Hi everyone 👋 This is my review for the META FORET 12 PM Brightening Serum. My product arrived in classic style packaging and I was happy to see the company included a face mask and some product samples with my serum. This is fairly thick serum so you only need a bit to cover your entire face. I did notice this serum seemed to dry my skin out a tad bit so I limited my use of this product to 3 or 4 times a week. I used it after using my LED face mask treatments and noticed my dark spots faded and a more even complexion. I’m giving this a solid 4 star rating and look forward to trying more from this brand!

I received the 12PM Brighting Serum by Meta Foret for my honest review.  Although I've only had a week to try this serum since receiving it, I will give my opinion based on that short time. I am a product junkie and like trying new facial products, always looking for the best product for my skin. I liked this serum because of the ingredients that are included that address my skin concerns of dullness and uneven skintone. It includes niacinamide to help brighten my skin and hyaluronic acid to help hold it hold moisture. It did seem to help brighten my skin and also soften and soothe it. What I didn't care for was the amount of time it took for the serum to dry and sink into my skin. I found it to feel very tacky and sticky after applying and patting it in like the directions say too.  I did find it helped to apply very little, like only 1-2 drops, so I guess less is more. I liked the jar with the dropper to dispense the serum. I also appreciated all the included samples of Meta Foret's other products, as well as the free face mask, and look forward to trying those for their effectiveness. I recommend you try this product and the others this brand has to offer to form your own opinion. You may find one you like.

I was curious, but it is said that 12PM is the time of the day when phytoncide is produced the most. I thought it would feel like flowing water at first, but something is not dripping, is it? It feels slightly viscous. I apply everything I apply to the skin with the back of my hands, because I don't like the feeling of something sticky on my palms. However, I was surprised that the product was not sticky. Usually, these products are inevitably sticky when applied, but I felt that this product has excellent absorbency. Thoughts 🤔: I’ve only been able to use this product 3 times before I had to submit a review. Therefore, my thoughts are mostly the first impression. I’m always on the lookout for brightening products because of post-acne blemishes. I like the simple look and description of this serum bottle. The unscented feature appealed to me because of my sensitivity to fragrances and scents. My biggest dislike and issue was the absorption process. When layered with hydrating toners or essences underneath, the serum got sticky and would form a white sticky texture. It took longer to absorb and required extra patting into the skin. But the serum was fine when layered with heavier moisturizers on top. I did eventually get it to absorb better by limiting the amount of serum used and by letting the toner or essence dry down before applying the serum. So basically I had to give it some time and use less product. But I kind of wish that wasn’t the case because on days when I don’t have time I won’t be grabbing this serum. Also, I’d like to have enough product to cover my entire face and have it perform well. . However, it kept my skin hydrated and it was gentle on my sensitive skin. I would recommend it for hydration but not for brightening. I’ll have to continue to use it to measure the brightening claims. I would also recommend it to sensitive skin types, and those on a budget. . The name 12pm stands for the most phyocide emitted at noon.The serum has Arbutin and Niacinamide to brighten skin and hyaluronic acid and raspberry ketone for moisture retention. I appreciate the serum being fragrance free and absorbs rapidly into skin. I am really enjoying using the serum and recommend. I took the plunge with this serum and got it for $3.99 from 0.8L for it clean ingredients. It’s very thick. Im not use to this kind of consistency for a serum. And the smell. It’s smells like glue. Maybe that’s the clean ingredient effect. I don’t know. I’ve had clean beauty products before. But they never smelled like this.

It has Arbutin and Niacinamide to brighten dull skin. It promises to inhibit melanin production, prevent blemishes and remove trouble marks. It also has hyaluronic acid and raspberry keytones for moisture retention and pytoncide from cypress trees to make the skin healthy and clean without irritation. You can use it not only on your face but also on your knees, elbows and other problem areas. My thoughts : I love that it's fragrance free! It's sticky when you first apply it but it sinks in almost immediately. It's hypoallergenic which is a plus for me. It works well with my other skincare products. I didn't notice a huge difference in the moisture level of my dry skin. But it did seem to aide in it along with my normal products. I was very surprised at the fact that it actually did lighten some old acne scars and some other problem areas with my pigmentation. I honestly didn't think it would for an $18 product but it did! Its texture is watery. "I love it 🥰" from the moment you apply it you feel how your skin is hydrated, among its ingredients we find: arbutin, hyaluronic acid and zinc that help illuminate and protect the skin barrier. One of the advantages that I love about this serum is that it’s fragrance free so it’s ideal for sensitive skin. Have I seen changes? As I use other products that also treat the lighting on the face, I can say that this has enhanced the effect.

This was a simple but nice serum. Came at a great time because I just finished up my niacinamide that I was using previously. This has a watery consistency and soaked well into skin. There was no stickiness afterwards which made me happy. I usually pair niacinamide with other serums to enhance them. This is intended to brighten skin, and paired with others such as vitamin c, retinol and various AHAs it really takes them to the next level. Meta Foret 12 PM Brightening Serum To be honest it is a nice simple serum. There is no scent to it, it is clear and it is not overly running. Main purpose is to brighten the skin thanks Arbuthnot and Niacinamide but as with all serums it depends on skin condition, how fast and if you will see any results. My skin is always more red around nose area and on chicks. This is my target for a little bit brightening. With that serum I can tell it is brightening, but not crazy. This serum I would describe more like tone evening, moisturizing and smoothing. It contains Chamaecyparis Obtusa Leaf Extract for skin healing and a lot of sizes of Hyaluronic Acid plus Propanediol, all working on bringing and saving moisture into the skin. It arrived with whole set of samples and now I can’t wait to try more from Meta Foret.
