I love the key ingredients of this serum namely: Patented ingredient: Ovalicin which is antipruitic & anti-flammatory Portulaca extract, Japanese prickly extract, Pasqueflower extract, White willow bark extract, Beard moss extract, Chinese gall extract, Camelia extract, Ginger, Phellodendron extract, Pumpkin extract, Grapefruit extract The consistency is perfect for my night time routine. It is not a very heavy serum but it is not super light either. It spreads on the skin easily and makes it instantly supple. I can say that my skin is reacting to this serum positively. No breakouts. My skin looks less congested and my recent pimples are drying out and keeping the new ones at bay. I also like that this serum comes in a pump with a lid. It is so convenient and clean. I also love the tea tree oil scent.

I was happy to collab with @medicube_global_official & @0.8l_usa in receiving their Red Serum & I love it! I normally put this on after applying toner & it has helped my skin when I get breakouts. I have my teen daughter using it as well & it has made a huge difference to her face. It has super light consistency & does not leave a sticky feeling after applying. Medicube has quickly climbed to the top of the list of my favorite k-beauty brands, simply because I have yet to try a product by them that has been anything less than fantastic. This is the reason why Medicube is Korea's #1 Dermocosmetic brand! I already own 5 of their other products along with their cleanser from the Red Line, and I currently also have their Red Cream and Red Toner on their way- so there are four products in this collection that was specifically created for people with sensitive, acne prone skin. I am a firm believer in the benefits that tea tree oil has for skin, but since this contains high concentrations of it I was worried it would be excessively drying on my already dry skin-- luckily I was wrong! Upon applying, there is this really nice cooling sensation that automatically makes my skin feel refreshed and revitalized. This serum leaves my skin feeling soothed and moisturized, despite tea tree oil's known drying properties. I have been using this serum a little over a week now and have noticed a decrease in the size of my pores which I am very happy about. Luckily my acne has greatly subsided in the recent months since I've amped up my skincare routine, so as of right now I cannot say how well this works in terms of getting rid of acne-- however, it has not made me break out and is doing a great job at keeping acne at bay as well as leaving my skin moisturized. ❤️Final verdict? 4.5/5 ❤️I did receive this product from Medicube & 08L in exchange for my honest review-- as always, all thoughts are my own. ❤️1 oz & retails for $40.

I am so excited to try this product by mehdi cube I already have a couple medic you products I applied the saram the 1st night and I put my moisturizer over it the results in the morning were amazing my skin was smooth actually it was very very smooth right away I noticed less pores pores is the biggest thing for my skin Is minimizing my pores so it was a success as far as that goes. the oil control was amazing as well. total sebum control which is why i think i havent had any pimple problems lately..i waited a coupke days just so i could really test it our.. and fir me this serum is definitely my go to... no weird crazy smells and very sift to the touch..non sticky ir greasy either..

It is non-irritating. I did notice that it has somewhat of a harsh odor. It may be from the high concentration of Tea Tree Oil. I have combination skin and this is great for my T-zone area, but since it is $40.20 for 30ml, I won’t be repurchasing this item. I normally love Medicube’s products, but I just can’t justify this expense with a product I do not love. Perhaps, if my skin were more acne-prone, I’d feel differently. This is my second product from Medicube! I love the very first product I got from them which is the zero pore pad which up to now, I am happy to use it! That’s why when I saw it again here with this red serum product, I purchase it for $3.99 so I can try it! I literally wait for it to go live so I won’t missed it and I’m lucky to be able to buy one! So far, Medicube is on point! It really has a nice packaging. The bottle is made of glass I think, not plastic. And it has this plastic seal that you can easily remove. The pump works well and the product itself is light and non greasy. This red serum is supposed to hydrate your skin without feeling greasy. It dries easily without feeling icky. I’m excited to use the whole bottle!

I used this serum for 4 days and had to stop because I started getting break outs from it. It supposed to fight with acne but somehow I got more pimples. I didn’t know what exactly caused it. I liked how it felt on the skin but sticky and tacky feeling on the skin. On 4 th day I started noticing much more breakouts and pimples on my face so I stopped using it and my break out disappeared in next few days.

I test this serum on the top of my palm and my first reaction is that the bottle isn’t having its a nice size. There’s no type of stickiness no type of harsh odor. I hate having to do this again but once again I did not receive a product from this brand. Time slipped away from me and I forgot to inquire about it . I now know not to request products from this brand. I'm not sure if my packages are getting lost in the mail or what since I still have yet to get the other one.

I have some days using this serum, for some reason I don't like at all. some days I notice my skin like red, but not feel anything. but in the most part is perfect, like very light and hydrating. like hate love haha. I just need more time to test it.

Another goodie by @medicube_global_official from @0.8l_usa . The Red Serum is from @medicube_global_official Red Line designed for troublesome skin. It is suitable for acne prone skin and this formula contains tea tree. The product claims to prevent dry skin, control serum production and heal/ soothe inflammation. Although I haven’t had enough time to test this one out so far it’s been an okay pick. The only thing about the formula is the herby scent this serum has. It’s not too bad but still I was able to detect a herby, medicine like scent that wasn’t too appealing but I am guessing that is possibly the scent of tea tree . The formula is lightweight and also suitable for sensitive skin. So far it has not caused me any breakouts .

I have never heard of this acne line until finding it on @0.8l_usa 🖤 One thing that I learned on my skincare journey, is that acne needs to be treated gently. Most acne treatments found in the US are actually terrible for acne prone skin. Instead of aggressively treating the acne, it is more important to treat acne with mild formulas that are designed to heal the skin barrier at the same time. This combination will give you fantastic long-term results. 🖤 I was sent the Medicube Red Serum to test out, and I have been using it for a few weeks. I really do love the serum, but can't tell you if it will heal breakouts. I haven't been breaking out, so I don't know what this serum will do to existing acne. Red Serum, my favorite product from Medicube so far! The serum is suitable for acne prone skin, and prevents drying the skin out. I use this product during the day, I like the light consistency, it absorbs fast without leaving any residues and doesn't feels sticky, it has a subtle tea tree oil scent, and it feels really soothing and hydrating. Also, I like that it comes in a small glass bottle with a pump, instead of a dropper.

Have been using this every morning after a toner and before I apply makeup as a moisturizer and its perfect. The smell is very unique and natural. The serum itself is somewhat liquidy but its great for moisturizing and setting the base of the skin.

I try to evaluate products regardless of cost because "affordable" and "expensive" mean different things to different people and certainly when it comes to different products. Let's chat below! Does the cost of a product change your perspective of its performance? [GIFTED] This K-beauty acne-fighting duo was gifted to me for my review. I am going to give my review of the Medicube Red Serum in this post and my review of the cream in the next. These products pair well together, but I want to give my thoughts on them individually for the sake of being thorough.  The Red Serum is a very thin, watery serum that absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves it feeling soft and hydrated with a slight tackiness to it. It has a strong tea tree scent, so if that bothers you, steer clear, but I found that the scent did not linger much. I was initially concerned that this serum would leave my skin feeling dry if not used with a hydrating cream, but I don't find that to be the case.  This serum and cream combo kept my skin feeling very soft, smooth, and acne free. When I did develop a few small pimples on my forehead, this seemed to clear them up quickly. They started to clear the next morning.  Although this contains colloidal sulfer and ovalicin (sebum controllers) and salicylic acid, it also contains glycerin, betaine, and beta-glucan which are great hydrators. There is a good balance in this product and it does not dry out my skin at all. In fact, it hydrates nicely.  The only thing that makes me hesitate on recommending this serum is the cost. It retails for about $40 on their website. If it were $20-$25, I would be more likely to recommend it. I am a big fan of Medicube Products. I got to try this Red Serum and I’ve been loving them so far. I often have small acne and used them to spot treat them along with the Red Toner. It’s clinically formulated for acne and yet so gentle on the skin. It does not cause drying or irritation.

This Medicube Red Serum is another amazing product from the Medicube Red Line which is clinically tested and proven to gently treat and heal acne troubled skin. The texture is watery and light, absorbs very well and residue free, feeling refreshing on my skin, leaving it looking healthy, more even and immediately soothed. I like the light scent of relaxing tea tree oil extract of this serum. This product contains Salicylic Acid for the treatment and prevention of acne breakouts but with the added natural ingredients, such as peach tree fruit extract, dandelion stem and root extract, chamomile extract, grapefruit extract and lavender water, this serum is gentle and non-drying for skin. I highly recommend you guys try this product if you experience acne or just occasional breakouts like me. I have been using this serum in combination with the Medicube Red Toner for a few weeks now and I love that it is so gentle to my skin and relieves redness quickly. It is a light weight serum safe for sensitive skin that controls sebum production, and treats sensitive skin and acne. It contains colloidal sulfur and ovalicin to heal inflammation and control extra oil, and has high concentrations of tea tree oil to treat troubled skin. It also contain various types of botanical extracts to soothe and calm skin irritations. It was so soothing upon applying to my face and absorbed so quickly into my skin. I loved the thin, light weight consistency! It does smell like tea tree oil, however once it absorbed it did go away. It made my skin look and feel very moisturized, which is a plus during this time of year!

I have used this product a couple weeks now, although I don't feel like I can say at this time it prevents acne, it definitely helps calm a breakout. I feel like what I had cleared up sooner with this serum in my routine. I really like the smell, it's like tea tree oil. With a price tag of $40, I believe I would purchase this again if it continues working for me.
