I’ve been following a Korean style skin care routine for almost 3 years now and I absolutely love it. 🥰 Your routine can include up to 10 steps but I typically do just 6 or 7 steps. After cleansing, toner is the second step. Toner prepares your skin to absorb the other products that you will apply next. Because of this, it’s important to find a toner that doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky or heavy. I recently started using the Medicube Red Toner and have been loving it! This toner leaves my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. 💦 It also helps to control sebum production and prevent acne. This is so important to me since my skin has been going through lots of hormonal changes during pregnancy. This toner is great for combination skin, my T zone tends to be oily and the rest of my face is on the dry side. The Medicube Red Toner has made my t zone less oily but at the same time hasn’t caused extra dryness. The only problem that I had with this toner is the glass bottle that it comes in, at times it was hard to get product out.

Medicube Red Toner . ⛑ I previously reviewed a few products from @medicube_global_official but this is the first that I have tried their Red line products which is specifically design for acne-prone skins. This toner main feature is to hydrate skin after cleansing and is meant to sooth irritated and sensitive skins. It helps balance sebum production, prevent acne, and has anti-inflammatory properties with Colloidal Sulfur & Ovalicin. It removes dead skin cells and wastes from clogged pores with Salicylic Acid, also it hydrate skin with Beta-Glucan, Glycerin, and Betaine. Because this toner is made for easily irritated and sensitive skin, it only contains natural preservatives. It contains more than 19 botanical extract and oil, here are just some listed: ✅Tea Tree Leaf Oil ✅Willow Bark Extract ✅Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract ✅Ginger Extract ✅Grapefruit Seed Extract ✅Lavender Water ✅Chamomile Flower/Leaf Extract The texture of this toner is a bit thicker liquid, not the super running watery form. No noticable scent which is great for sensitive skins since fragrance might irritate it. During the winter times I tend to get some acne from my cheeks area and I would use this toner to help clear them up. It’s very hydrating and clean feeling when applying. I often use toners after cleaning my face and this works great compared to other brands I used. Thanks Medicube for this amazing toner.

It truly saddens me to test a product and be somewhat negative, but I always want to bring you, dear reader, my honest thoughts and opinions. ⁣ ⁣ As soon as saw the box for the Medicube Red Toner I new I wasn't going to be putting it on my face. It had a sticker with the ingredients on it and when removed the sticker the box's ingredients were slightly different. The big difference was the second ingredient. Sticker - Alcohol/ Box - Ethanol = Me - No! Either way my dry skin did not want to even try it, but I figured I could use this stuff on my legs after shaving because it does contain salicylic acid and tea tree oil. ⁣ ⁣ The twist to the skincare adventure - my daughter ended up using this and LOVES it. She has acne prone skin and she told me this has been great for her. So, it all comes down to skin types in the end. The Medicube Red Toner is the perfect toner for breakout prone skin like mine. It is very gentle on irritated skin and soothes any redness instantly. It deeply nourishes and moisturizes the skin with essential Niacinamide, which helps regulate oil production, evens the skin tone, helps reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, and minimizes fine lines and wrinkles over time. It also contains Salicylic Acid to actively fight acne but is proven to not overly dry out skin. Made with an abundance of plant extracts this product features a wonderful and natural approach to healing and preventing acne. Some of the skin-boosting natural ingredients are Lichen Extract, Willow Bark Extract, Chamomile Extract, Tea Tree Leaf Extract and many more. The texture is a very light water gel-like type that makes it easy to apply and helps it quickly absorb into the skin. It leaves no residue behind. This toner perfectly prepares skin for following up with a serum and moisturizer. I love that it also works great under makeup. I highly recommend this product, it has improved my skin’s overall appearance so far and I will definitely continue to use it! Red toner helps slowdown sebum production and unclog pores with patented ingredient Ovalicin & 19 botanical oils & extracts. . . ♥️♥️♥️MY EXPERIENCE♥️♥️♥️ . . ✅COLOR: Clear . ✅CONSISTENCY: Between hyaluronic acid & hair gel. ✅SCENT: Medicinal but pleasant. . I do have over active sebum on my T-zone & especially under my lower lip; which seems to be the area where most of the whiteheads congregate. I often extract them with the extraction tool but they never seem to go away. I don’t like to use any acne medication because it makes the area super dry & my skin raw. The skin right under the lower lip is very delicate & need something gentle. . . I have been using this toner day & night after cleansing & before the Essence for a couple of weeks and noticed that there are less white heads popping up on my face. While the rest of the ingredients are fantastic, I don’t like to see both ethanol & butylene glycol together & in the first 5. 💦 Let's talk about an interesting texture today..We all love using toners in our routines and when I was sent this Toner that specially targets acne cure I was really interested. 💦 My teenage daughter is having a spurt of acne and I asked her to test this for me. 💦 What's really interesting is that unlike other toners, this one has a jelly consistency. If I turned the bottle upside down, it would not pour out like liquid. But I have to say it's a wonderful toner because I can see how it helps to reduce inflammation and decrease the size of acne. 💦 Red toner by @med has become a staple in my daughter's night time routine. I was also worried that it might dry her skin as it has pimple curing ingredients. But it does not and Niacinamide keeps the skin hydrated.

Medicube Red line is especially made for acne prone skin like mine which means it excludes irritant ingredients. This toner is made to balance sebum production, hydrate & lightly exfoliate with salicylic acid. Key ingredients include ovalicin & tea tree oil. I received this item only about a week ago so I didn’t have enough time to try fully so here’s the first impression. It feels very soothing on my skin. It also has good hydration power for toner. It’s a good addition to my dry time routine. I didn’t experience any redness or sensitivity to the product. So far so good!

The Red Toner helps to prevent clogged pores, soothes inflamed skin, and hydrates dry skin. It can be used as an acne treatment and it is also great for make up preparation as it keeps your skin’s sebum at bay all day. I love the heavy weight of the glass bottle. The texture of the toner is very viscous and It absorbs quickly into the skin. The toner is very hydrating and it feels very nice on the skin. It absorbs rapidly and I can feel the immediate soothing effects. It is also amazing at controlling the oils. Medicube Red Toner ▫️Claims: soothes irritated and sensitive skin by controlling sebum production while giving skin a soft and fresh feeling. ▫️Key Ingredients: colloidal sulfer, ocalicin, beta-glucan, glycerin, salicylic acid, tea tree oil ▫️Scent: has a faint alcohol scent that goes away quickly. ▫️Texture: the toner is a clear gel, it looks thick but goes on smooth (reminds me of aloe gel) ▫️Overall I thought this was a good toner! I used it in the colder months and it provided just enough moisture and prepped my skin for the rest of my skincare products. I wish the dispenser was better designed for the thick gel. I found that I had to really shake the bottle to get product out. There was no irritation or break outs from using this product 🤓👌.

I would describe the scent as alcohol like (which makes sense since ethanol is the third listed ingredients). The texture is very viscous as you can probably see from the video. It absorbs quickly into the skin. I can feel the immediate soothing and moisturizing effects. I like this toner because I seen that it made a difference for me. I saw that it made my skin look brighter, my pores look smaller especially when I’m wearing makeup. I like that it doesn’t have a scent to it and I like that it’s a thick texture then a watery texture.

I always want to try new products to find the best ones for my skin type. A toner is must in my skin care 💆🏻‍♀️routine and this one has so many benefits that I’m in love 😍 . It’s hypoallergenic so it’s perfect for any skin type. It’s helps to hydrate skin without clogging the pores and also it reduces sebum (yes you’re not dreaming). It’s not heavy or sticky so you can use it everyday before your makeup and it will look perfect. I recommend to add this product in routine to maintain your skin healthy. The only disadvantage I notice is the toner is heavier than other ones and it’s hard to get it out other than no complaints

With a mixture of Colloidal Sulfur and Ovalicin regulated red toner this product made my skin feel smooth and moisturized. Red Toner contains moisturizing ingredients such as beta-glucan, betaine, and glycerino making the use of this easy. I used this on my skin after I washed and rinsed my face with cool water. This product has helped improved the acne on my skin, as well as the dryness, and has made it feel more firm.

Here is another fabulous product from the brand @medicube_global_official 👌🏼 . . I really enjoyed this toner. I’ve already incorporated this into my daily skincare routine. I didn’t notice a scent to it, which is great for those who are sensitive to scents. I like the fact that it isn’t watery as some toners can be. It’s very lightweight on the skin and absorbs almost immediately. It leaves a nice fresh feeling afterwards. . . This toner is made to control excess sebum and help fight acne. Perfect for acne prone skin. Non-comedogenic helps prevent clogged pores. This helps soothe inflamed skin and also hydrates. Great for all skin types!

Here is one of my #friyayfaves @medicube_global_official RED TONER This toner contains natural plant extracts to help unclog pores and help with blemishes. It helps with inflammation and to protect the skin barrier of environmental aggressors. The consistency is a little viscous but it is easily a spoon to the skin without leaving a sticky residue or oily. It helps absorb sebum throughout the day without leaving your skin dry. It is a hydrating toner. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a toner for acne prone skin without over drying. Hope you found this review helpful.
