BENTON snail bee high content skin. @benton is a trusted Korean skincare brand so I am happy to try out this toner/first essence. . . 🐌 This product has chock full of beneficial ingredients such as snail secretion filtrate, bee venom, niacinamide (my favorite), adenosine, etc. . . 🐝 I did not detect any scent in this watery toner. It feels so cool and refreshing when I applied to my face without causing any irritation. This step is perfect because it prepared my skin for maximum absorption of the next several layers of other products. . . I finally received my Benton Snail Bee High Content Skin from 0.8L! This is a very nice watery toner that gives my skin a slightly buzzy feeling. I like that my skin feels more hydrated and plump after use. Areas with very dry or broken skin feel slightly irritated and red but it goes away quickly as the product absorbs. This contains Bee Venom which I have been super curious about trying for a long time and I don’t feel disappointed. This does not cause pilling under my other moisturizers and serums and does not leave a sticky or tacky residue, either. This was definitely worth the wait, thank you to @0.8L_US for helping me with the lost package and for offering the chance to try this at a discounted rate.

Benton Snail Bee High Content Skin is a Korean toner product. Unlike Western toners, which are made to be used as an additional cleansing or astringent step; Korean toners & Asian toners in general are intended to hydrate skin & prepare it for better absorption of other skincare products to follow. Thus as a toner, it should be the first product to use after face cleanser. Much like the rest of Benton’s skincare products, the Snail Bee High Content Skin is packed full of beneficial skincare ingredients with no fillers. It is said to be dermatologically tested & alcohol free. It also contains several of my favorite skincare actives. Here are some of the highlights in the ingredients: Snail Secretion Filtrate – it might sound icky, but there is no denying the power of the skin-friendly antioxidants, proteins, elastin, and glycolic acids. It’s also antimicrobial, and in addition to being shown to effectively promote wound healing in a couple of in-vitro studies, there was a study that showed snail secretion to be effective when it comes to repairing photodamage. It’s especially helpful for acne, overall skin tone, and reducing acne scarring. Bee Venom – This is an ingredient that’s often touted as “natural Botox”. Melittin, a peptide found in the venom, “tricks” the body into thinking it have been stung, causing it to increase collagen production to promote healing. Bee Venom also contains a couple of beneficial enzymes. Phospholipase A2, an enzyme that is said to assist with the penetration of skincare actives that works by thinning the cell’s outer membrane, allowing other ingredients to penetrate the cell. Hyaluronidase, an enzyme that works by increasing the synthesis of hyaluronic acid naturally produced by our skin. Niacinamide – It is a form of Vitamin B3 that works well for overall brightening, lightening hyperpigmentation & acne. Adenosine – This ingredient possesses anti-inflammatory properties, promotes the production of collagen and elastin, and has a respectable handful of studies showing it to be an effective anti-aging ingredient. This product comes in a simple yet functional sturdy brown plastic bottle with white lettering. It has a well made pump for dispensing the product, hygienic & allows good control on how much product I want to dispense. It is clear, slightly thicker & slippery than water, but more watery than serum. Unlike many other snail products, it isn’t overly “chewy” or sticky, which is good since I will layer it with more skin products afterwards. I also didn't notice any scent. I use around 3-4 pumps for my face and neck. It absorbs super quickly and makes my skin feel plumper and softer right away. The fast absorption and lack of stickiness is really appealing to my combination skin, since it didn't make my skin look oily and sticky. It also reduce redness in my sudden breakout. After few times I feel like my skin is a little brighter & not as dull. I have not received this product but the review is due, so this filler will have to do. This is the first time I am experiencing this, although from IG I know this is not an unusual occurrence. Of course, there is no tracking so I dont even know if the product is on its way. Too bad, I was really looking forward to trying this Benton toner too! Has anyone NOT received a paid product from 08L? Wondering what I will need to do/how much longer to wait for this.

Benton's naturally-derived, healthy skin toner has a potent combination of Snail Secretion Filtrate and Bee Venom. It's dermatologically tested and is a gentle alcohol-free toner, that worked extremely well at hydrating my skin. I was very excited to try this because of all the good things that snail and bee venom can do for the skin. Bee venom contains about 40 biochemic components such as melittin and apamine and has long been used in oriental treatment. And has anti-inflammatory properties, protects skin, and relieves skin problems. Niacinamide also known as vitamin b3 that helps with brightening skin. And adenosine for aging skin. I used this as the second step in my skin routine. After cleansing my skin I applied the toner straight to my face by hand, simply patting it in. One of the major reasons why I liked this product, is that it didn't leave my skin feeling sticky or tacky at all. I'd definitely recommend using or at least trying this, since everyone's skin is different and reacts differently to products. I personally love this and it's now my favorite toner. It didn't breakout or irritate my skin at all.

The only reason I am giving this item 1 star and a thumbs down response is because I never received it. Kind of impossible to give an honest review of an item when it never arrives. I reached out to 0.8L about this but they are on vacation so there was no one available to correct this issue. I am posting this review to prevent my account from being suspended. This Benton campaign on 08.L just came on time because I was actively looking for a replacement toner for the one I was using prior to this. My old one worked fine at first, but I noticed after a while that it was leaving my face feeling tight after application, something I really didn’t like. . I immediately tried this out when it arrived and my skin loves this. The consistency of this toner is watery/runny. I typically use 2 pumps (I layer it if my skin feels extra dry) for my whole face and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. I have also noticed that it works very well in reducing the redness and calming irritated parts of my skin. . I have PIH that I have been dying to fade as quick as possible, and I have to give partial credit (I use another product that gently exfoliates. I guess they compliment each other somehow) to this one for reducing it faster than it normally takes. . While I have not noticed any major improvements yet when it comes to its anti-aging effects, this has replaced my old toner. I use a pump in my palm and patted it on my skin. 🐝 Result: I could feel the hydration it gives me but I don’t think it’s enough for my dehydrated skin. Benton uses healthy recipes and only produces in small batches so you know your product is fresh! Thank you to 0.8L and Benton for allowing to try this 'Snail bee High Content Skin' All thoughts are my own. At first, I had no idea what 'skin' meant, the essence from this line is already my holy grail and I've been dying to try this product and was not sure what it was actually for. Benton's Snail bee High Content Skin is a mild toner which contains snail secretion filtrate and bee venom. The snail secretion filtrate is already extremely praised for its healing properties. It also helps moisturize, balance and restore the skin. Bee venom, while controversial, has anti-inflammatory properies while also protecting the skin and assisting in the relief of troubled skin. This 'toner' also includes Niacinamide (Vit B3) and Adenosine which help brighten and provide anti-aging properties. Benton formulated this to be friendly with almost ALL skin types- from sensitive, dry skin to skin that is problematic, dull and has poor moisture/oil balance. The main selling point for me is that not only is this dermatologically tested but also a gentle and effective alcohol-free toner. My thoughts? LOVE. I figured this was going to be of a thicker viscosity but it's actually almost water like so it does not sit on top of my skin. I have had about a week to try this before my timer ran out but I am IN LOVE. I have problematic, dehydrated-oily skin and this has been the answer to my prayers. My skin has looked visibily brighter and I've noticed a difference in the moisture levels of my skin where the sebum is actually contained. Now, this isn't going to cure miracles but it does help calm my skin when it's irritated and keep it smooth and soft-plus, it has no fragrance. Bee venom and snail secretion filtrate is a happy marriage and my skin drinks this stuff up. I HIGHLY recommend if you're in the market for a new toner.

I felt like it did not do much for me. It did not seem to hydrate and it felt like I just toned with water. For a little over 2 weeks now I have only used this toner for both morning and evening routine using #7skinmethod. I am a little surprised...with layering it 1-2 times it really does not give any results. Almost felt like I have no product on my skin. But after a bout 4 layers I can really feel the hydration effect. Skin felt very chok chok...and by the 7th layering my skin felt very supple. I think this toner is perfect for layering and I am actually kind of enjoying it. I just love the fact that it is fragrance-free and it does not dry out my skin. . This toner was super gentle and did not cause any negative reaction whatsoever. It absorbs quickly even between each layer.
