I was so excited to receive this clay mask, and when I did, I was a little bummed to find that all of the instructions and ingredients were in Korean. That wasn't a deal breaker for me because I got a rough translation online. However, it definitely would have simplified things if the instructions had been in English. This mask is creamy, and a little bit goes a long way. It didn't take much to cover my face in a thin layer. There is some grittiness to this mask, which exfoliates your skin as you apply it to your face. I left it on for about 8 minutes. When I washed it off, my skin looked bright and felt amazing. It did an awesome job of exfoliating without irritating my (very sensitive) skin. When translating the instructions, I read something about using the mask for a few consecutive days before seeing results, but my results were immediate. This is the first #CLAYMASK I have tried & I did my fair share of research to see if it compared. I love, love, love this #GHASSOULCLAYMASK by #SAMNSEAN. When I 1st applied it it glides on so smooth and you get a hint of cooling effect with a light not over powering scent that relaxes you and make you feel like a princess. After awhile I washed it off and it revealed super soft skin my face didn't feel oily or dirty or no residue type of feeling. It felt perfectly smooth and flawless #KBEAUTY #SKINCARE. I have tried this mask a few times now and it's really great. I love masks but I'm always nervous about trying new ones because they sometimes make my skin breakout or cause an allergic reaction. The Ghassoul Clay Mask seems great for sensitive skin. I also have uneven skin. I've never found a product that evens it out as well as this mask. Seriously, after just 10-15 minutes of wearing it, I take it off and my skin looks SO MUCH BETTER! I don't know how it works and I don't know if anyone else will get the same results but it's truly amazing. It's easy to apply and rinse off, which is good for me because I don't usually like using a rag to remove products from my face. I really can't say anything bad about this mask. I love it!

I love this clay mask!! I waited to review this product until I tried it a few times to be sure it was as good as it seemed the first time. The mask has a thick gritty texture and smells amazing which I was not expecting at all. After applying the mask it dries fairly quickly. After I wash the mask off my face feels so soft and feels clean!! The only downfall with this product is that there are no directions in English so I did have to look up the directions to see how long I should leave it on etc.

I love clay masks and this one is lovely too. It has no weird scent and very easy to use. I left it for 15 mins and washed it off with warm water. It made my skin soft and brighter. Last night I tested The Ghassoul Clay Mask by Sam & Sean's Haters & Lovers Skin Care Line. What is it: This mask is geared towards us folks with troubled skin, more specifically us oily gals. This particular clay mask is made from Moroccan Ghassoul Clay, known for its strong absorbing powers. This clay is especially good for removing excessive sebum, dead skin cells and other impurities from our skin. In order to enhance the benefits of the mask, the creators have also added in some Shea Butter*, aloe leaf extract & tea tree extract. All of which can boost the effectiveness of the mask as well as help calm any potential dryness. Appearance: The packaging of this is super cute while still minimal and sleek. The only thing that got me was that all instructions are in Korean, only the name of the product is in English. Fortunately, a quick Google search can remedy this and I was able to find the instructions online with ease. Ease of use: Instructions say to use after cleansing and toning face. I preferred to double cleanse and night and to use toner after masking. So I did it that way instead. Also, you leave it on for about 5-10 minutes, no more and can use the mask 2-3 times a week. For removal, you can either wash it off with Luke warm water or use a damp wash cloth. First impressions: Alright, so now that the introductions are over, it's get to my first impressions. As stated earlier, I double cleanse at night, then use a mask about 1-2 times a week BEFORE I use toner. So I applied an even layer of this mask to my face. Much to my surprise, it applies very easily, no need to drag it across the face. It applies like a thick cream rather than a mask, this must be due to the Shea Butter*. Why the asterisk? *Now, normally, I will never use products that contain Shea Butter, although Shea Oil & butter are a zero on the comedogenic range, they can contain a high amount of Oleic Fatty Acid that can contribute to overproduction of sebum in oily skin, therefore causing breakouts. HOWEVER, I am okay with Shea Butter in wash off products, such as cleansers and masks, this way we do not let it penetrate our skin for too long and don't have an issue with overexposing our skin to so much oleic acids. Alright, now that the Shea Butter rant is over, let's continue...... As I said it applies very smoothly like a cream, so it doesn't feel like a drying product. The mask contains fine particles, which you don't notice until you are spreading it across your face. I left it on the full 10 minutes as I was feeling daring. It slightly tinged about halfway through (which I like). And at the end of the time, she. The mask dried, I decided to wet my finger tips and gently massage those little exfoliants on my face before washing it off. Therefore it's like a two in one treatment! Final verdict: My skin felt very soft, and had a brighter look. I toned, used a moisturizer serum, mixed a little oil with my moisturizer and went to bed. The next morning, I had really even looking skin, still soft and smooth looking and still feeling hydrated without looking greasy. It did not irritate my current breakouts and in fact they looked a little less red. I will be trying this mask again soon and look forward to incorporating it to my skin care routines. However, I will be using this a max of once a week, since I think it could be a little too moisturizing to use more often on my oily/combo skin type.

Received this Sam & Sean Ghassoul Clay from @0.8l_usa in exchange for honest review. Too bad this jar is expiring in 5 mos. First, this is probably the best smelling clay mask Ive ever used. Surprisingly doesnt leave my skin tight and dry like most clay masks do. You can smile, make faces or eat while you're wearing this mask. If there is such thing as hydrating clay mask, then this would be it. Made with Moroccan Ghassoul clay which has a strong absorptive power to remove sebum, dead skin cells and skin impurities. Also contains tea tree extract, centella asiatica extract to help soften skin, calm acne and tighten pores. Slightly cooling. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. Great for dry skin.

Wow! This mask from Sam n Sean is so so good. I love the mild grainy texture whipped up in thick and soft creamy mask. It has a non offensive, slightly floral fragrance Wowwhich disappears after a few minutes. I can't believe the immediate results of this mask. My skin appears glass like and super smooth. I like to leave this mask on for a good 20 minutes, although I'm not sure what the actual instructions say since there isn't any English on the packaging. Usually clay masks get tight and uncomfortable as they dry forcing you to run to the sink to begin removal. Not this one! You could leave it on for an hour probably and it would still feel comfortable. Yet, it's dry! Quite nice. I adore this product and give it a full 5 star rating. I love how this mask feels on my skin. There was no directions in English so I used like I do with my normal clay masks. Make sure your face is clean and apply a layer on your face. I waited till my mask dried and washed off. My skin felt silky smooth and looked very luminous. It felt very cleansing so feels like it would help reduce my acne. The mask itself has a nice floral scent when I put it on. Love the ingredients include shea butter and aloe which are great for your skin. I received this product free. This is my honest and unbiased review.

Great clay mask for clean fresh face. It smells good. It spreads out very smoothly and very easy to wash off with no residue left. I did feel some dryness after washing off the mask but the moisturizer did its job. Only issue I had that there were no instructions in english for which I had to search online and got them. Overall its a great product.

I love masks and this one did not disappoint! When it first arrived, I noticed the packaging is entirely in Korean so I headed over to the SamandSean website for more information. The Ghassoul Clay Mask is part of their Haters & Lovers collection and is made with natural minerals. Step 1 of the mask removes dead skin cells and dirt. Step 2 soothes damaged skin and has an anti-inflammatory effect. Step 3 has a pore tightening effect and moisturizing. After reading about this out loud to my husband, I was shocked when he said he'd use it! He is not one to indulge in any "fancy" grooming, so I was super excited to try this product with him! We smoothed it on our faces and were very impressed with the feel. It was cool with a little gritty texture for exfoliating. We left it on for about 10 minutes while taking funny pictures (it is recommended to leave on for 5-10 minutes) and then washed off with warm water, as recommended. Our skin felt very smooth and refreshed after. I told my husband it is recommended to use 1-3 times per week and he said he would definitely use it again with me! Rhassoul Clay is an outstanding naturally found reddish brown cosmetic clay that originates from Morroco. It is also known by the names Red Clay, Red Moroccan Clay, Ghassoul Clay and Oxide Clay. Rhassoul clay is organically mined from ancient deposits deep within the Morocco Atlas Mountains.It is formed as a result of natural geothermal processes and volcanic activity. This clay is extracted(under special conditions) in large clods, then it gets washed, sun-dried and micronized into a smooth powder. The clay contains silicon, Magnesium, iron, sodium, potassium, lithium, and trace elements.When first mined, the clay looks as a polished brown and soap-like clay but on further refinement it becomes smooth almost like silken earth. Ghassoul comes from the Arabic derivative meaning "to wash with" I first want to start by saying I absolutely loved the cute packaging. It was very cute, catchy and appealing. I never really had a solid skincare regimen until now. I decided to use the mask morning and night. I love how it goes on nice and smooth and has drawn out all the oil from in and around my pores. Upon applying it, it does go on very smooth and it does dry but it's not that extreme tightness that most masks have. I was excited to finally try this @samnsean2015 Ghassoul Clay Mask - Damn Trouble Hater and I wasn't disappointed 🙌 😃 It has all this nice ingredients that I love and look for in a good product. The subtle scent is welcoming too. It spreads lightly ( I used a brush) yet I do wish that it is more watery so it glides on smoothy upon application. The box didn't have any English instructions so I had to google it😑 It did not give me the tightening sensation that I was expecting. Or maybe I needed to put more? 🤔But yep, no tightness whatsoever. I rinsed it out after 15 or so minutes and it did leave my face smooth and soft. It smelt very nice and felt nice too. It applied well. However I am only giving it four stars since I was unsure how to even use it. The packaging had English words but no English instructions or ingredients
