With my large pores, I do tend to get a more oily "T-Zone." So, I definitely wanted to test this product out around there. The website states that those who get irritated by excessive exfoliation with AHA- or BHA-based chemical exfoliators will benefit this toner. Primarily for the gentle factor this product supposedly brings. **all the perks of an exfoliation without any of the unnecessary damage! I do have to say that this toner definitely is designed with sensitive skin in mind. It didn't break me out or cause a reaction. Honestly, it didn't do anything at all. At least, in a positive sense. Being that this toner is hypoallergenic, I definitely appreciated it. It adds some moisture, but not enough for my dry skin around my cheeks. I would say this is more geared towards younger skin than aging skin, mostly because younger skin tends to not need much moisture compared to older skin. It's very light, almost like I'm splashing water on my face. No sting or burn, unlike most other toners. Even my Witchhazel feels a bit more **heavy** compared to this. It's not that I'm disappointed, but rather shocked but honestly, I don't know what I was expecting. I do, however, feel it does something for my oil control. Under my makeup, my nose doesn't excret as much as I would without it. So, it definitely **does** something. It's just one of those magical products that you can't really tell it works but somehow it...just does. 4.5/5

Round Lab Dokdo Toner It sinks in instantly. Zero stickiness and zero breakouts or irritation. It contains deep sea water from Ulleungdo Island. This place is a famous Spiritual Island in Korea. I love the fact that it’s alcohol and fragrance free. Less ingredients = Less problem. They won the first place for Hwahae Beauty Awards in the toner sector for two consecutive years! I loved it

I like this toner because it is really gentle with my skin, it feels very light and absorbs quickly, it does not leave any kind of heavy or sticky sensation on the skin, it is very good for daily use although it says that it is exfoliating I do not think there is any kind of risk of over-exfoliating my skin with this product, I would like more important effects to be felt but I think that due to its very condition of being suitable for all skin types it is designed to be really gentle and act slowly. my skin is dry and has accepted it very well after two weeks of use, I hope to continue using it much longer. #sponsored #roundlab #dokdo

This is one of the hottest brands on Instagram so I had to try it! I was able to purchase the cleanser here so I was so excited to be chosen to test the toner. I have been using this toner morning & night for about a week. The packaging is clean & sleek. There is a very light hint of fragrance that dissipates quickly. If you are sensitive to strong fragrance this toner could be for you since the scent is so faint. The best attribute is there is no burning at all during or after use and it removes all dirt, oil, & makeup. My skin is dry and I didn't feel any tightness since using this toner. I’ve always had difficulty finding a toner that didn’t feel overly sticky & tacky. Some toners feel too drying & some too harsh for me. Let's call it a #skincaresunday . Hope you're all having a lovely, relaxing Sunday. I’ve really gotten into toners lately and enjoy trying new ones. This Dokdo toner from @roundlab.us sounded especially good to me as it claims to hydrate, calm and soothe dry skin. I wasn’t impressed with my first use of it; it was very watery (but that’s what it’s meant to be like, so I don’t consider that a negative of course), and I really didn’t feel anything from using it - it felt literally like water on my skin. But, I like giving everything a fair shot so I kept using it for almost two weeks and I can say now that my opinion hasn’t changed about it. I didn’t have a bad experience with this product, no breakouts or anything of that nature, I just felt like I did nothing for me. I’ve heard really good things about this toner from friends whose opinions I trust. So my verdict is that this toner might work really well for some folks, but it’s not for me. I do appreciate the opportunity to try this product, however, this is one I won’t be purchasing and will most likely pass one the remainder to a friend. #gifted - for honest feedback from @0.8l_usa

My dry skin benefits greatly from the “seven skins method” of layering a hydrating toner several times over after cleansing until your skin has absorbed as much moisture as possible. A necessary part of this routine is a light, nourishing toner that is affordable enough to use a good quantity every day. The Round Lab 1025 DOKDO toner fits the bill! At $10 a bottle, I have no problem splashing on 5-10 layers daily. It advertises itself as exfoliating, but I found it mildly refreshing, but in no way drying. It has “deep sea water” -whatever that is, which my skin seems to love. I find blemishes healing faster when I use this. It’s water light and fragrance free, and a great buy for really any skin type. I highly recommend this affordable toner!

Toner Thursday Review Time 🚨 Round Lab Dokdo Toner 100ml Contains deep sea water from Ulleungdo Island Panthenol Allatonin Betaine Exfoliates with Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract as opposed to BHA/AHA/PHA Alcohol, fragrance, dye, and essential oil free My thoughts 💭 My new favorite toner, hands down, no questions asked. I’ve already ordered a new one. It’s as thin as water - application can be a bit difficult. I typically don’t use cottons to apply toner, I’d rather pat them on with my hands, and this wants to slide right through my fingertips! So work quickly if this is how you tend to go in with toners as well. From the first night I used this I noticed my skin looking soothed and even toned (a miracle for my often angry skin lol) Love that it’s alcohol and fragrance free (of course) I don’t notice much (if any) exfoliating happening, so not so sure about that aspect of this - but everyone’s skin is different. I do use tretinoin and can be sensitive to acids, so you can make your own determination on this one 🤷🏻‍♀️ Perfect for layering with other toners, products, and more layers of itself. It sinks in instantly. Zero dry down time. This Korean toner is made with deep sea water around the Dokdo region. It’s very hydrating and soothes irritated skin. It is free from fragrance, essential oils, and alcohol. I really like this toner. It has kept my skin very hydrated and healthier. I have not experienced any issues with it and would recommend this toner.

I have been using the Dokdo Toner for 10 days. My favorite thing about this toner that it has Hatching EX-07, which removes dead skin cells. It helps improve the texture of your skin, and has most certainly done so on mine. I am prone to breakouts, and I truly think this toner is helping out with that. It has decreased the amount of sebum my face produces. My face is not as oily anymore, especially around the T Zone. Using this toner did not dry out my face severely or anything. It truly is perfect for my skin type. I would definitely recommend for people with similar skin type as my own; oily, prone to break outs, texture, uneven skin tone.

1025 Dokdo Toner claims to clean up dead skin cells while filling up the skin with moisture. Dokdo uses Ulleungdo’s clean deep-sea water which includes rich mineral components that helps to soothe skin irritated by the external environment and fills the skin with moisture. This is the water-type not sticky toner meant to be used with the cotton pad. I didn’t notice much hydration and exfoliating compare to acid toners. It’s very mild effect perfect for sensitive skin if you can’t use acid toner. Can be used for layering toner AKA 10 skin method and as soothing mask by putting soaked cotton pads on the skin for 5-10 min.
