I have been using for about 6 days on areas of my face that are needing extra hydration. I like how moisturized and soft my skin feels. It is a bit more thicker than my normal creams but my skin absorbs it well with out leaving a greasy feeling. It really does not have a scent to it. I use this in my nightly routine. Cicarelief Cream is The perfect cream for those who have skin that requires “something extra.”

Real Barrier - Cicarelief Cream is another favorite, on the lamellar emulsion, in my basic skincare routine! I'm a big fan of this brand and its products from the Real Barrier line. I highly recommend it to you as a universal base on top of any serum and as an excellent recovery after acids, a high dose of Vit. C, and retinol! MLE (Multilamellar Emulsion) can restore and improve the barrier function of the skin due to its distinctive lamellar-like structure of our skin. A cream with a fairly dense texture that feels comfortable on my combination skin. It does a very good job of protecting and moisturizing the skin, but it works even better if you apply a good active serum under it! You won't like this cream if you like very light and weightless textures! However, creams for skin restoration on a lamellar emulsion are usually denser and more oily because they are as close as possible to our lipids. And lipids are fats, oils (triglycerides or triaciglycerols), fatty acids, phospholipids, and cholesterol. 😉

It has a slightly thick texture, so it takes a few extra seconds to rub it into my skin, but after rubbing it in, my skin absorbed it fine. There is no sticky residue left behind. This cream is very soothing and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. It really helped to heal my dry, flaky skin from my retinol treatment. this cicarelief cream is very interesting. its more of a lightweight lotion than a cream texture. it has no scent. not really sure what its supposed to do. i applied some to the back of my hand and then later wash my hands when I noticed that the hand I applied it to the water was being repelled. i think it would well for eczema flare up. it absorbs nicely doesnt leave a greasy feeling.

Great cream for soothing, calming and protecting the skin. Great item to have incase if things like bug bite or poison ivy. Helps with irritation and doesn’t include any harmful ingredients including chemical fragrances. Perfect for the beach bag or lake bag!

I have a delicate acid mantle from Tretinoin use, and Real Barrier has been a consistently impressive brand for me. They recently gifted me their Cica Relief Cream, which is just as hydrating and nourishing as their other products, with an extra boost of protection and barrier support. I am so glad I got the opportunity to try the Real Barrier Cica Relief Cream! Suffering from occasional redness over my body, this is the perfect product for me & my family, as well! The initial application feels thick and Creamy, VERY SOOTHING! I have applied this under my makeup, and it has helped my red under tone! My son & daughter also suffer from occasional red blotches, as well. The texture sits well on the skin & immediately starts working! The soft pink tone helps even out the red, perfectly! The active ingredients clearly are TOP NOTCH, and I'm forever greatful for the chance to try something I needed, but I didn't know existed!

One of the favorites creams I’m using right now to restore my skin after I was sick for a while and it is working just fine for me. Doesn’t make skin sticky and left it really soft.

oh my where do I start...lol This product is great for areas that need a little TLC. I had redness on my neck area from something that irritated in my yard. Applied this a couple days and the redness is all gone. I've heard so many others have same result. Plus I heard it helps under eye area so I just started using it that way a few days ago. it's easy to apply without rubbing irritated skin. Absorbs quickly with little smells to bother me as well. My sensitive skin loved it!

Overall, I think this is a great, thick, protective cream. As someone with combination skin, I think this is great for wintertime. I love the simplicity and design of the packaging! For this type of product, I think a small tube is the right choice. The product is a cream with a nice consistency. It absorbs really well and quickly, leaving the skin to feel moisturized and protected without feeling greasy. I felt it produces a "Real Barrier" of protection. This product is designed for spot treatments, targeting specific areas whether a blemish, poison ivy, poison oak, or post dermatological procedure. The cica alongside a high concentration of calamine and ceramides I found to be effective while testing and preferred over a steroid cream. I found this product to be more soothing, comfortable, effective, and with a much better vehicle than steroid and cortisone creams I normally use. The cream is very gentle, and my sensitive skin did not have any stinging or irritation when applied to the areas I tested. I used this on a horrible and disgusting in-grown hair as well as an acne scar I had infected. The cream took down the inflammation, swelling, and pain much quicker than I expected. The cream also promoted the healing process rapidly. After continued use, I felt both areas were drastically better and almost gone at 48 hours. The cream is a little pricey for how much you get. I do see it go on sale though. I am also willing to pay a little more for products that are instant treatments. This is a cream I would want to always keep on hand. It is also so gentle that I would feel comfortable using this on my children and plan to as we are approaching summer and mosquito season. I highly recommend this product and now want to try more from this brand.
