Ampoule is one category of skincare that I don' have much experience with. My knowledge regarding ampoules and its role in skincare is very limited. So when I saw @medicube_global_official Super Cica Ampoule on @0.8l_usa the curious me decided to give it a try. Not to mention the juicy ingredient list. With 61.5% centella asiatica extract, Glycerin, Hyaluroic acid and  20,000ppm of Super Cica ( 4-Cica Complex made up of Madecassic Acid, Madecassoside, Asiatic Acid and Asiaticoside), this ampoule is designed to strengthen skin barrier, repair and rebuild dry, damaged skin and soothe red,  irritated and hypersensitive skin. The beautiful green Ampoule is light weight and has a lovely gel texture. It spreads easily and stays tacky for a while but dries and sets in after few minutes leaving a smooth, velvety skin. I don't think that the whole serum is absorbed into the skin though, because when I wash my face later, I could feel it. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all. The results are noticeable. The skin looks hydrated, supple, smooth and bouncy as if my skin has drank gallons of water. No dry patches and no redness on cheeks. It smells like something that I cannot pin point but definitely nothing fruity, floral or perfume'y'. The smells doesn't lingers on. The ampoule layers beautifully with other products and there is no pilling or balling. Packaging: It comes in a green sturdy plastic bottle that looks like frosted glass and has a twist cap, push button lid with n-built dropper. It dispenses exactly the same amount of product every time and one twist is enough to cover my whole face. Love this hygienic, sleek packaging. I am super impressed with the results and in general how it makes my skin feel. Definitely, something I will continue to use and repurchase. As you can see in the pictures, I already had one of these gems, so when I was given the chance to review another one, I jumped at the chance! I am in love with Cica as an ingredient, but this Ampoule takes Cica to a whole different level! Packed with a powerhouse of Cica, it is so soothing and calming for my skin when I apply it! The serum itself is a thin gel like consistency that absorbs very nicely and doesn't leave any residue. I don't have sensitive skin, but this is probably one of the best products I've come across for folks that do. It's so gentle and it's the perfect partner for after a strong peel!

I recently received the Medicube Super Cica Ampoule via @0.8l_usa in exchange for a review. I was excited to try this because acclimating to tretinoin is no joke and requires all the soothing and skin barrier–strengthening ingredients one can find! I’ve been using this daily for about 2 weeks now and would like to share my initial impressions.⁣⁣  ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Key ingredients:  ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The good: Centella Asiatica extract, glycerin, madecassoside, hyaluronic acid asiaticoside, and asiatic acid, madecassic acid.⁣⁣  ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The questionable: alcohol (not always bad as it is necessary for formulation) and various essential oils.⁣⁣  ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣  ⁣⁣ My thoughts: This ampoule has a beautiful green color and has very elegant and hygienic packaging (a dropper with a twist top). The texture is lightweight and absorbs beautifully; it also has a nice cooling effect on the skin. I love how hydrating it feels too. Owing to the various essential oils, it has a floral aroma, which I find lovely but some may wish to avoid. I haven’t had a negative reaction to this product, so I will continue using it to discern if the fragrance is problematic. I do wish that brands would eliminate fragrance, as this would allow a wider range of people to use them! This ampoule layers beautifully with my other serums, and I like to use it after my watery 10% niacinamide serum and before my hydrating serum/moisturizer. After using this, I’ve noticed that my skin appears calm and my skin barrier is happy. My red patches and dryness I’ve been experiencing since using tretinoin have reduced significantly. Of course, I am using various other soothing products, but I think that this ampoule has made a nice addition to my arsenal and I enjoy having a targeted cica product in my routine.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

It contains a high concentration of 4 core elements of Centella Asiatica Extract which is 20,000ppm of Super Cica in one bottle! The Ampoule is great for people with irritated, damaged or dry skin. And the soothing effects are meant to last longer with Super Cica. And it's safe for those with sensitive skin. First of all, the packaging is really sleek. I love the hard plastic bottle along with the fact that the dropper is built right into the lid. Scent-wise, it does smell sort of like pine but after you apply it to your skin, you don't notice the scent. This product absorbed into my skin quickly without any irritation. ⭐️ //#Medicube Super Cica Ampoule Review// ** Received free from #08L for review** ______ 🟢Packaging and Size: 35 ml in a plastic bottle with one of those smart twist cap push button tops that allows you to dispense the same amount each time. 🟢Texture and Scent: Watery gel serum texture, really lovely citrusy scent (but not overwhelming), similar to Son and Park Beauty Water, probably the bergamot. 🟢Notable Ingredients: Touts calming, anti-inflammatory ingredients including 61.5% centella asiatica extract and 4 kinds of centella derivatives, thus the super cica name. Note that this does include alcohol (6th ingredient) and quite a bit of essential oils including citrus and lavender (I presume included primarily for natural fragrance) which some people with especially sensitive skin may prefer to avoid. There is a slight green tint to the product that I am guessing is from one of the leaf extracts; there’s no artificial coloring. 🟢Application: One dropperful is sufficient for patting on my entire face. Leaves a bit of dewy sheen. 🟢Bottom Line: It was inevitable that I would end up comparing this to the other centella ampoule in my stash - PureHeals centella 90, which is a favorite. Overall, I feel like this is slightly more hydrating than PureHeals due to the included hyaluronic acid but as far as skin calming, not quite as effective. The included alcohol and essential oils didn’t specifically irritate my sensitive skin but I find them to be unnecessary. I’ll finish the bottle but for a calming cica ampoule, I would repurchase PureHeals over this in a heartbeat.

I received Medicube’s Super Cica Ampoule free in exchange for an honest review. I used this product twice a week, or more often as needed, after using a chemical exfoliant. This product was an absolute delight! The cooling effects come in handy after using my semi-weekly AHA/BHA chemical peeling solution (from the Ordinary, if you’re interested). It has a bit of a menthol-like light scent, but this product is not irritating to my skin at all. All scent and cooling fades away gently and my skin calms down after exfoliation swiftly. I’ve also used this on little skin irritations on my body and my skin is instantly soothed. At $37 US, it’s a little pricy, but I exfoliate twice a week and I see this price as reasonable. I know this will last me a while and would be put to great use, especially in summer moths when my skin is easily irritated.

This product is being perfect to use on very cold days. I apply before walking with my son, so my skin is not so irritated, red and dry. Now as it is winter I was feeling my skin very sensitive and dry. After I started using it, it improved a lot. I loved the packaging. It has an easily absorbed texture on my skin.

It is made to hydrate excessively dry skin while strengthening the skin barrier and creating a moisture lock to prevent moisture loss. How To Use: After toner, apply a moderate amount onto the face; Spread evenly across the face and Gently pat in for better absorption. Tips!! - To enjoy a better soothing effect, create a quick soothing mask by soaking a gauze-type cotton pad and place it on top of the areas of concern for 5 minutes! I placed on my cheeks and nose as that is where my rosacea is prevalent. It feels so good! - For concentrated treatment, mix a few drops of the ampoule in with your usual moisturizer, then apply it on the area of concern.

Medicube Super Cica Ampoule. Oh my god! I just used it tonight and I am feeling so wonderful. A little amount goes long and my skin is very smooth and soft.
