🍋The Yuja C-Tamin Serum by Vely Vely is a lightweight serum which brightens and nourishes the skin. The key ingredient Yuja is derived from the Juzu lemon which can be found in East Asia. Juzu lemons contain powerful antioxidants including Vitamin C and is a highly regarded ingredient in Japanese and Korean skincare. 🍋The texture of the serum is surprisingly creamy and unlike any other serum I have tried in the past. Yuja C-Tamin Serum has a very light and invigorating scent which smells like a blend of various different citrus fruits including lemon and grapefruit. The scent is very natural and fresh and dissipates quickly once the serum is applied to the skin. Thanks to its creamy and lightweight texture, the serum spreads easily, melts into the skin and is absorbed almost instantly without leaving behind any unwanted tacky or greasy residue. My expectations for this product were low because the vitamin c comes from Yuja ( a citrus-type fruit). Therefore, I expected a less potent product but a quality serum. And I think I received just that. I used this for about 2 weeks and I’d say it’s a nice serum. It pairs nicely with my other products but it didn’t give me the dramatic brightening results I wanted. I have blemishes from post-acne and it didn’t change the appearance of those marks. However, it kept my skin hydrated and was gentle on my sensitive skin. For the price, I would say it’s worth it. I would not repurchase it as a vitamin c or brightening product because I have used others that I prefer. I would recommend it to sensitive skin types, those who are new to vitamin c or brightening products, and those on a budget. . I redeemed this because I was hoping to fade some dark spots on my face (because I’m a pimple picker, I’ll admit it). The ingredient list looked pretty good to me (lots of niacinamide) and it’s definitely more of a K beauty serum, with a cream to water texture which I really enjoyed. I’ve been using it pretty consistently and my dark spots are fading, I cannot say if it’s this product, or one of the many actives in my routine, or just time itself. The vitamin C claims come from the Yuzu (Yuja) fruit extract, which is one of those instances where it seems you’d probably get the most vitamin benefits from eating the fruit rather than putting it on your face, so I’d be willing to bet the Niacinamide is doing most of the brightening, but I have no way of knowing for sure. The instructions also seem to suggest that you use this as a moisturizer or at least a hydrating serum, and it’s definitely quite hydrating and softening, with Shea butter and glycerin, but I think most people, myself included, would still use a moisturizer on top of it. Overall I think it’s a nice hydrating/brightening serum, but I’d be more likely to purchase a medical grade vitamin C serum instead. The Vely Vely line also has pretty consistent ~aesthetic~ packaging across its products, so if you’re that person who likes a consistent aesthetic in your bathroom (not me lol) Vely Vely is a good option for that.

I'm a big fan of the ingredients in this which help to brighten and even out my overall complexion. I has vitamin c, peptides, vitamin A and even niacinamide which all help in brightening up the skin tone. I mainly wanted this for brightening up my acne scars and I can say that this definitely has helped with that through consistent use gradually! The results haven't been over night, but through consistent use, I have noticed a slight difference in those dark spots so I'm happy about that. As for the texture and smell, the texture is cream-like but also smooth, easy to spread on the face. It absorbs quickly and has a slight citrusy scent to it which I adore. The packaging was also adorable since it came with a bow and the bottle just looks so pretty. It can definitely be displayed on my vanity set as well. Overall, I'm a big fan of the ingredients in this and how moisturized my skin feels after using it. You'd think this would be too harsh or drying on the skin after use because of its ingredients, but it's actually quite gentle feeling and soft to use. I'd probably get this again in the future and would recommend it to those wanting more radiant skin that is smoother. I'd also imagine this is good for aging skin. I'll give it a 5/5 stars!

I’ve been using the Yuja C-Tamin Serum for almost a month now daily, and I love how my skin appears brighter & more moisturized after every use. This is especially important for morning after a sleepless night... This serum will have you looking Iike you’ve got 8 hours! Win!

I’ve tried many products that moisturize and many fall short on my fry skin needs but this product [VELY VELY] Yuja C-Tamin Serum is so easy to apply, you get a tingling feeling as you rub it into your face. All my dry skin from wearing masks are on my chin and nose. I used the C-Tamin serum and within 4-5 days all my flaky and dry skin in my trouble area was gone. My face is glowing and so healthy compared to what it was last week. The fragrance is so calming and fresh.

This serum is okay. It left my skin moisturized and my skin did not have any bad reactions to it. However, this serum leaves a tacky residue on my skin like it doesn’t fully absorb. I’ve came across this particular problem with several products from here which is very unfortunate. I would’ve liked this serum a lot more if it didn’t have that issue.

The Yuja C-tamin serum is one of the best vitamin C serums I’ve tried up to now. It is light and absorbs beautifully into the skin even with the thicker consistency. It has helped to brighten my skin and bring back that rejuvenated glow I was missing. I truly love how luminous this leaves my skin. There is little to no scent which I appreciate so much. I am very impressed with the performance of this and the results so far. The packaging is an A+ for me, it’s just so dreamy!
