Long story short, I actually really like this Cleanser way more than I thought I would. The OKA AC Total Care Foaming Cleanser is a clarifying pore wash that removes excess oil and debris from the skin. It's meant to tone and brighten while gently cleansing. AC is Korea's code word for acneic and troubled skin that's prone to breakouts of varying severity. The cleanser itself is surprisingly runny and spreadable, instead of thick and chunky, and it lathers to a nice, silky foam. Fragrance is the final ingredient, and it seems to be honey, since honey, beeswax, and propolis are all part of the formulation. Typically, a deep cleanser is anything but gentle, but I have to agree with the claims! It definitely gives a soft and smooth result without stripping the skin. My face actually felt great after using this cleanser instead of tight, dry, itchy, and burning. And it really does give a deep pore cleanse! Yesterday's random pimple pretty much dried out. My nose and chin desperately needed a pore strip extraction, but my skin felt so perfect after washing that I didn't need one for my chin anymore at all! I wonder if this cleanser will save me money on pore strips. I find it strange how comfortable this cleanser is on my skin. I really went out on a limb when I decided to try this cleanser. My skin typically hates myristic acid and palmitic acid, which are common for Korean deep cleansers. However they are separated in this formulation. Aloe vera water (which I love) might be taking away the burning alkaline effect of a typical deep cleanser. There is also propolis extract, which I typically avoid (oops) because my skin does swell from bee extracts. But so far, I have not had any bad reactions. OKA has renewed my faith in deep cleansers, and it seems like their formulation has made all the difference! I'm honestly very impressed and would recommend this cleanser to anyone with oily or combination skin that's prone to breakouts. I have had the pleasure of reviewing several products for OKA . WOW, WHOA, AMAZING and I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. Yes, I gave my recommendation first. Oh believe me you would too after washing your fashing and seeing all the grime and dirt left in the wash basin ( I took a picture of the water after I rinsed my face). OKA states the cleanser tones, brightens,clarifies pores, washes away excess oil/ debris and cleans at the micro level. . Per the directions, I washed my face and rinsed off with lukewarm water One of the first things I noticed is how well it lathered up on my face. Folks, a little goes a long way. I was expecting the foam wash to not be as strong, but I was wrong. It was not harsh and felt like silk. . I would have to use more than 15 days to say it toned. However, I can say my skin was definitely brighter and my pores were smaller. . Loved the smell of foam cleanser. It was like a fresh spring morning with dew on the grass. I will leave out the story behind the grass 😁. I usually rinse my face with almost cold water so the warm water was refreshing. Definitely, amazed as my faced dried it was still soft and I was almost sleep before I realized I had not applied my night creme regiment. .
