Sunwoonsan Wild Flower Tea Magnolia loose bulb tea. Now that I’m older I tend to drink more tea than coffee and loving them without added honey or sweetener. So when I saw this from 08liter I have to get it. But they’re going to send you random tea and I got Magnolia, I was hoping to get the Chrysanthemum. The first time I tried this I’m not a fan it was nutty, woody taste not okay for my tea but after that first not so good attempt I was liking it. I’ve been trying it since I got it. I placed 2-3 bulbs on my cup and add some hot water. I’ve tried once with my grain syrup but I prefer my unsweetened version. It still have that nuttiness but it doesn’t bother my taste buds anymore. I wish it has more flowery taste. These organic flowers where harvested from Sunwoon Mountain in Korea. This is my first time trying Korean tea. Would recommend.

I received the wildflower tea in Beach Rose. It comes in a glass jar and contains 10 grams (0.35 oz) and has a very nice fragrance, it's slightly sharp and floral. If you enjoy roses then this will be perfect. The flowers are harvested when their scents are most fragrant and they are steamed and dried. Recommended use is to place an appropriate amount of flowers in a teapot with filter. Add 3 small flowers and 1 to 2 flowers in 180cc (6.08 oz) of water. Pour boiling water into the teapot and watch the flowers bloom. Use boiling water at 100C (212F) and drink after 2-3 minutes. What I like: this tea is very fragrant and smooth, I love roses so this was a great option to try. It's pleasant to drink and I didn't notice any bitterness or sourness. It's a great tea for people partial to flowery teas and it's also very hydrating and rose is typically great for helping to add a glow to the skin. Overall it's a great tea. What I don't like: nothing really, it doesn't give as strong a flavor as I would like, but it's still great. Rating: 9.5/10

It was a random selection and I received Rose which is one of my favorite tea. The tea comes in a sealed glass jar. The jar is really pretty and the rose flowers look amazing. I could smell the beautiful scent of rose when I opened and it smells really fresh. I put three large flowers into the tea infuser. It was a good amount and the taste was delicious. The tea really taste so fresh and I am very glad I was able to try this out!

I received Rosa rugosa. The flower tea came with a sturdy glass jar. It is so pretty. It can be good gift to anybody. Smell so good and taste so good! Love to see pretty flowers in my cup.

UNWOONSAN Wild Flower Tea (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) This is absolutely beautiful & it tastes great! @Sunwoonsan Flower Tea harvests their organic flowers from Sunwoon Mountain, Korea ~ the morning time is the best time, as their flavor & scent is at its peak. The flowers are picked thru to remove any dirt, dried & then steamed. They offer chrysanthemum, cherry blossom, rosa multi-flora, magnolia, acacia, rosa rugosa, green tea, Chinese redbud, plum blossom, peach blossom & cockscomb (celosias). I received Chrysanthemum & it is stored in this lovely glass jar with a decorative paper label which looks like a water color painting. The flowers are intact & not broken ~ Sunwoonsan's method of drying them seems to ensure that the blooms stay pretty in the jar & when you make the tea. Just add hot boiling water to 3-5 blooms per cup ~ you can use a infuser or put the blooms directly in your cup. Within a few minutes, I got a pale yellow liquid with a lovely delicate aroma ~ the tea taste was so refreshing ~ even on a hot humid day!! Its' taste is naturally sweet with a light herbal note... Why drink chrysanthemum tea? It is full of vitamin A & C & it can help you fall asleep. It helps with reducing stress, aids in digestion, boosts your metabolism, eases headaches, can help heal blemishes, cold sores & rashes as it is an anti-inflammatory & if you have high blood pressure or cholesterol, it aids in reducing that. . . I really enjoyed drinking my tea with the flowers!! I would be interested in trying other ones, like the plum, peach & Chinese redbud. Sunwoonsan wild flower teas are cultivated directly in Jeonbuk Gochang, a Unesco Biosphere Reserve; this beautiful tea is handmade, one by one; flowers are collected, screened to remove foreign materials and then dried.  I randomly got the Magnolia tea; beautiful, big flower pods in such simple and stunning container. Now, to be honest I was scared because I am not a fan of the scent of this flower, for me is strong and not very appealing, but in tea form is another thing. The dried pods have an almost nutty scent to it mixed with the floral smell of the flower. To my surprise the tea is not super flowery like the actual flower, but is smooth, still nutty, a hint of the magnolia and is a beautiful bright yellow liquid. I really enjoyed this tea, very soothing and only 2-3 pods is enough to make it strong or you can use less and then build up. If you are a tea lover, check Sunwoonsan wild flower teas.

SSUNWOONSAN Wild Flower Tea is absolutely the most beautiful and aromatic tea I've ever had the pleasure to drink. I was lucky enough to be sent the Rosa Rugosa. This tea had me at the fragrance alone and at the first sip, I was hooked. I am an avid coffee drinker but when 08L came out with teas just over a year ago, I could not believe the difference between American and Korean teas. Korean teas are like art for your tastebuds, mind, body and soul. This particular set of Wild Flower Teas are meant to detoxify your body while delighting you with it's light scent. It does all this and more. This coffee drinker gives it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I will be definitely be purchasing this again and will make sure to try all the different flowers.

One thing about me is that I love tea. While most people get excited about coffee, I get excited about tea. Especially loose teas. I have a collection that I continue to add to every few years. I've always wanted to add flower teas to my collection and I am happy I got a chance to try this Chrysanthemum tea. The tea needs to be seeped in hot or warm water, trust me I tried with cold water. It releases a beautiful herbal aroma and gives water a slight taste. It's not over powering. It taste like herbal tea. I prefer my teas unsweetened, but feel free to add honey, lemon or whatever additives you like to yours. Chrysanthemum tea is said to be good for relaxation, the heart, skin, vision, immune system and the list goes on. Here's to great health, Enjoy!
