Once again, A. True does not disappoint. This lovely, gentle, non-stripping cleansing water is perfect for morning when I just don't have the energy to deal with a double-cleanse. The scent isn't strong, and my face feels soft and clean after using it, though not scarily squeaky-clean. I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to try this product, and will likely repurchase it once this bottle is used up. This product was provided to me by 0.8L and A. This is the A·TRUE One-Step CleansingWater made from 87% black tea water (which sounds nice but I'm not sure I understand exactly what that entails?). It is pretty much odorless and does a great job of cleaning any grime off my face without leaving a film or feeling to harsh. I feel weird if I skip my regular a.m. or p.m. face wash in favor of a cleansing water, so instead I like to use this right when I get home from work to "freshen up". That way I can gently clean off my skin without subjecting my face to three washes per day while also not having to wait until my p.m. routine to get rid of the dust and junk that got on my skin during the day.

I have been testing out this A•True One-Step Cleansing Water and it's actually been awesome timing in some ways because this product claims to replace both first and second cleansing steps without the need for additional cleansing products. It is a great makeup remover and got the job done - but I'm not sure I would recommend replacing both cleansing steps all together. I think it's a great first-step replacement when you don't want to deal with an oil cleanser because you can just swipe it on your face and then follow up with your regular cleanser without physically washing twice. It's gentle and hasn't caused any irritation or breakouts, so I'll definitely be keeping it in the rotation for those lazy days

I've tried a few different brands of cleansing waters & I really enjoy using this one from A·TRUE. It thoroughly removes all of my makeup (even stubborn eye & lip products) without any burning or irritation. My skin is left clean & feeling fresh, never dry or tight. There's no need to rinse off the Sweet Song Black Tea Cleansing Water bc there is no sticky or tacky residue left behind, only soft, hydrated skin with a smooth, even texture. I even made a DIY exfoliator using the A·TRUE Sweet Song Black Tea Cleansing Water mixed with some organic brown sugar after seeing a post on A·TRUE's Instagram account & it left my skin feeling incredibly soft & absolutely glowing!

The packaging on this cleansing water is so pretty. The product itself is ok. I have a hard time with cleansing waters because you have to use a lot in order to remove all the makeup and the waterproof makeup on top of that. This is good for everyday cleansing if you don't use makeup or use very minimal makeup. Will I continue to use? Yes I will. This is my first cleansing water and I'm not sure if I'm sold on just using this instead of a cleanser and cleansing oil. When I first used it I thought it would be gentle enough to use on my eyes. It left it burning so I now I use it for my eyebrows and face. It does take everything off but leaves a sticky feeling I don't like. The smell is very light and the bottle is very nice. Why do I post at such ungodly hours? (It is 4 am in Cali for people who live in regular hour zones right now.) Anyways, enough talk about my extremely messed up circadian rhythm and onto more important things like the A•True Sweet Song Black Tea One-Step Cleansing Water. (That is one hell of a name.) "True Promise" says that this product comes from "200 years of inherited heritage from French Premium Black Tea" and contains 87% Black Tea Water. First, let's talk about packaging. The bottle is a nice, lucid baby pink color that compliments the simple lettering of the name. (I felt a little pretentious writing that sentence, but I do appreciate simple packaging.) Second, the bottle type makes it easy to dispense the product onto a cotton round. I don't know if it is just animalistic instincts or if I am weird, but I like to smell my beauty products before I put it on my face. (Not all the time, but just the first time to see if I like it. Totally normal.) The scent is really light and flowery/fruity. I usually use Cleansing Waters on days that I only wore sunscreen out or when I am wearing the most minimal amount of concealer. I find that this product does the job of wiping away the leftover debris and dust on my face without irritating it. There is no residue left on my skin, and I have actually used it as a toner and quite enjoyed it. A·TRUE One-Step Cleansing Water appeared in my mailbox over the weekend and I couldn't wait to test it out. I'm incredibly excited to share my first impressions: 🐌 I have a weakness for packaging and this bottle is minimalism perfection. It looks beautiful just sitting on the counter. 🐌 The bottle is generously sized and is filled with over 10 ounces (300ml) of product. 🐌 I feel like I need less of this product compared to other cleansing waters. 🐌 Apart from PEG-6 caprylic/capric glycerides, the ingredient list was pretty clean on Cosdna. 🐌 I've been use cleansing water after my double cleanse to grab any left over makeup or residue. I really didn't have a lot of "leftovers" because my double cleanse is doing an amazing job, but I was surprised with how moisturized my skin felt after using this cleansing water. 🐌 There is a light scent, but I really like the fragrance for the few seconds it's noticeable. I'd recommend this product for anyone who wants a cleansing water that packs a moisturizing punch. I'll give a more in-depth update once I've used this cleansing water for a full month. I did receive this product for the purpose of an incredibly honest review from A·TRUE through 0.8L.

I love micellar waters. It makes my two step cleansing into 3 step cleansing and for whatever reason I'm more into using my own cotton pads than say, makeup wipes. Though they have their own place. This cleansing water from @atrueglobal is for me kind of a run of the mill micellar water. It removes makeup and what I assume is dust pretty well. But it leaves a sticky residue on me even on parts where I don't always put makeup like my neck and decollete. This necessitates additional rinsing which is kind of defeating the purpose of being a one step cleanser. Also why doesn't it smell like tea? 🍵🍵🍵 it smells like nothing even thought it says that it's 87% black tea water which I suppose could mean that it has a drop of 87% black tea. Silver lining would be that people who want unscented micellar waters can rejoice here.

The A.True Sweet Song Black Tea One-step Cleansing Water has been my recent go-to product because it's so easy to use and I'm a wake-up-and-go kind of person. 😎 With my recent move, I've been out of whack and this cleansing water makes things a lot simpler. It's fragrance free and doesn't irritate my skin. It does a fantastic job at removing excess makeup from the day without the dry feeling. The packaging is adorable and pink, which makes it the perfect addition to my vanity. I have been receiving more breakouts recently, but it could be either from stress or this product. In order for me to fully disclose, I will update with an additional review once I use this product on-and-off to determine whether or not it's right for me. In the mean time, I've collected enough thoughts to say that I do like this cleansing water, but maybe not as much as Bioderma's. 😋

All things tea are beautiful to me, and this is no exception. I'm honestly in love with this A•TRUE Sweet Song Black Tea One-Step Cleansing Water. It's a refreshing and effective cleansing water that provides this wonderfully deep cleansing feeling without being stripping or drying. My skin feels soft, supple, and still pleasantly hydrated after use. The scent is a delicate, soft floral that does not linger or overpower. With a blend of black tea, verbena leaf, and orange petals this cleansing water gives a hydrating and nutrient rich boost in the morning that my skin just soaks up. I will be looking to purchase another one after this one is empty. Thanks again to 08L for letting me experience this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have been using this all week since I received it and it is perfect for melting away makeup. It has no scent which I love and is very smooth when it goes on the skin. I would buy heaps of it if i could

I had seen A•TRUE products on 0.8L multiple times and always wanted to win them because they look so fancy and luxurious. I think it's the simplistic packaging! This one step cleansing water came in a pretty, but plain white box (that was smushed from shipping) with pink on it and the bottle itself isn't cluttered with text and ingredients – all of that comes in the informative little pamphlet that comes in the box! It was really cute and nice of them to provide English information in the packet. This cleansing water contains wonderful ingredients like black tea, lemon extracts, willow bark extract , and contains no alcohol! So you don't have to worry about this drying out your skin. I opened the bottle and tried to inhale any possible scent. I didn't notice a scent in the bottle or when it was on a cotton pad. This is good news for people that cannot stand harsh perfumes in skincare products. I swiped the cotton pad on my face and felt no tingling or burning sensations. It really is like wiping water onto your face! The bottle says there is no need to rinse, but you can if you wish. I don't rinse if I'm using it at night because the slight residue doesn't bother me otherwise. If you're using this during the day, I'd recommend a rinse before continuing your routine. I used this to remove mascara and it worked, but it stung my eyes. I probably won't do that again! This cleansing water doesn't seem to have any immediate or latent effects on my skin. It didn't cause dryness or pimples, nor does it seem to clear blemishes. It just seems to merely clean junk off of your skin. I think it's a good product for a night where you're just too tired to carry out your whole routine, but want to feel like you at least cleaned your face. Overall it's a nice product, but I would probably purchase a cheaper similar product (such as Garnier or Simple micellar water). I feel like I can't justify paying $27 for something I could from a local drugstore for $5-7. There are things that I'm willing to spend more money on, but not this. This is still a good product, though!

Oh...my....I instantly fell head-over-heels in love with this product. It's amazing. Really, truly fantastic!! ❤️ This black tea 1-step cleansing water contains really black tea extract along with orange petals and verbena leaves in a hydrating water that really will remove all of your makeup gently and easily. This hypoallergenic contains antioxidants and pantheon (B5) to reduce environmental stressors and the multi-fruit complex softens dead skin cells and moisturizes as it cleans skin. I tried it last night before removing any of my makeup and it did clean it all off - including my eye makeup. However, I prefer to cleanse my skin first normally and use this to remove remaining dirt and oils, more like a first serum or toner . This cleansing water leaves your skin feeling very clean and doesn't have the oily residue that some micellar waters can leave behind. It has a very, very light fragrance that is pleasant and natural, not at all overwhelming or perfumed. I consider that a huge plus - I dislike using highly fragrances products on my face. The packaging is lovely and I love that the package includes some great information with it. Overall, this product completely impressed and I'm thrilled I was able to test it for 0.8L. I think you will love this too!

This cleansing water works very well at removing any oil/dirt from my face, and does not leave behind any residue. It does not burn the skin, or irritate it in any way. So far, I'm loving it!!

I was surprised at how well I love this product as I've never tried a product like this before. Not only is the fragrance light but the formula is soothing. This cleansing water removed all my makeup except for my mascara. Afterwards my skin felt soft and balanced. I even found myself using this on a super hot day as a quick pick me up for my skin .
