Thank you 0.8L for this opportunity! Ive seen this product literally everywhere and I’m so happy I got to try it out! This cushion is supposed to reduce the shine on your skin by sort of mattifying your skin and honesty it would be amazing during the summer time when you tend to get oily and glossy from the sweat. The only problem I had with the product is that it’s really hard to see if you’ve applied it to a certain spot since it’s a transparent formula and if you accidentally layer it it starts becoming a bit weird? But overall I’ve enjoyed the product especially on my t-zone!

The Orchid Skin Water Powder Cushion is designed to give 12 hours pore coverage and keep the skin matte. Right away, I fell in love with the packaging and the product is very milky, almost like a liquid primer. It leaves my skin SUPER soft and instantly looks blurred. This also works great under makeup. I don't see a huge improvement in my skin long-term, this tends to rub off very quickly and isn't a long term makeup product. I will continue using and if I have any updates, I will post them here. So far, it's okay but it's just a cushion primer.

It serves as a primer, as well as sebum control touch up for during the day. It gives my oily, large pores a smoother appearance. This matte effect lasted for several hours in the cold/heater environment. I didn’t notice a scent to it so that’s a plus. • 🌸 I noticed if I apply multiple layers, then my skin can feel really dry in a bit. To the point of feeling itchy. So I guess a little goes a long way. After I finish with it, I think I will recycle the cushion container and use it for sunscreen cushion.

The Orchard Skin Water Powder Cushion can be used as a primer, or after makeup applications as a fixer to remove oils on your skin. It’s better than oil papers, and perfect for controlling oily skin for up to 12 hours. This water powder cushion is made of moisture essence, and when applied to your skin has a moisturizing and cooling effect. I could actually feel the cooling effect on my face after applying. It comes in a liquid form that you apply with the cushion enclosed within the compact. I used this is a primer, and my skin was so soft and smooth after using. My makeup really lasted and looked great all day after using this formula as a primer. I really loved it! It apparently also helps to remove sebum, which is really helpful and useful. It’s kind of hard to tell when you are putting it on, because it’s so sheer, but it should be applied sparingly in order to avoid over drying the skin. The directions state not to dab more than twice while applying, and I only went for a one time application in trouble areas. My skin looked flawless all day, and I did not need to reapply at all. This compact that it come in is much larger than anything I’ve previously seen, but still would be easy to travel with. Also, the mirror is really nice once you peel the plastic from it, and the size really makes a difference. Overall, I thought the pink packaging was cute, convenient, and trendy. I’ve never used a product like this before, and I think it’s so innovative. I think it will really come in handy this summer when my skin is not more on the dry side. This is recommended for more oily skin, or normal/combination skin rather than dry skin, however I did not overuse, and had no issues with it. I did not experience any redness or irritation either. This can be used on other parts of the body as well, including the hair. I would recommend, especially to anyone struggling with sebum and oil control issues, because this is an extremely convenient and effective product.

Since this was my first time using anything from the brand The Orchid Skin I wasn't sure what to expect when trying their Water Powder Cushion. I have textured, acne prone combination skin type and this did wonders for my skin when applied as a primer under my foundation. I usually have problems with foundations not lasting and separating around the oilier parts of my face while clinging on the drier parts. When I used the Water Powder Cushion my foundation applied evenly, lasted all day and provided a blurring effect on my textured skin and pores. After 10 hours my foundation was still matte and oil-free! I found applying this in a dab then sweeping motion left my face with the most even coverage being careful not to go over the same area twice or else it will cause pilling. The packaging is gorgeous and convenient to use. The only con is that the cushion is a bit too large and I found it difficult to apply the product around my nose and under eye area. Other then that this is a great product and I look forward to trying more items from The Orchid Skin!

This is a cushion compact That is a liquid powder formula primer/setting powder.That last on the skin for 24 hrs & suppose to leave a silky smooth finish. Controlling excess sebum so there is no need for blotting papers & blurring large pores without clogging. It comes packaged in the largest compact I have ever seen,pastel pink in color.Really pretty I think.So it snaps open there is the 1st compartment where the mirror & spongie type puff for application is stored, lift up there is the sponge press on it a creamy watery type liquid almost like a serum.So I wasn't sure about this because of having dry skin but I also have large pores in certain areas so I thought I'd try.Besides primer/setting powder it is also suggested for using on excess oil on scalp & hair and on the body like under the arms.Pretty versatile product.Applying as a primer to clean skin before makeup.Do not over apply either as a setting powder also.1 or 2 pats. This product is meant to absorb excess oil on the skin and can also be used as a primer & to set your makeup for up to 12 hours. Just simply dab the cushion with the puff and tap it on your t-zone. After application it dries fairly quickly and leaves the skin with a matte finish. You can expect to see a reduction in your pores, as it makes the skin look airbrushed. The Orchid Skin Water Powder Cushion (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) This is an interesting concept for oily skin. This HUGE compact contains a liquid powder formula consisting of skin brightening fermented rice filtrate, healing & soothing centella along with hydrating glycerin. This also has rose flower water in it, but it is the last ingredient & it doesn't smell like roses. In fact, I didn't get much of a scent at all from this. What makes this work for pores is polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). In cosmetics, it is purified and refined, so it is safe for topical use unless you have a sensitivity to methacrylates. PPMA helps fill in pores, wrinkles & provides for a smooth application. This has a cushion & comes out as a liquid that is slightly white if you use too much. You aren't supposed to cake this on ~ just use it dab it on your skin once or twice. I use this before I apply my foundation, as I feel it doesn't work that well over foundation. It does tone down the oiliness and makes for a nice lightweight primer without drying out my skin. You can even use this on your scalp! Just part your hair and dab on to your oily scalp, let dry and brush out. It will help tone down the oiliness & if you have very short hair or are bald, I can see this being very handy! The Orchid Skin Water Powder Cushion is super cute, extremely large for a compact/ cushion and has an incredibly unique cooling effect on the skin. There are some usage tips I should point out for the best possible application. 💧 It can be used as a makeup primer and/or fixer as well. 💧 The effect will be shown after 10 seconds from the application. 💧 Do not apply more than 2 times to the same area. It is a transparent texture, so you cannot recognize the application. 💧 Simply dab or pat on the area where you wish to apply once. If you feel the cooling sensation,the product has been applied well. I personally used it as a primer and did enjoy the cooling effect it had on my skin. It minimized the look of pores and redness and was very comfortable and not at all drying nor did it cake. Although I enjoyed the product, I personally would use it more in the warmer months. I'm not a makeup wearer for the most part but this works great to quickly even out my skin with or without makeup. I wouldn't call it a must have but definitely a nice addition to my skincare arsenal.

Having oily/combination skin this product has been incredibly helpful to minimizing oil and sebum on my face! The formula contains a 70% moisturizing essence and 30% porous powder. This stuff is literally invisible and lasts 12+ hours! I put it to the test with a full face of make up and by itself and it has become a staple in my routine. I used it mostly on my nose, t-zone area since those are my problem areas. You only dab this product lightly on your skin instead of having to use blotting papers ! You can also use it on your body, before and after makeup. This cushion type packaging is HUGE, about twice the size of your regular make up compact. The formula felt cooling and refreshing on my skin, also has a very non powdery smooth finish. My pores also appeared to be smaller. Ingredients include Lotus Flower Water, Damask Rose Flower Water and Salvia Flower water, all translucent on skin.
