It’s been awhile since I’ve done a #onwednesdayswewearpink post but I’m so happy that I’m able to share a #pinkwednesday post. I am thankful to report i was selected to review @romand zero velvet tint in the shade #toastynude complimentary in exchange for my honest opinions. Details: This tint comes from the #bakery line & evokes autumn vibes. This color is inspired by the nude color of baked sand & is described as a sandy nude with a hint of orange. This formulation goes on creamy & dries down to a velvet matte texture similar to a matte liquid lipstick. The velvet matte is formulated to not be sticky & add a blurring, smudging effect. My experience: I’m no stranger to @romand tints (I really enjoyed their juicy lasting tint in #figfig) so I was excited to try another tint from a different line. This tint applies very creamy & feels similar to a matte liquid lipstick. This does dry down but is not completely transfer proof. This is described to be a sandy nude with a hint of Orange but on me it’s showing up as more of a beautiful pink nude than an orange nude. It’s a very pretty color & one that I think is great for everyday wear. Interestingly enough, I find this tint a little drying for my lips & I think it’s due to the velvet/matte finish. It’s not the most drying I’ve experienced but not hydrating either. Overall: This tint makes a lovely addition to Romand’s tint collection. It is a beautiful pink color with a velvet matte finish. It can be a little drying but only a little. Hands down the softest lip cream I’ve ever used ☁️ The texture and color has great blending and staying power. It’s definitely more of a dark nude so it’s perfect for the season change.

This zero velvet tint in #16 Burny Nude from @romand_en is velvety on my lips. It's lightweight and moisturizing. I like that you can swipe more for a bolder look or just once for a light tint.

I was so surprised by how comfortable this lip tint was. For a matte look, I was expecting a more drying formulation, but WOW, it's so buttery on my lips! It also lives up to its name, as the formula is velvet-y and blends out really well. It also has a slight blurring, matte effect somehow. It's quite pretty and easy to work with. Based on the swatch pictures, I thought the color would be like a light dried rose color, but with my natural lip color it had a slight orange undertone. It’s not quite my favorite look but that's just my personal preference.
