I was very surprised when first started using this. From the bottle, it looks really thick and sticky but once I applied it to my face, it was smooth and felt very hydrating. It absorbs into my skin fast and leaves it feeling a bit tacky.

The Hyaluron Shot has seven different weights of hyaluronic-acid in it and also contains Ceramides as well. Hyaluronic Acid is a great short term ingredient to help plump your skin with moisture. We all know it's a great ingredient. This also contains Niacinamide and Adenosin for the skin whitening effect. Although it seems my face is getting tan even with loads of sunscreen is this Georgia weather and we have just begun with the hotter season. This serum works very nicely. If you use just a few drops it doesn't leave a sticky feeling and works well with all my other layers. I really like this one. Then the peptide Ampoule is such a unique one. It has three different peptides. You can see the peptide strands and they absorb into the skin. I have talked about this one before. It does contain alcohol and I can smell it, but it doesn't irritate or dry out my skin and I like the affect that this has on my skin. Did you know there are 7 types of hyaluronic acid (HA) and they all have different functions? HA is everywhere these days. When I got the chance to try Ample:N Skincare Hyaluron Shot Light Ampoule and they advertised their product as having all 7 types of HA I knew it was time to learn more. What I have found is the molecules of the different forms vary in size and that determines if the product sinks below the skin or sits on top to act as a moisture barrier. There is some controversy one whether the small, low molecular weight (LMW) HA is good, bad, or just a marketing gimmick, so I will be keeping an eye on any new research coming out. We are all likely familiar with HA being able to attract moisture up to 1000x its own weight, but did you know if you have dry skin this could be bad because it can draw the moisture from your skin? The best way to avoid drying skin out even more is to apply HA twice daily while skin is still damp. I have started mixing it with my moisturizer to make sure I am getting the most benefit. So what about this product specifically? Their claims: -Attracting moisture in the air and retaining it inside skin by forming a barrier -"Supporting the circulation of moisture inside the skin" and bringing it to the surface, allowing it to fill skin gaps. * * * My experience is that this product is unscented, applies easily with a dropper for targeted application, and absorbs quickly without any residue or stickiness. I will be watching for research on LMW HA and adjusting my usage based on what I find. For now, I will stick with using this twice daily on damp skin with moisturizer applied. Was hesitant at first to try an oil based product but I have been using it once to twice a day since receiving it and I would say that has definitely helped with keeping my face moisturized. When I wake up, my face is no longer covered in a slick layer of oil that my own face produced. Smells somewhat like Listerine but it’s extremely light. A little goes a long way and I use it mixed with another moisturizer just to make sure that I don’t concentration too much in one area of my face. Thoroughly enjoyed testing this product out for my honest review and will continue to use it - it’s now one of my new favorite items!

This serum contains 7 versions of hyaluronic acid. I have no idea if 7 is better than 1, but you can count them all yourself in the ingredients list in the second photo. HA is one of my favorite skincare ingredients. It's an effective humectant, which means that it attracts moisture from its environment. This serum works like I would expect a good HA serum to work, making my skin feel softer, plumper, and hydrated. It has a slight herbal scent, but it's very faint, and I can't smell it once it has been applied to my face. It's a fairly thick serum and feels a bit sticky, so I prefer to layer another product like moisturizer or suncreen over it. It got along well with my other products, and I found that my makeup applied particularly nicely on top of the serum (+ other usual daily products). It did leave my skin a little "dewier" than I would prefer, however, so I'd rather use it at night. Could be fantastic for dry skin, though!
