VELY VELY Artemisia Return Cream

I was excited to get this cream from 0.8L for discounted price. Artemisia or mugwort is known for its soothing/calming effects in the skincare world. First impression when I opened this cream was the texture looked very creamy almost pudding like. It is light brown and had a very light herbal smell to it but not overpowering. The cream spread nicely when applied on your face, and absorbed pretty quickly in a few minutes. My face felt very soft and hydrated during bedtime. My very dry face woke up with semi-hydrated skin. I use it in the morning as it’s better suited for me for daytime hydration.

Packed full of hydrating goodies like Squalene, Glycerin and Mugwort, it's calming on the skin and leaves you with this beautiful dewy glow. It does have a sticky texture once applied until it melts into the skin, something I find perfect as a hydrating base for makeup. As you can see from the second photo I have almost used up the entire jar and I plan on repurchasing another one in the future. I've been using this moisturizer for several days now. it hasn't broken me out and my skin has been feeling very moisturized. It has an interesting smell (I'm guessing the artemisia), but it's not bothersome. I'm happy to have this in my routine!

Is good for oily and combination skin, balance oil production, moisture without feeling heavy, helps heals acne, dry skin benefit because it has calming and smoothing properties, help with the redness or itchiness. It's packed with vitamin A, this vitamin helps with skin cells turnover providing a collagen boost and anti-aging properties, also packed with vitamin C, skin brightening and protecting ingredient. Artemisia claims to be best for for this skin condition .Dry .Combination .Oily .Aging .Redness .Itchiness My skin is very dry, this are my thoughts about Vely, Vely artemisia return cream, it smooth, hydrated, refresh, and bright my skin, but it makes my skin look oily for a while and the fragrance doesn't smell good, but i still i love it for the benefits i obtain. I only use it when i stay at home or at night because of the appearance of the oily skin.

unfortunately I wasn't impressed with this product though I gave it a 4 star it's not my favorite unfortunately. If you like the Dewy skin look after applying skincare then this product would be for you but I'm not a fan of the look and feel of the Dewy skin. I did give it 4 stars because I have tried many products from this brand and really do like their brand.

I am so grateful to 0.8 L for introducing me to the brand Vely Vely as well as specifically their Artemisia line. Because a lot of reviews on this site use the words “holy Grail“ too freely in my opinion, I try to restrain from doing so unless I really mean it. I was lucky enough to try the essence first, then the ampoule, and now the return cream, and I have not been disappointed by any of the three. First of all mugwort is an amazing skin care ingredient that has been very under used and specifically western skin care. I am extremely excited to finally have a full regimen that is mugwort centric. I feel like I have drastically reduced my number of steps that I take and I am overall really happy with how my skin is looking and it just seems to be getting better and better. I don’t think there’s any turning back for me to any other products, or more so any skin care products that aren’t Korean-amazing! 😂

This whole collection is quite nice and has a very attractive packaging. This cream barely has smell and goes on generously. I love to use this at night and wake up with my face feeling super soft! The only thing I did not like is that it leaves a slight sticky feeling/residue for quite some time after applying. I like this but it’s not my favorite.

I love the Vely Vely Artemisia Balance Essence that I tried previously & excited to try @velyvely_global Artemisia Return Cream from the same line. The Essence only has 1 ingredient: Artemisia Capillaris Extract, and the Cream also has simple ingredients list with only 12 ingredients total, and started with Artemisia Capillaris Extract, not Water (yay!). The key ingredients here are Artemisia, an ancient Asian aromatic herb praised for its healing and soothing properties on aging and sensitive skin types, stimulates collagen production, diminishes fine lines, relieves redness and recharges skin; Glycerin to hydrate the outer layer of the skin and Squalane to improve skin barrier function. Here is the full ingredient: Artemisia Capillaris Extract, Glycerin, Glyceryl Glucoside, Water, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Butylene Glycol, Glyceryl Polyacrylate, Squalane, Sorbitan Isostearate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Boswellia Serrata Resin Extract. The texture is like a creamy gel moisturizer & the cream is light brown in color. It has some herbal scent, almost similar to the essence scent, so possibly the scent came from the Artemisia extract. It’s lightweight & not greasy but took some time to absorb. It hydrates well and I love the dewy finish that gives the “healthy glow” vibe.

This product is a must have, I use it day and night the texture is very loose and a little goes a long way, super moisturising, not too light/thin (which i like)and it didn't pill up at all.The smell is slightly medicinal/herbal but barely noticeable. The only con would have to be how small the jar is, but it is a high end korean product so it's understandable. Will definitely buy again

Been enjoying this product so much. I have combination skin, which tends to be sensitive. So find a good moisturizer is a big deal for me. I’m using Artemisia return cream in the morning, after toner and vitamin C serum. My skin feels comfortable and looks plump all day. Helped a lot with some redness on my chin. Definitely recommend

I have naturally very dry skin, and this has made such a difference in the look and feel of my skin. It is so smooth! This is a cream that went on silky and light. My skin didnt feel suffocated and I didnt break out (which is a good thing). I liked how it left my face with a natural glow. My skin was a little sticky for about 30min after the application. Then it was soft and hydrated.
