Good evening everyone! 💕 Tonight I'm reviewing the Real Barrier Aqua Brightening Mask. Having the sensitive skin that I do, in addition to Rosacea, I've become a big Real Barrier fan! They formulate many of their products for those with sensitive, dry skin. This mask came in a box of 5 that is retailing on YesStyle.com at the moment for $14.18 USD. This mask claims to transform dull, dry skin into healthy, radiant, glowing skin. It's a brightening, moisturizing, and nourishing sheet mask. It contains a vitamin complex that contains 10 different kinds of vitamins, along with Glutathione (a core ingredient used for dermatological treatment for skin brightening, to recover the skin's natural clear state and ultimately reveal a healthier looking skin tone and texture). This hydrating mask restores moisture levels in the skin, while the fine, pearly milk essence is formulated with AQUAXYL, which contains 5 different forms of hyaluronic acids to improve dull skin complexion caused by dryness by delivering moisture to every layer of the skin. AQUAXYL (Xylitol +Anhydroxylitol) work together to balance oil and water in the skin, transforming dry, dull, lifeless, and rough skin into hydrated, smooth, and brightened skin without leaving skin feeling stripped by moisturizing every single one of the skin's multiple layers. The mask itself is made from a skin-fitting sheet of 100% plant origin fiber. My thoughts: I was really impressed by this mask! The mask has a great fit, and feels like a 2nd skin, and there is lots of extra essence in the pouch to use on your neck, chest, or wherever you'd like! I followed the directions and left it on for the full 20 minutes after cleansing and toning (recommended time is 10-20 minutes). My face was a bit brighter, well hydrated, and my fine lines looked more diminished around my eyes. Real Barrier Aqua Brightening Mask 5ea is a try for a honest opinion. You get 5 in the pack. I left it on for 20 minutes. It tells you leave it on for 10-20 minutes. Once you take it off you massage the rest of the essence in your skin. I had a lot of essence left on my face. I massaged it in and it still took a long time to absorb. That's why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 rating. It seemed like hours later it still wasn't fully absorbed. I only got to use this mask once because I just received this last week.

The actual mask fit my face perfectly and didn't slide out of place any, which was a plus. I even stood the whole time I had it on. The next morning after using, my face still felt really soft and had a glow to it. I really enjoyed this mask and will be using again in the future. 🙌

Firstly, I was really excited to try this product! Who doesn’t love a face mask?! 😷💖 The smell of this mask is pretty nice; clean and sweet — just like any other mask. After cleansing and toning, I put on the mask for about 15-20 minutes and I can not be more pleased with the results of this mask. I have only used it once but I definitely cannot wait to use again. The mask had a bit of a warming sensation that I did not mind; signs that the mask is doing its job 😋 Unlike a lot of other masks, I really enjoyed patting the essence of this mask into my skin. It felt really good in a sense I knew it would be beneficial. After using this mask, I noticed my face was much tighter. The mask also made my face really smooth and glowy. The serum itself was slightly thick and milky with a light fresh minty scent gets lighter but still slightly noticeable while the mask was on my face. The mask fit ok and it felt really cooling when applied against my skin. There was so much serum left over inside the packaging that I ended up putting the rest on my arms and legs. After leaving it on for 20 minutes, the mask still felt super drenched in serum that I ended up applying the mask on my neck to not waste any product. Definitely a hydrating, “brightening” mask in the sense that it leaves your skin glowing and dewy looking. As most sheet masks, this is really great for dry skin and normal skin alike, but I can’t attest for oily or sensitive. Comes with a generous amount of product inside each packet that can be saved for later use! :^) Instructions are clear and written for most efficient usage and the description is accurate.

I got to try real barrier aqua brightening mask 5piece from 08liter. I have had the pleasure of trying this brand before but this is my first time using the aqua brightening sheet mask. I LOVED it. The essence/serum is a very milky texture and color, almost like a serum lotion. The mask looked wrinkly on me but I'm not amazing at applying sheet masks, although I constantly smooth over and massage them. It didn't leave a sticky residue, my skin just felt moisturized and bright. Brightening products are my favorite. who wants dull skin? some sheet masks seem like they are only drenched in water but not this mask, it truly packed a punch to my face. But a good punch. OH I forgot to mention, my skin is super sensitive to most products right now because I am adjusting to a retinoid treatment. I'm happy to say this mask was gentle and did not burn me!

As per the manufacturer, this Brightening Sheet Mask illuminates dull skin leaving behind a beautiful dewy glow. Also, it is jam packed with vitamins and Hyaluronic Acid making it very Hydrating to the skin . I cleansed, toned my skin and reached for the sheet mask . When I opened the mask, it was enveloped in this milky white Essence. I applied the mask and it was perfect fit for my face. I left it on for 20 minutes and my face had a lot of this milky white essence on it . I massaged and patted it in . I have to say I was skeptical whether the mask would deliver . Boy was I surprised. This mask is a medium weight sheet with a white milky essence. The sheet had a nice fit and clung well. There is a very mild fragrance of which I'm not sure what it is , but its pleasant. It did burn on a couple of pimples I had but otherwise was fine. Absorbed well and had no tackiness when it dried. My face did indeed seem brighter and moisturized. I would recommend this and think with continued use I will see even more brightening. I received this for a small fee and a review.

After removing, I found this mask to be very soothing and helped to remove dullness. It’s also extremely hydrating and it’s not at all irritating despite having a very strong fragrance. I think this is still a problem for people who sensitive skin and noses. But I would recommend this to people with dull to very dull skin. What I like: this mask is amazing at soothing redness and removing dullness. The ingredients are all very nourishing and nutrient-rich. It’s also very hydrating and really feels very high quality like the other Real Barrier masks. What I don’t like: the fragrance is pretty strong and it may be a deterrent to using it. Otherwise a very solid mask. Rating: 9.5/10

I love how Real Barrier continues to make new masks for sensitive skin! The brand itself is very hypoallergenic and so far I’ve had zero breakouts from using their product. Okay now onto the review for this specific product. I love the simple aesthetics of the packaging. You can definitely see that the essence would be milky just by looking at the three droplets coming from the dropper. Right when you open, you’re greeted with a scent of lavender (yes, lavender oil is the last ingredient in the ingredients list). Although I don’t like the smell of lavender, it’s not super overpowering. The essence itself is milky and more emulsion-like. Did not leave any sticky residue or an oily film. It all absorbed into my skin fairly nicely. The sheet is silky soft, and stays out nicely. I accidentally got some in my eye while I was adjusting the mask and it didn’t sting my eye (my eye isn’t as sensitive as some other people but mask essences do tend to be a bit sting-ey) So far I’ve tried 3 different Real Barrier masks and have no complaints. Definitely recommend for people with dull and dry and sensitive skin!!
