Mother Made Deep Moisturizing Rich Snail Mask. A facial mask enriched with natural moisturizing ingredients such as Snail Filtrate Extract, Lactobacillus Extract, etc. deeply hydrated and makes the skin feel soft and smooth for a long time. Cupra (Long Fiber) mask sheet made out of soft downy hair of cotton seeds is great for tight adherence to the skin. It provides lightweight and soft feeling to the skin. Containing deep moisturizing ingredients such as Ceramides, Hyaluronic acid, Allantoin, Lecithin, one sheer of rich snail mask is great for long lasting hydration to the skin. 🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌 Have I mentioned I love SNAIL SLIME? My first experience was with a Tony Moly mask that had snail extract in it. And I loved it. Now, I have a few snail skincare items! This mask is from a brand called Mother Made, and I'm glad I gave them a shot! Other than snail filtrate, there's also ceramides and hyaluronic acid. I'd repurchase. Along with most of anyone who is even slightly knowledgeable on current skincare, I love anything with snail mucin involved. In a sea of sheet masks it doesn't take much for me to be satisfied with the experience. The mask has to fit a least decently well so I'm able to breath and see without issue. Bonus points if the material is of high enough quality that I can walk around and multitask (multimask? ohhh I Crack myself up). There needs to be enough serum for the mask to be satiated, preferably with some leftover for my arms and chest, this serum cannot be sticky! I hate taking a mask off and immediately getting grimy because my face is now a dirt magnet. After 15 minutes my face should feel soft, moisturized and with a healthy glow and this mask met all my expectations with flying colors. Although I have a literal pile of sheet masks to try before I even think about spending money on more, next time my skin is mad at me from over exfoliating or whatever new trend I've tried on it, this mask will be at the top.of the list of possible saviors.

The Mother Made Deep Moisturizing Snail Sheet Mask was moisturizing, but it did not fit well. The chin barely fit and the forehead was too small. The scent was a little citrusy and rather pleasant. Just kind of ok.

MotherMade Rich Snail Mask is deep moisturizing sheet mask. It claims to contain 5000 ppm of rich snail secretion filtrate packed with natural vitamins and minerals. Its key benefits is to stimulate collagen production, intensely moisturizes, improves skin texture and visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles. It claims to also minimize enlarged pores, reduce acne scars, and clears breakouts. It contains safe ingredients and is cruelty free. My first impressions of the mask is how drenched in serum it was. After putting it on my face, I noticed my skin got really itchy. I’m not sure what is causing the itchiness but it was a struggle to keep the mask on for the entire 15 minutes. I couldn’t bare to keep it on any longer as my face was constantly itching from the mask. I’ve never had this type of reaction to a sheet mask before so this is very new to me that a mask isn’t as soothing or calming as it normally should be. My skin was completely drenched in serum so it did take a while to absorb. The sheet mask itself was still completely drenched in serum, if it didn’t itch so much I may have used it on my neck too but considering how I barely could sit having it on for 15 minutes, I just threw it away. I seriously think it has something to do with the sheet mask because once I took off the sheet mask, my face wasn’t as itchy as it was when the mask was on. I can’t comment on any of benefits the mask claims to do. The only thing I do notice is that my skins elasticity had improved as well as how moisturized my face felt after using the mask. I do think this is probably a long term type of mask where you need to continue to use it constantly to see the benefits. Overall, this is the first sheet mask I would not repurchase. I don’t know how to tell you how horrible it felt to sit there for the minimum 15 minutes without constantly itching my face. It may also be an ingredient in the serum as my face is somewhat lightly itchy, but just not as itchy with the sheet mask still on. Who knows. I know its not the snail ingredient as I have used products that contain snail secretion filtrate before. But whatever it is, I am not going to be repurchasing this product nor would I use up the rest of the masks I received.

You might be thinking that snails are plucked from their natural habitats and forced to produce mucin, which eventually ends up in pretty packaging on store shelves. Or you might have assumed that snail mucin is artificially created in a petri dish and then mass produced to meet the high demand for snail mucin. The answer is none of the above. Read on for the scoop.  🐌Who collects the snail mucin? Cosmetics companies can be roughly divided into three categories: one that manufactures the raw materials, one that creates products using those materials, and lastly, one that sells the final products. Snail mucin is created by companies that make the raw materials, which in the case of Cosrx, one brand with popular snail products, is CoSeedBioPharm Co. Each manufacturer has its own know-how’s when it comes to collecting snail mucin, but what is common among them is the fact that they need to create an environment that’s comfortable for the snails and allow them have adequate rest to optimize mucin production.  SMD cosmetics, for example, keeps their snails under the care of farmers in Chile who, the brand says, “help the snails move at a slow rate to stimulate healthy and safe levels of secretion”. 🐌What kinds of snails are used? Because snail mucin products are applied topically, only edible snails are used in skin care products. Popular edible snail species are the Roman snail (Helix pomatia), the common ingredient for escargot, and its close relative the garden snail or petit-gris (Helix aspersa). Cosrx’s (not this company) mucin manufacturer uses another edible species called the giant African snail (Achatina fulica). They are larger, with shells that grow up to four inches in diameter, and their mucin has been tested to be safe for topical use. These snails are grown in captivity, since they are more sanitary than those found in the wild. 🐌How is snail mucin collected? For Cosrx products, snails are placed over a mesh net in a dark and quiet room. As nocturnal creatures, the snails prefer this environment. For about 30 minutes, the snails are left alone to freely roam the net, leaving mucin in their trails. Throughout the process, there is no external stress applied to the snails or the mesh net to force mucin production. This is due to two reasons. 🐌 First, animal testing is illegal in Korea, and animal abuse is a huge topic that has sparked many controversies. 🐌 Second, optimal mucin production occurs when snails are well-rested and comfortable in their habitat, which is why Cosrx’s manufacturer tries their best to 🐌make sure that the snails are healthy and comfortable. 🐌After 30 minutes, the snails are transferred back to their homes to rest and regain energy while the mucin is collected and processed for cosmetic use. 🐌The collected mucin is then processed to properly stabilize the product and make it suitable for cosmetic use before being sent over to Cosrx. (Or any company they are producing the mucin for) 🐌How does the quality of snail mucin differ among products? 🐌Insofar as Chondroitin sulfate is the main component of snail mucin, the general benefits of snail mucin are the same across the board. 🐌The real difference comes down to the formulation of the product; mainly what percentage of the product is snail mucin and what other ingredients are added to enhance the nutrient content. In the Mother Made Snail Mask the mucin is the 6th ingredient listed and it’s stated in the ingredients that it’s 5000 parts per million of mucin. I double checked my math on this through google and it comes down to these masks being .5% or 1/2 of 1% mucin. Not much when there are several products on the market in South Korea boasting between 62% and 96% mucin. My Thoughts: 🐌When I opened the mask I knew right away that it had an abundance of Essence because it was dripping on my countertop. 😬 While I appreciate that there is plenty of Essence, I really prefer that masks do not make a mess. The mask was reasonably well fitted for my face, but since I am always a busy bee while masking the chin kept falling down. I think I wore the mask a bit longer than the directions stated but when I removed the mask my skin was very wet with Essence. It took some tapping and gentle massaging to get it all absorbed, but when it was all absorbed, my skin was plump and hydrated. I love that this mask included Snail Secretion Filtrate (albeit very little) Adenosine, Ceramide 3, and Hyaluronic Acid. All are wonderful for your skin. This is a pleasant mask, but it doesn’t have much in the way of snail mucin considering it supposed to be a rich snail mask. Because of the low quantity of mucin, I felt a little tricked and did not feel it should get more than 3 stars. I'm trying to use any facial mask sheets 3 times a week thesedays. (Facial mask keeps my skin moist.) It was my first time try to this Rich Snail mask. One package came with 10 masks. It doesn't have any artificial scent. Thin and soft mask sheets hold liquid serum well. I like them!

This mask has been really nice to keep my skin fresh and glows! It is super moisturizing and I can’t stop using it to freshen up and plump my skin. It doesn’t break me out which is especially important for my sensitive acne-prone skin. The packaging is also super nice and really cute, and the mask is nicely saturated with essence. I would definitely recommend others to try out this mask!

I love anything snails, my skin LOVES it and so far, no snail product has disappointed. . . 🐌 Snail Secretion Filtrate is jam packed of Hyaluronic Acid, Pure water and other goodies that is beneficial to any skin type. The results you can expect are anti-aging, hydrating and moisturizing AF, calming and soothing. Snails are not harmed collecting their secretion. Which makes me one happy gal 😁😁 . . . 🐌 CONSTRUCTIVE: The mask didn't fit me well, as you can see in the second pic I had alot of bubbles, and lifting near my nose and eyes. I tried for over 5 minutes to put this mask on and I just couldn't get it to stop lifting. . . . 🐌 I noticed when I took off the mask (after 15-20 minutes) that the essence was gone. The mask felt very cottony and dry, where did all the essence go? MY SKIN! I had never experienced an (almost) dry mask after removing it. So, that was really cool. . . . 🐌 I recently started using a micro-dermabrasion needle roller, with introducing a new tool in my routine I didn't know which mask to use. 🐌The first thing I noticed when I applied this mask was a very strange smell. I can't describe it. It didn't smell like chemicals or alcohol it was just odd. However, the mask did adhere to my face very well. I easily could look down and walk around and the mask wouldn't fall off. It does have a lot of essence. The mask lasted 20 to 25 minutes until it was just about dried out🐌 🐚After taking the mask off and please keep in mind that I do have oily/sensitive skin I immediately felt my face feeling a bit hot. This has happened with a few other masks before, it must be an ingredient that my skin doesn't like. Unfortunately, it also left my face feeling incredibly sticky. I waited for 5 minutes, then 10, after 15 minutes my face was still sticky. It didn't feel moisturized or hydrated. In fact, it felt like the essence was sitting on top of my skin and didn't soak in. I wanted to wash off the essence because my face was so sticky but instead I applied my nighttime skincare routine. I love sheetmask so I'm always excited to try and review it for you guys. Product Details ■5000ppm of snail secretion filtrate packed with anti-aging, minerals, vitamins, and collagen ■Collagen production and anti-wrinkle properties. ■ Cruelty-free and great for sensitive skin ■It also contains ceramide 3, ginseng, and ferments. My Thoughts This is a one of a kind mask that is suitable for my oily acne-prone sensitive skin. I appreciate that the brand didn't include fragrance in this sheetmask since I hate it when my skincare products are fragrant. I found the sheetmask a perfect fit to my face and it adheres well on staying put. I put this on for about 15 minutes and my skin pretty much absorbed most of the essence even though there was a lot of extra essence. The finish wasn't tacky and sticky so that's a good thing. I think this is a great sheetmask for everyday use.

I received the Mother made deep moisterizing snail mask at a discounted price in return for my honest review. I was very excited to receive 10 masks for $3.99. The mask upon application are very lubricated. Be careful when opening them because some of the productt may drip out of the package. The mask does provide a very saturated, cool, and moistened feeling. 😇 I felt a little tingling shortly after applying a mask, but no irritation was noted. The mask does do its job of providing very good moisture to your skin. I did notice some improvement in some areas that are usually dry. I did notice a slight film left on my face after removal. I didn’t see it , but my face felt sort of pasty. Thanks for the opportunity of trying this product.

My skin feels so much softer after using and it doesn't effect my spray tan which is a bonus (to.me anyways.) Definitely glad I received this and can see myself purchasing more.

After Cleansing and toning I applied the Sheet Mask for 15 minutes while I folded laundry and watched Imposters on Netflix. After removing the Sheet Mask I gently pat my skin to enhance absorption of the remaining product. It took about 3 minutes to fully absorb and left my skin soft and moisturized. The Sheet Mask was made of ultra thin soft cotton and adhered very well. Ingredients included Snail Secretion Filtrate, Adenosine, Ceramide 3, and Hyaluronic Acid. The Sheet Mask was very enjoyable and the pack of 10 retails for $18.99 on Amazon.
