The first thing that stood out was the scent. I love that it smells clean. It doesn’t have any overpowering smell. The product looks like it’s consist of 2 part (serum and oil). But once mixed together it feels smooth on your skin without feeling sticky.

Back from South Korea - fun fact, half of my suitcase weight coming home was Korean sheet face masks 😂 It was fun to pick up some new things to try in South Korea, but I could only get so much because I was worried about product popping open in my suitcase on the way home. I am testing out a bunch of new K Beauty products right now & this Banobagi Thistle Repair cream looked interesting to me. Although it's called milk thistle cream, I noticed that the dominant ingredient is lappa root extract. Lappa or Burdock root's anti-inflammatory and antibacterial components may help different skin conditions, like wrinkles, eczema, acne, and psoriasis when applied topically. A small observational study found burdock may help with inflammatory types of acne. Milk thistle or silybum is a few ingredients down but it also has a huge list of benefits attributed to its use. The most commonly touted benefit is that it protects the skin from free radicals and pollutants. I like to put my face lotions on after washing my face. This cream did not soak in as fast as some other moisturizers I have used. I had to give this one some time to set up, but once it did my skin felt very hydrated for a very long period of time. I did not try it with makeup as honestly I haven't gone anywhere lately because I got the gift of COVID from my airplane ride home. 🙈 This is not a greasy lotion - I think this face cream would be a good fit for someone who has combination skin and still gets breakouts. The ingredients are soothing and beneficial for acne yet also provide great hydration. It's about 20 bucks on Amazon, so pretty good value! . .

It takes a moment to be completely absorbed into your skin. When I initially tried this product, I applied generously to dry areas around my jawline and sparingly to oilier areas around my T-zone. It left my skin nourished and soft. If applied properly, it can be used on my entire face. It absorbs more quickly, nurturing my skin and leaving it smooth in texture. To apply, massage the product between your fingers, then pat or press into your skin for the best results. My personal preference for use of this product is as a night cream. Milk Thistle Repair Cream is very good moisturizer for dry to super dry skin. Very easy to apply, fast absorption and works great with sensitive skin. Immediately smoothes and repairs dry skin. The only thing that is sad, that is the size of the cream is pretty small and I like it a lot. It has bunch of good ingredients: Panthenol, Arctium Lappa Root Extract, Caprylic, Glycerin and much more.

The repair cream has a thickness where it can be used at night or during the day. It absorbed really nicely into the skin. Once it dried down, my skin felt soft, smooth and moisturized. Yes, it’s extremely moisturizing. I have dry skin and this absolutely helped. I didn’t have to reapply either, it lasted all day.

This formula is made for those with sensitive skin. It's creamy and thick. Once applied, it absorbs into your skin. My skin was experiencing irritation and breakouts. Once I applied this, my skin redness wasn't as noticeable!

I received the BANOBAGI Milk thistle repair cream from 08L and BANOBAGI as a complimentary sample to try and review in exchange for my honest opinion. This repair cream is very creamy and soothing to your skin. It is a somewhat thick cream that has a petroleum jelly like feel to it. When I first applied it I was worried it would leave my skin feeling greasy. However, it absorbed very quickly into my skin and left me with silky smooth radiant skin. This formula is excellent for healing dry and rough skin. I could see improvement in my skin texture with only the first use. I really enjoyed using this repair cream. My only negative feedback was the tube is just too small. You would want to use this so much that you will run out of product quickly. This can be used all over your body. Anywhere you have dry and rough skin. I wouldn’t recommend using it in cracked skin or open wounds, but this lotion works wonders on your dry rough skin. It is also safe for use on your face and even sensitive skin. I really liked this formula and I will continue using this for my dry skin.
