The team at Mother Made is very interactive here on Instagram and I really appreciate that a lot. . 🐾 First the ingredients: “Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Ethylcellulose, Charcoal Powder (10,000ppm), Silica, Papain, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Maltodextrin” . 🐾 What it’s does: Gently Exfoliates, Removes excess oils and dirt, Pore Cleansing, Soothing . 🐾 How to use: Dispense a quarter-sized amount of powder into a wet hand. I talk a lot about skincare, but I don't know if I have ever talked about a cleanser to you guys. How we clean our skin is just as important as the products we use to maintain our moisture barrier. There are so many different types of cleansers out there anymore it's so hard to even choose the type you need. It really all depends on the type of skin you have, same with any skin-care product. But I think I'll save the skincare 101 for a later post if any of you are interested. ⁣ ⁣ Today though I'm going to show you something that's new to me when it comes to skincare. Have you guys ever seen a powdered cleanser before? I've came across a couple. This one is the Mother Made Active Charcoal Enzyme Powder Wash. (They really like to give these long names don't they?) ⁣ ⁣ It's pretty straightforward, like the name says, it's a natural bamboo charcoal powder with papaya enzymes. When you add water it creates a slight foamy texture to remove blackheads and minimize large pores. One other thing you can do with it is add a little bit more of the powder with some water and use it as a mask. I like to use leftover Essence from sheet masks and mix with it. I leave it on my T-Zone for a few minutes and wash it off. ⁣ ⁣ So far I really like this cleanser, but I have dry/ combination skin in the summer so I tend to only use this in my T-Zone where I get clogged pores. If I use this on the outer portion of my face too often I noticed that my face dries out a little too much. It is made of charcoal which can be drying, so I think this product would be excellent for those of you with oiler skin. It really does a fantastic job of unclogging pores though.⁣ ⁣ This product retails for $21.49 USD and you get 55g of product. ⁣ ⁣ I received this product for my honest review and opinion from 0.8liter ⁣

Love using Mother Made active charcoal Enzyme Powder Wash I loved the deep pore cleansing but it was very gentle on my face and loved the fact that it was cruelty free and no harsh surfactants

Been wanting to try an activated charcoal powder and this was awesome. It was fun mixing the powder with water to activate and apply it to the face. I like that you have control of how much or how little you can pour. It feels nice on the face and the smell isn’t bad or does it stay on the face. 💚Mothermade Active Charcoal Enzyme Powder Wash: This is legit like charcoal powder! Charcoal is the ingredient that helps clean the oil and dirt in your pores. I this product specifically, it’s is bamboo charcoal which claims to also minimize pores. There is also papaya enzymes which helps with getting rid of the dead skin cells (which refines skin texture) and aloe which helps hydrate the skin! I really love that it’s a powder because it like shows that it’s natural since it’s basically the actual charcoal itself! When using this, it is very gentle to the skin and after washing it off, it was not drying at all! It had the feeling of the skin being cleaned but also at the same time, your skin doesn’t feel like it’s life has been sucked out of it. My pores feels nice and smooth. I’m not sure about minimizing ? I just think that no matter what, my pores are still visible haha. The only issue I have is not really the product but like how to use it. It’s totally because of me. I’m not sure about the ratio of charcoal and water to use. When I use it, it’s more like a mud mask texture than a cleansing foam. But like either way, the product works well! ❣️4/5

I was sent the Mother Made Active Charcoal Enzyme Powder Wash free in exchange for an honest review. I used this after an oil cleanser and before toning and moisturizing my skin nightly. This cleanser is amazing! It comes out of the bottle as granules but with a few drops of water it turns into the most gentle foam ever. I used on my skin a few nights in a row and it proved to be a little too cleansing for me but I love how gentle it is. Right now I am using retinoids and I need a cleanser that will remove the skin I shed in the process and still be gentler than an acid. Using this two times a week keeps my skin clean and clear... The fact that it is in powder for makes it great for travel, too.

MOTHER MADE ACTIVE CHARCOAL ENZYME POWDER WASH is mainly for combination and oily skin. I chose it because it claims to remove deep down dirt and grime, something I suffer from during the hot, sweaty summer months in the South. I also have several farm animals, so I am outside daily in my goat and pig pens as well as chicken coop. It also claims to remove blackheads that for some reason I have had on my nose for what seems like an eternity. It's extremely low irritating so it's suitable for even sensitive skin. With the power of activated bamboo charcoal and papaya enzymes for healthier and brighter skin, it's worked great for me so far. I was also very impressed with how the powder turned into a barely noticeable light gray color on my face, rinsed easily and what I thought would be a charcoal disaster in my sink, was not. The middle section of pictures are all with the product on! I don't want to forget to note how little product is needed and how much is provided. With a retail price of merely $21.49 it just can't be beat! 5 stars all the way! 💙Review Time💙I received a 1.94oz bottle of the Mother Made Active Charcoal Enzyme Powder Wash through @0.8l_usa for free in exchange for my review. After cleansing and toning I mixed a few drops of water with a quarter sized amount of the powder and applied it to my tzone when the mixture became a foamy lather. I massaged the mixture into my tzone for a minute then rinsed with water. The combination of charcoal and papaya enzymes was mildly exfoliating and pore cleansing. The Powder retails for $19.95 at Amazon.
