I recently had the opportunity to use 1960NY Pure Beauty Cream. I was impressed with this product from the packaging and the cream itself. The product comes in an approximately 2x2 inch black box with a gray and white graphic on the front of a quaint city. When opening the box I found a circular, black container with a similar image as the box. The container was very sturdy. I applaud their product packaging because the strength of the container prevents leaks, spills and keeps the product from drying out since the lid of the container screws back on tightly and snug. At first glance I found a glistening, white cream. It appeared not to be thin or too thick. I was right! When applying the cream my skin felt well coated but not cakey. The scent of the cream is a mild floral musk scent with a hint of spice. Honestly, a male or female can use this product because the scent is fitting for both. I gave the product 4.5 stars instead of 5 because once applied the scent begins to fade somewhat. The 1960NY Pure Beauty Cream was/is very hydrating to my skin but does not leave a greasy feeling. When I first applied the cream my skin soaked it up and felt more hydrated instantly. It also whitened my skin while coating it to protect it. Over time I experienced similar effects. My skin whitened a bit, became much more hydrated and smoothness of my skin improved. If you have combination or dry skin and want to prevent wrinkles or want an anti-wrinkle cream then this is a wonderful product to try. In my picture you can see the consistency of the product. It is not thin or runny and not real thick. I found the consistency of it to be perfect. On the bottom of the box there is cautionary information pertaining to skin sensitivities which I applaud the brand for provided that consumer education to those who purchase this cream. The front of the box contains this quote, "1960NY is a brand exclusive for cream which is from New York, the Mecca of beauty, in 2013 which satisfies what women want for this skin." I'm so happy with this lightweight gel cream from 1960NY. I've been enjoying its usage for about a week now and I can say without any reservation, this cream leaves my face soft and smooth all the while giving a noticeable bounce and firmness to the skin. What I love the most is the beautiful texture. It's heavily ladened with glycerin (one of my favorite moisturizing agents) so it has a thick, almost Vaseline type jelliness to it. Once you warm it and apply to your skin, it melts into a lovely serum type water gel and leaves a nice layer of protection on top of your skin. I've noticed after about 20 min it is fully absorbed. I've been trying this In both morning and night routines, but I can say for sure I have a tendency to want to use it more at night as a sleeping pack. I LOVE the scent. It's strong, but very pleasant. Reminds me of a combination of aquatic and citrus notes. The scent does seem to linger awhile; probably another reason I love to drift off to sleep with it. I didn't realize that a product that has a whitener in it could do exactly what it says until I used this product. My face seriously has a "glow" and my fine lines and wrinkles have toned up and aren't as noticeable. This stuff is amazing and I absolutely love how cute the packaging is. It's a light weight cream that leaves a "layer" on top of your skin but later absorbs into your skin leaving it feeling vibrant! I love this product and after getting a couple of items from this company for reviewing purposes I really love this brand of skin care. I would definitely recommend this.

I absolutely loved [1960NY] Pure Beauty Cream, I have combination skin and it didn't leave my face or neck feeling greasy. It left my face feeling silky smooth and I'm excited to continue using it!

The product comes in a giant container, which is awesome as I think it would last me ages. However, I don't think this product is for me. First off, it has a very strong scent. It comes off as a masculine, clean scent, which is fine, but the potency and major masting power get to me after a while. Also, this cream has a thick balm consistency that is a little too heavy for my oily skin and leaves me feeling greasy and shiny (what I tried to show in the photo). I appreciate being sent this and am interested in trying more from the brand in the future, but I think this product is made for someone with dryer skin than I.

The Pure Beauty Cream has a cooling effect after applying to my cleaned face and neck. Its really nice and refreshing especially after taking my makeup off. I loved how this made my skin feel. It has a nice clean sent is a little thick but sinks into the skin nicely. I don't know if I would use this during the day but it is a nice night lotion.

I really like this beauty cream. The texture is nice and it goes on smoothly. I use it at night and in the morning. I also used it under makeup. It does make my skin feel so soft. It suppose to brighten your complexion but on the box it says whitening? I got my beauty cream today and just fell in love with it. Everything from the packaging to the cream itself exudes excellence. The cream is so great I decided to use it on my hands as they are so dry.

I received my product yesterday. The smell is pleasant but very faint. A tiny bit goes along way lol, but glides on like silk. It almost didn't seem real. Today, my skin is still silky,but the only thing negative is have to say is that it stayed on my skin to long.... It didn't absorb like most, but if that was supposed to happen than kudos it was right on. Either way, I'm super thrilled and I LOVE it. Already told friends about it. THANK YOU.
