김부각 Korean Traditional Bugak Seaweed Laver, Pumpkin and Hot Pepper flavor Bugak is a deep-fried vegetables coated with glutinous rice paste. The ingredients being fried include laver, perilla leaves, chili pepper, and many other. It is eaten as a sidedish with rice. It does not include food additives and artificial flavors. I love trying new snack from Korea. That is the thing with me. I like everything about South Korea and exploring it more gives me that amazing feeling of knowing another country culture. Whenever I travel I will go to Asian store and try new thing, just one or two but that is often enough to learn something. Korean snacks are amazing and often you can find something even healthy there. I tried that crispy snack (all three packages! in one sitting) on one evening and I love it. Enough crispy, rich in flavor but not overly salty or sweet. Just that burst of flavor enough to feel you when you are in need. My favorite is pumpkin, then seaweed and I did not enjoy to much of hot pepper as I can’t stand to much spiciness in my food. Overall, really good snack that I can recommend to try. These Traditional Korean Snacks are delicious!!! I loved all three flavors. My favorites were the Laver, which is a little salty and with a seaweed aftertaste, and Pumpkin that it's sweet and a little bit salty, my partner really like the Hot peppers, he enjoys spicy food. I like how crunchy they are, and not greasy. Also, the snacks come in resealable bags to keep them fresh once you open them.

Korean Traditional Bugak Snacks that I got from @0.8l_usa for a discounted price they’re all a snack size but they have amazing kick on each bags. I’ll review from my top favorite to my least favorite. I love seaweed snacks and this Seaweed Bugak are not those you can buy at your local Asian Grocery, I love how crunchy they and and not oily at all plus the seaweed taste with the crunch was just perfecy! Second fave would be the Pumpkin Bugak that taste like sweet potato chips. In general I love pumpkin and sweet potatoes so this snack will be perfect and had a little sweetness to it. And the least fave of the three are the Hot Green Peppers - I thought I can just munch them on like regular chips, no I was so wrong I munched on a couple and after my I had teary eyes from the spice and burned my mouth. I can handle heat but those was way to much for me. Love good snacking..

I love trying out new foods so when I saw the Korean Traditional Bugak available to review for $3.99 I bought it. Bugak is made by deep frying vegetables coated with glutinous rice paste. It’s a great vegetarian snack and really tasty. I tried three flavors this time. Pumpkin: This flavor was really good and tasted pretty similar to a potato chip. I think the Pumpkin flavor would be good for anyone who likes chips. Lavar: This is the seaweed flavor and is made with seaweed paper. I really loved this flavor as I love to snack on seaweed often and this is better than the usual seaweed snacks I usually buy. Green Hot Pepper: This flavor was super hot! I usually like hot pepper and I did like the flavor but it is really hot. Overall I am really glad I got to try out the Bugak. This was new to me and I loved it! I honestly didn’t know what to expect with these snacks... since mostly ‘bugak’ are eaten as either side dish banchans or just as snack. They’re normally coated with sticky sweet rice so it’s a balance of sweet and salty. The pumpkin bugak was pretty good. Not too sticky on the teeth. Super crispy and crunchy. You could definitely taste the pumpkin. The laver bugak was pretty sweet and salty. Super sticky on the teeth. Nonetheless, I liked it a lot. The hot chili bugak was a little too spicy for me but my mom seemingly enjoyed it!

REVIEW: Korean Snacks Pumpkin, Laver & Hot Pepper Bugak This is my first time to review Korean Snacks. I was so excited to try them all together with my husband. My favorite is Pumpkin Snack, reminds me of baked sweet potato chips. It is sweet and crunchy I really like. The next one I tried was Laver Snack, it reminds me of chicharones but it has seaweed on it. It has a seaweed/seafood taste to it and somewhat bland as well. My husband's favorite is the Hot Pepper Snacks, he really likes spicy food. The chili used is different from Jalapeno pepper which he find interesting. Explained to him that in Asia we have different varietr of chilis. Overall, we really enjoyed the snacks and it is something new to try on. Thanks at 0.8L for the opportunity to review this product.

Korean Bugak (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) Bugak describes a Korean traditional snack and I received 3 bags of these crispy treats: Pumpkin, Laver (seaweed) and Hot Chili Pepper. These are made in Yeongju, Sobaek Mountain, South Korea and almost all of the ingredients are harvested from this clean region. These snacks do not contain any artificial flavors or food additives and rely on the veggies + pure raw cane sugar and salicornia herbacea salt, which is a salt that contains salicornia, a marshland plant that contains iron, calcium, taurine and other rich minerals. Tasting Time!! The first one I tried was the hot pepper ~ this is SO good. It is a little bit spicy, because some of the pepper pieces still have the seeds, which are the hottest part of the pepper. I don't know if these are baked or fried, but they are so crispy but very light and the coating of sugar + salt helps balance the bitterness of the pepper. Next up ~ pumpkin!! These are more like chips and don't melt in your mouth like the pepper ~ but they have a great crunch to them. This one was more sweet with a touch of salt. Of course, I ate this bag in one sitting!! hahaha Last was the Laver. Now, I have had seaweed crunches before, and I do love them. However, this one really had the taste of the ocean with it & I found it to be overpowering in a bad way. I didn't eat these by themselves ~ instead, I crushed them up and sprinkled them on dishes to help cut down on the seaweedy taste. They were ALMOST there, but it's like they weren't rinsed enough. I really loved the Hot Pepper & Pumpkin flavors and I noticed they have others, like potato, carrot & burdock.. 🌸Korean traditional pumpkin, laver, and hot pepper bugak🌸 These snacks are delicious, the hot pepper is unexpected, it wasn't too spicy that I thought it would be. I tried all 3 and each one has its own uniqueness, can't tell which one I favor most. The snacks are not oily even on my hand after touch them.

I love chips. These Korean Traditional Pumpkin, Lavar, Hot Pepper Crispy Chips do not include any food additives and artificial flavors as a healthy vegetarian snack. Amount three of them, The Pumpkin chips are very crispy with its sweet pumpkin taste. I like this the most. The Lavar chips are seaweed paper coated with glutinous rice. It taste like salted crunchy seaweed. The hot pepper chips are spicy, that is my least favor. They was sent to me by 08L and Han Bugak with a very low fee, in exchange for a honest review.

These Korean snacks are super delicious I just can’t get enough of it. I ate all 3 bags in one day and one setting. I love how unique each flavor has, the Korea laver tasted super delicious each bite is so crispy and satisfying. The pumpkin tasted more like sweet potatoes can believe how the taste is so rich and authentic to the actual food. The hot pepper was super spicy but it was addicting that I have to drink water every pepper I intake. Purchased and thank you 08liter for letting me trying this in exchange for a review.

Hanbugak has several snacks that healthy and delicious. I'm reviewing the laver, red pepper and pumpkin snacks. These snacks are from South Korea. They make this in a clean area under the Yung ja, Soback mountain. Almost all the ingredient are cultivated there, and doesn't contain food additives and artificial flavors. They made this with the main ingredient either laver, pumpkin, red peppers. Following with how they cover all the main ingredient in is glutinous rice, corn oil, raw sugar and boiled salicomia herbacea salt. Each snack taste different but very tasty. The laver one, taste spicy, savory and slightly sweet. This one is a heated treat that can burn the mouth but was very addicting to eat while watching Netflix. The pepper was crunchy and didn't stick to my teeth. The pumpkin one was sweet and slightly hard. You can hear the crunch. This pairs well with the pepper to get rid of the spiciness. The laver one which is seaweed had more of a savory and salty taste. It almost tasted like roasted seaweed. It was very tasty. The laver one did stick to my teeth a little bit. I do think this snacks are great and healthy choice to snack. I give this a 10/10.

First, was impressed that I received three full size bags of Korean Traditional Pumpkin +Laver, Hot Pepper Bugak (hot pepper okra) & Lavar Bugak (seaweed in rice paper). . My favorite was Lavar Bugak, Pumpkin and then theHot Pepper Bugak. The seeweed had a sweet sour taste and once very crunchy. I am not big fan of pumpkin, but still enjoyed because the chip was sweet. The hot Pepper was my least favorite. Oh, I love okra, but not as a chip and it was a bit spicy for me. However, the spicy might work for someone else. . In my opinion a healthy product and I definitely would buy and recommend to others. I can see that a vegan and vegetarian would like. The product is made in Korea.

Delicious! I can't decide which I like best. The pumpkin is a little sweeter than the others, but not a sweet, per se. Crispy, veggie chip deliciousness in 3 flavors - seaweed, pepper, pumpkin.

It is really crunchy and I taste it really does have the hot pepper in it and the spice is prefect since I love spicy food. I can't to try the laver and pumpkin start after I finish eating the hot pepper bugak.
