stick to your face = wastage.
