I’m always fan of sheet masks because my skin tends to be on the drier side, but these Mother Made Ultra Repairing Cica Bio Gel are above and beyond! I used my first one after a microneedling session and I was so impressed by how much it reduced the redness and inflammation. I received this at a steep discount from @08liter, but I wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase (especially with the number of peels I do!)

The mask itself is gel like, very much similar to the texture of a Vietnamese rice paper so it adheres very well to my face contours. • 💫 The essence is very liquidity with a fresh herbal scent. After wearing it for 15 minutes, the mask around my mouth area was completely dried. My face felt cooling but not hydrated. I actually had to go apply more serum on right after because my skin felt dehydrated. I don’t think this is a repurchase for me.

They’re described as being soothing and cooling over-heated, irritated and/or sensitive skin. Also hydrating and brightening. The key ingredients are cica ( 15,000ppm centella asicatica extract & madecassoside), Herbcool complex (proprietary complex of green tea leaf extract, applemint leaf extract, thyme leaf extract), and triple hyaluronic acids (sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, sodium acetylated hyaluronate. These are naturally derived biocellulose gel-type masks. And they’re packaged with a mesh liner and cloth liner. There’s a mild scent that I don’t notice when wearing the mask. I’ve used the masks both on clean and toned skin and as a last step in my skincare routine. The fit was nice and comfortable-like second skin. I wore them for 20-25 minutes, but I could’ve gone longer. After removing the mask, my skin felt really cool a d refreshed. Also, plump, hydrated, brighter. The “Look CICAlive Ultra Repairing Biocellulose Gel Mask by MOTHER MADE is an ideal option for those with sensitive skin because of its calming ingredients such as centella asiatica, madecassoside, and allantoin. I have tried mother made products in the past so I was thrilled to see that they made a face mask. The look CICalive ultra repairing gel sheet masks are a naturally derived gel-type facial mask that improves and soothes sensitive skin with natural CICA, HerbCool, and Triple Hyaluronic Acids. This premium gel mask intensely relieves irritated skin, hydrates dry skin without being sticky, and brightens dull skin. The mask has three layers with a mesh lining you need to remove before using. The directions state to leave the mask on for 20 to 30 minutes. I left it on for the full 30 minutes and having serum left in the packet I patted it into my face. It was not sticky at all and made my face hydrated and moisturized, which is great given we are approaching the winter months. It did not cause any skin irritation and actually calmed my skin down and helped with my senistive skin. I would highly recommend this product. I received the Mother Made Ultra Repairing Cica Sheetmask from 0.8L for a trial fee of $3.99 in exchange for an honest review. I was so happy to receive 6 sheetmasks in this campaign. Every time there is a new launch from Mother Made , I jump on it . Benefits of this mask as retrieved from their website include hydration , calming , cooling and brightening effects . It contains Cica , thyme , green tea , allantoin ,and triple Hyaluronic acid . You can’t go wrong with all these great ingredients. I used their green tea toner prior and then reached for the mask . This is a bio cellulose mask , for those that sheetmask often know that these are the best . It was a good fit and there’s plenty of left over Essence in the pouch which I slathered all over the mask . I left it on for 20 minutes , removed it and my face had the right amount of essence on it which I massaged and patted in . Boy did I love the glowing and hydrated effects . There was no tacky dry down or fragrance. I loved it it’s getting a 10/10 from me .

This is very different from the other masks I’ve used. It feels silky smooth on your face and makes you forget that you’re even wearing a mask! I love this product very much! It locks in moisture for my face which is perfect for this dry cold weather.

So I used to be that person that had a completely nonexistent skin care routine. I was very surprised and excited I didn’t have to worry about it drying out for the 30 minutes it stayed on my face. I can only smell the faint smell of Tea tree which I find pleasant. I was surprised because it’s one of the last and least used ingredients. Super easy to put on and stretched/fit well on my face. My skin felt very hydrated and smooth afterwards. So I have to say this is a win for the product! These can be found on Amazon for about $30 a box. It’s more than I normally pay however it is part of the “Clean Beauty” movement which makes the cost understandable!

💧CICA & Triple Hyaluronic Acids in Gel Mask Anyone?💧 🌸 I've had a funny experience with this mask lol. First time was weird and wouldn't stick to my skin (hmmm why would they make a mask like this?! what a crap 😝) Second time it still wouldn't stick that good but loved how it made my skin feel extremely hydrated. (I wish this could stick on better 😥) Third time, okay I better make my post it's been awhile. Let me read the instructions and the ingredients list ... "Mask has 3 layers first remove the mesh liner then remove the cloth liner" 😫 of course I did not remove the outer cloth layer 🙈😝🤣 Lesson learned here - ALWAYS read the instructions before using ANYTHING! 🌸 Now about this product absolutely LOVE IT! In general gel & cream sheet masks are my most favorites cuz I can see an instant result after putting them on 👍👍👍Since I loved it I went on Amazon and looked for it and yup it's on Amazon 👍👍👍 ( 6pk $30) I will definitely going to keep this in my skin care ritual. Mother Made Ultra Repairing CICA Bio Gel Mask Bio-cellulose masks are my favorite lately, because they are so hydrating and plumping. Bacteria weave strands of bio-cellulose, creating a “fabric”. The resulting fabric is stronger than that produced from plants, is very flexible, and can retain a huge volume of liquid. They adhere to the skin really well, meaning you can put one on and actually move around. They also tend to be quite pliable and strong despite their thinness, which allows them to contour to the face. Compared to most paper masks, they are also compostable and aren’t bleached with chemicals. The Mother Made CICA mask is cultivated from 100% coconut juice, and while I couldn’t find a detail of the manufacturing other brands describe fermenting the coconut juice using skin-friendly bacterial strains. I think some companies may avoid mentioning “bacteria” in the context of their skincare because it sounds unappealing, but the result is a great mask! Fit: 8/10 I found the mask needed a bit of adjusting to get the fit just right, but stretched and contoured well. Scent: 9/10 The scent is faintly herbal, refreshing, and very pleasant. Consistency: 9/10 The essence on this mask is SO refreshing and cooling (as is the mask material itself). I can imagine keeping one in the fridge in the summer for the ultimate soothing of hot or irritated skin. Cica is such a great ingredient for sensitive or red skin. Results: 8/10 This essence is so refreshing! It absorbs very quickly, but also can be left on for a considerable time without drying out. It leaves my face well hydrated, but without heavy moisturizers. I think the hydration level is perfect for summer, and for colder months it is a great base onto which to apply a thicker cream. I was fortunate enough to get selected to try the Mother made Look CICAlive Ultra Repairing Biocellulose sheet mask set for review. My sensitive skin loves K beauty products, it’s always a win for me when I get to try a new Korean beauty skincare product. I really enjoyed using this sheet mask, it was very gentle as expected and it left my skin soft and moisturized. It’s perfect for a relaxing night at home and can be found on Amazon for around $30.

This is a really amazing mask! It hydrates and soothes my skin really well. I left it on for 20 minutes and my skin felt incredibly soft and it reduced redness and irritation and really helped to awaken my skin. The mask itself fit very well on my face. It didn't have an awkward fit and I didn't have to struggle to get it in the right place over my eyes or mouth. It contains CICA which calms irritated skin as well as helps to repair skin damages. It also contains triple hyaluronic acids which help to hydrate skin by preventing water loss. It also contains cooling herbs, such as, applemint, green tea and thyme.

This product worked great. It was a little different to use but the directions were exactly as it stated on the package. Each item comes individually package in its container. Simply tear the packaging from one make and more move mask. Once mask has been taken out there is a grid like layer that must be removed from the gel side of the mask and discard that grid like layer. When applying simply place the gel side onto fave and leave on 20-30 minutes. I liked how it worked. The only party I didn’t like is that the mask itself was a little harder to keep on the face it was a little more stiff in parts that didn’t completely want to stick to the face. I had to keep correcting it.
