Hi everyone! This is the Aprilskin Real Calendula Peeling Pad 120g. It retails around $22.00. This product is a daily moisture hypoallergenic peeling pad made from an embossing fabric filled with petals and essence from a calendula flower. The calendula provides a soothing and relaxing sensation for those with dry/sensitive skin due to environmental factors. This product is alcohol free/EWG green grade. These pads create a layer of moisture over the skin and without irritation the pads remove makeup, dirt, dead skin cells, and residue. I really love this product! I have always wanted to try pads like these so I was really excited when this product arrived! A jar of peeling pads saturated in candelula treatment. A luxurious package that displays the product in a translucent hard plastic dish. One side of the pad is used to remove dirt and excess pollutants from the skin, whereas the adjacent side has a serum to reduce redness and clean the skin thoroughly. Works incredibly well for cleaning the face, even is able to remove makeup deposits that may have been missed in initial washing. The toning side feels wonderful on the skin after the first step, and makes a huge impact on the senses with tingling as it unclogs pores. As advised, the remaining serum can be patted into the skin for additional treatment. It smells great and does moisturize the face. It does exactly what it claims and I love that! So to be honest quite a few months back this was the very first product I received for free to review from 0.8L. I loved it then and I still love it. It really helps a lot when I have breakouts o. my face. The pimples heal faster and I can see a difference overnight. I have actually been using them for over a week and I love them!! They smell amazing and leave your skin feeling fresh and clean!! They are used to exfoliate your skin getting rid of makeup and dirt and moisturizing your skin in the process!! So I used these amazing little pads like it says too. After washing and drying my face I use these pads in substitute of my original toner, and I use the textured side first and then go over it again with the other side for any left over product, dirt or anything! Then I pat the rest of it into my skin until it’s almost dry. These are amazing tho!! I love the scent and the way the make my skin feel!! My skin hasn’t had any issues since using these!! I think I will switch from my regular toner, to these pads full time!! The last pic is a pic of my skin after using these for a week!! They are easy and work great!! After loving Calendula cleanser by @aprilskin I saw these and just had to try them, especially when I saw they are supposed to moisturize as well as clean and exfoliate! They smell absolutely amazing, and this is coming from someone who absolutely does not care for hardly anything scented in her products. They come textured on one side and smooth on the other. The instructions tell you to use the textured side first on dry cleansed skin and follow up repeating with the smooth side of the pads. I found these to be very gentle, and easily able to be used everyday. They can be used to remove extra makeup and skin impurities, and even include beautiful calendula petals! it's such a lovely product, and for the price point it's easy to add this into your skincare and reap the benefits. I especially loved that they are not drying, and actually recommend patting the extra toner into your skin before moisturizing. I absolutely love these and have been using them since they arrived nearly everyday! A++

I had the opportunity to try the @Aprilskin_global Real Calendula Peeling Pads. They claim to cleanse, exfoliate, soothe, hydrate, and tighten pores. Some key ingredients are real calendula flowers, LHA and PHA exfoliants, and Aprilskin’s Anti-Serum P (a pore care formula) that contains evening primrose, kudzu root, longleaf pine, and Japanese elm. The pads are dual-textured (embossed side and a silky side) and saturated with enough product for face and décolleté. The scent is mild, citrusy, and doesn’t linger. I’ve been using the pads day and night, on cleansed skin. There’s a lot of product in the pad so it leaves skin quite wet. I pat and press to absorb. There’s no sticky or tacky feel and no stinging or irritation. Afterwards my skin feels somewhat hydrated, a little plumper, and prepped for the rest of my routine. After a couple weeks of use I’ve noticed clearer, smoother and brighter skin. Also, I had a couple of spots that seemed to heal up faster. Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with this product and will continue to use. These embossed fabric pads are formulated with the petals and essence of 🌻Calendula🌻 flowers. 🌻Calendula🌻 is known to enhance skin healing, reduce inflammation, diminishes acne with it's antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, treats skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, and promotes cell regeneration. These pads are hypoallergenic, making them perfect for people with sensitive skin. They're also EWG Green grade, and alcohol-free. Underlying moisturizing ingredients infuse the skin with moisture, while PHA's and LHA's (4th generation peeling ingredients) remove dead skin cells and residual impurities. **SEE PIC FOR FULL INGREDIENT LIST** Directions: After washing face, use embossed side of pad to massage face in a circular motion except for the eyes and mouth. Aprilskin Calendula Peeling Pad were awesome to add into my routine. I liked using the pads after cleansing my face. Quick wipe down and moisturize my skin before I apply serum or lotion. Aprilskin Calendula Peeling Pad (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) Once again, I bring you another peeling pad product! My weakness. This time, these pads have a twist ~ made with 79% real whole calendula flowers, extracted 100% calendula flower petals harvested from clean, green zones, this pad actually has the dried calendula in between the pads! I don't know if that DOES anything, but it is cool looking. Calendula is also pretty cool as an ingredient as it has one of the longest histories of usage of any herb in skin care. It helps heal chapped & irritated skin. It stimulates wound & burn healing. Calendula gets much of its healing properties from its high levels of carotenoids, which is similar to Vitamin A. This also has another healing ingredient in here, centella ~ another herb used for thousands of years to help heal & soothe skin, while providing antibiotic, astringent & anti-inflammatory benefits This has a couple of gentle acids in here, bringing this pad product to a skin friendly pH of 5. Gluconolactone which is a water soluble PHA ~ poly hydroxy acid. PHA is a third generation peeling/exfoliating ingredient, like AHA but it is less irritating, while being as effective. It is gentle & mild, so it does take longer to see results. PHA’s also have hydrating and moisturizing benefits Capryloyl salicylic acid, which is an oil soluble LHA (lipo hydroxy acid). Capryloyl salicylic acid is a derivative of salicylic acid, so it has all of the anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory & deep pore cleansing and exfoliating properties as a BHA, but it can be used in lower percentages than salicylic acid. This also has a patented pore care formula ~ Anti-Sebum P ~ removing excess oil while providing an astringent benefit (evening primrose, kudzu root, longleaf pine, Japanese elm). This does have orange peel oil in it, which explains its citrus herbal scent. These pads do not contain sulfates, parabens or artificial fragrances The packaging is beautiful, with the gradation of the marigold orange yellow, lots of pads in here ~ 60 in total. One side of the pad is textured (quilted) & the other is smooth, so this is both a chemical & physical exfoliator. To use, just swipe the texture side all over a clean, dry face ~ whisky away dead skin cells, dirt & oil and flip over the smooth side, hydrating your skin with the remaining essence. These pads provide a refreshing feeling, while gently removing excess oil & gunk, providing astringent care AND the best part is how hydrating they are without being sticky or greasy. These are great to take to the gym as well, after a sweaty workout & no time to shower. The Aprilskin Calendula Peeling Pad was a very gently peeling pad that I enjoyed. The smell was light a slightly floral, honey smell. The pads were soft and after I finished wiping my face down, it felt refreshed and clean. Would buy again!

My Review and thoughts regarding my Aprilskin Peel Pads. First impression. I just love good skin care.l was very impressed with the appearance and flower petals inside the jar. Aprilskin did not disappoint me. Useing on a fresh washed face I used as directed useing both side of the pad. Useing the product for 2 weeks there was a noticeable improvement with my face. The overall texture was more refined along with pore size. I belive the was a big improvement with sunspots and fine Lines. I would recommend this product to anyone. Today I have had the privelage of reviewing my absolute favorite product so far in my beauty journey; Aprilskin's Calendula Peeling Pads. I really cannot say enough great things about this product. First off, I'd like to say thank you to 0.8L and Aprilskin for allowing me to review this product at a reduced price of $3.99. These pads are really moist! They were soaked in serum and little pieces of sunflower. It had a faint smell that I really enjoyed. It was almost a lavender or light floral smell. The pads use LHA which is a derivative of salicylic acid. It's actually got a higher pH than salicylic acid making it gentle and better for sensitive skin. The pads also use PHA which is an alphahydroxy acid that's water soluble. It smoothes the skins texture and lightens dark spots. PHA has larger molecules that don't penetrate skin, making it perfect for sensitive skin. The calendula flower has antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Directions state to cleanse face first with textured side than go over face again with the smooth side. The pads contain small pieces of sunflower in the serum. It retails for $24 for 4.23 oz/120 grams. The formula is made of 79% real flowers. The pads are saturated in serum and are dual textured.

I have combination skin-- oily T-zone and dry cheeks-- that has hyper-pigmentation, large pores around the nose / cheek / temple area and acne scars from picking at my face. Also, my skin was looking very dull and congested from winter. Every time I use it, my skin feels so soft! This stuff is not harsh and does a great job of evenly exfoliating my skin. I love flipping over the pad and using the soft side to pat the product into my skin. Afterwards, my makeup goes on nicely without flaking. I use this about twice a week after cleansing. I'm so excited to use it again. I wish I could use it every day, but I consider it a twice a week treat. My skin looked pretty much how it did after I had a facial. I use these peeling pads after washing my face every morning. I love peeling pads because they are such a gentle way to exfoliate my skin on a daily basis. 💓 April Skin Calendula Peeling Pads use LHA, which is a derivative of salicylic acid but has a higher pH than salicylic acid making it gentler and better suited for sensitive skin. Another exfoliating ingredient in these pads is PHA which is an alpha hydroxy acid that is water-soluble and works on the skin's surface to smooth texture and lighten dark spots. Unlike other alpha hydroxy acids however, PHA has larger molecules that do not penetrate the skin, making it another great choice for sensitive skin because it is so gentle. 🌺 The star ingredient in this product and the first thing on the ingredient list is the calendula flower which has antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. 🌺 I swipe with the textured side first and then go over my face once again with the smooth side of the pad. The pads actually have small bits of flower petals on them and the scent is very light and flowery. 💮 After using the pads, my skin feels soft and hydrated.
