My Thoughts: 🍁 There are so many wonderful facial cleanser coming out of South Korea. This one is another excellent cleanser. It takes off makeup, including waterproof eyeliner and mascara with one washing. I did a second wash with the cleanser and my face cloth had nothing in it. I do still recommend a second cleansing just to make sure but I might make this one my last cleansing because it leaves your skin very comfortable and moist. There’s none of the tightness that some cleansers leave behind. I almost didn’t get this product because I really didn’t need it, however, I’m really glad that I got it because of the nice moist feeling I have experienced after cleansing. I believe I was 12 when I got my first pimple, and so got my mom to buy me some stripping, foaming cleanser from the drug store. It wasn’t good for my skin then, and I can’t imagine letting my kids use something like it now!⁣ ⁣ My oldest son (he’s 8) and I have been sharing this @skinmellow Facial Foam Cleanser 💛 It is created with steam-extracted domestic cypress water and non-GMO fermented corn extract 🌽 It has a really nice herbal scent, and pumps from the bottle as a soft, somewhat dense foam. I love it because it is both gentle enough for him and effective enough for me as the second step in a double-cleanse routine!

When I find a face wash that works for my skin, I tend to stick to it but this year I've been experimenting with new brands. I'm happy that I am discovering new skin care every week. It's good to have options. What I love most about this foam facial wash is it's minimal. All you need is one pump and it lathers your whole face. I also like how it melts into your skin, similar to an oil cleanser. It does an amazing job of getting rid of all the dirt on my face. This skinmellow facial cleanser comes in a bottle with a pump dispenser that dispenses little airy clouds of soft silky refreshing gooodness for your face. The framing cleaner works great after using an oil cleaner to make sure you get ever little last bit of makeup off. I found this to work very well and it was gentle enough to be great for sensitive skin. It worked to remove waterproof mascara and left my skin feeling light bright and refreshed. There is barely a scent. The foam is whipped and creamy enough to help add moisture to your skin while at the same time being light enough that it quickly melts in to your skin and eradicates every last smudge of dirt.

Upon using and putting on my face, it was so foamy that it immediately went everywhere including in my eye (good thing its gentle). Once I started cleansing my face with it, I thought it was going to be okay. Seemed gentle, had a descent smell, and felt pretty good overall, but as time went on the scent seemed to get stronger. So strong I couldn't handle it and I'm not one who is EVER sensitive to scents. So I had to wash it off. Once washed off my face felt very sticky still. So I ended up having to re-wash my face with my regular cleanser. Overall, this foam is definitely a big NO for me. All around bad experience which was surprising to me. Skinmellow Facial Foam (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) Even though I am not really affected by higher pH cleansers, I know a lot of my readers are, so when I saw this cleanser by Skinmellow state that it doesn't cause irritation & is suitable for sensitive skin & children, I thought this might be a good one to try out. Especially with a name like Skin*MELLOW*, I assumed that it would be a lower pH. Welp. First up, this is made with 100% Korean sourced, steam extracted Cypress water, which has antiseptic, anti fungal and antiviral properties to heal blemishes & minor skin issues, like abrasions and rashes, and purifying your skin. This also has a biodegradable, non-GMO fermented corn surfactant, decyl glucoside, which provides a nice moisturizing feeling without making your skin dry. A few botanicals, with green tea, calendula & licorice root for anti-oxidant & soothing care, along with a couple of EO's: lavender & geranium. Pump it out and the liquid turns to a mountain of foamy goodness that feels very slick & moisturizing on my skin. This works really nicely for cleansing my skin and I didn't experience any dryness. HOWEVER, this does have a high pH level ~ it clocks in at 8. Also, because this does have essential oils in it, it could be irritating to sensitive skin ~ the cleanser does smell really nice with a dry herbal tone. This is another brand I’d never heard of until 08L selected new to try this cleanser. I like how light and fluffy the foam was as it was dispensed, and it did a really thorough job cleaning my skin. The smell was very faint and herbal. Overall, I liked the cleanser but it left my face feeling a tiny bit tight. I need products that add some moisture to my skin during most of the year. I’m going to put this in my gym bag because I like cleansers like this to use when I’m sweaty.

This cleansing foam cleans your face without irritation and is suitable for children and people with sensitive skin. I love this cleansing foam! It made my skin feel really clean and I love that feeling. This does have a stronger floral scent than I would prefer but for people who can’t stand strong scents, be aware. This cleansing foam retails for $19.99. It’s a good price for a quality cleanser, especially for me because I do mainly use a facial cleanser with salicylic acid in it so I would only be using this maybe twice a week.

Skinmellow Facial Foam is a try for a honest opinion. I do like this foaming cleanser for the face. It seems to deep clean the face and leaves it refreshed. I gave this 4 stars because I don’t care for the smell. It’s strong but to me it smells more like freshening cleaning products. I just wish it had a different smell to it.
