So I have only used it once and fist off I love the mint smell!! It just wakes you up!! I was surprised by the consistency of the formula it's on the lighter side which I thought was strange, but don't let that fool you! This made my hair so soft I can't stop touching it!! I can't tell yet if it is helping protect my color treated locks but it sure dose make them smooth!! A++ for that!!

Brand name: The hair mother cellar . . Product: Color Protect Treatment . . What's it for? This is for color treated hair, great for anyone who dyes. This formula provides moisture to dry hair, adds glossiness, and helps repair damaged hair due to over coloring. It also has ingredients that promote longer lasting color. . . The good: I dye my hair every other week so this is definitely a product geared toward people like me. My hair is dry, damaged and has issues so anything that promises to help I'm 100% down to try. I thought this product did a really good job! I've tried numerous formulas and there aren't many that stand out unfortunately and this falls into that category. My hair felt softer and it didn't feel so weighted down after using this. I actually thought this was a shampoo initially but it's actually a deep conditioner. I liked this conditioner. I'm not sure if I'd use it daily but it is definitely a product I would use again. I'm not completely impressed but I do think it's a decent conditioner for color treated hair. . . The bad: I know I say this a lot in my reviews but this product didn't smell the greatest. It was kind of minty but not in a good way. If I could change the smell of this product it would be more of a winner.
