Picked up this Midnight blue calming cream from @0.8l__usa in hopes of calming my redness - this is my review. The Texas heat makes my skin red and my acne scars stand out more than usual. I've been using this for the last week, morning and night, after my serums and oils. It does help calm my redness...to a degree. When applied in the morning, my skin stayed fairly even. Around noon or so, redness appears and some scars start to stand out. Keep in mind I work in an office environment and don't go outside. When applied at night, I woke up with calm, even skin, but my skin always appears calm in the morning. I applied it in my areas of redness: cheeks and forehead. The cream itself is nice - spreads easily and feels cooling on the skin. It does stay tacky for a while after application, but does eventually sink in. It keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day and over night. I enjoy it, but probably won't repurchase after I finish up this jar

I really enjoyed using this cream. It has a very clean, sweet smell, that absorbs quickly into the skin. I really don't have very many trouble spots, so it's hard for me to say whether it would calm any acne I periodically get. However, it really calmed my skin down, and made my makeup apply very smoothly, as you can see in the bottom left hand. I would highly recommend this for anyone needing a good nourishing cream that isn't super heavy. It worked well on my red skin, so it would probably be good for acne prone as well! Highly recommend.

I’ll be honest and be honest and say that I had slowly used a foil packet sample of the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream before, using it on pimples or a patch of irritated skin. The cream is meant to be a spot treatment and is not moisturizing enough on its own to be a final cream. (Well, not for my dryish skin, anyway.) However, it absorbs quickly and layers nicely under subsequent products. So, it is fine to use day or night. The cream is a striking blue color that comes naturally from guaiazulene, one its important healing and soothing ingredients I’ll discuss later. The jar seems small at 30ml, but you don’t need much when you use it, so it usually lasts awhile. Ahem. Unless you go and try to burn your face off like I (accidentally) did. Trust me, I was not planning on putting this cream through such an extreme test. Here’s what happened: Sunday evening, I foolishly used the Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub on my face and then, a few products later, used The Ordinary’s Advanced Retinod 2% on my face. I KNOW. I still have no idea what I was thinking. A few hours later, my face turned red. Like, “stand in the sun all day with no sunscreen” kind of red. I dabbed on some Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream and hoped for the best. Monday was still rough (see photo 3)—my whole face looked this red and irritated. This time, I slathered on the Klairs calming cream in the morning, reapplied midday, and then again that night. My face was still red and irritated when I went to bed. But then, when I woke up on Tuesday, I could not believe how much the redness had faded (photo 4). Even after patting on my morning routine, my skin was so much calmer. I continued slathering on the Klairs cream after my Liquid Gold. As of Wednesday morning, (photo 5) my skin is pretty much back to normal. The cream feels soothing going on and its ingredients include guaiazulene, a soothing antiviral, anti-inflammatory extract from chamomile oil and centella asiatica, an anti-oxidant rich extract that helps soothe the skin. Now, I won’t give all the credit to the Klairs cream—I was using a variety of soothing products—but I definitely slathered it on more than any other product, so I’m comfortable saying it played a very large role in the speediness of my skin healing. Sensitive-skinned people, this may be the healing cream you’re looking for.

This is supposed to be a spot treatment cream for redness. It's for my skin! I get so red in the cheeks where most of my acne breakouts and therefore scars reside. I put a bit on them at night after my main moisturizer, and I do see a great improvement in redness in the morning. It also calms down my red angry pimples. I am so glad to have won this Try Now campaign. It is also unscented, and smells like Clinique lotions. And of course, the blue color is beautiful. It absorbs and dries down as a clear gel. No sticky feel after. Yay!

I used this on some irritated parts on my face and it worked wonders. I think the only downfall would be the lack of scent. The @dear_klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream arrived on my doorstep courtesy of @0.8l_usa right in time for my awful cold last week. With my skin raw and tired from constantly blowing my nose, I was ready for a spot treatment for dry patches. This worked okay. It did moisturize the skin around my nose, but I never felt like it sunk in all the way. It doesn't have a memorable scent (which is a good thing to me) and will work to add some moisture but I wouldn't rely on it to solve all your problems. Thanks @0.8l_usa for letting me try this out - it had been on my to-try list for ages.

My skin has been dry, red, and irritated with the changes in weather recently, so I was excited to try this cream! It feels soothing and cool on the skin immediately, and absorbs easily, leaving my face looking healthier and less red. I've had some flaky skin around my chin and mouth, and this cream healed those dry patches more quickly and effectively than any other product I tried. I'm a true believer!

Thanks to @0.8L_usa I got to try this bright blue Calming Cream from the brand Klairs. This cream contains Guaiazulene, Ceramide 3, and Centella Asiatica Extract which calms and cools the skin on contact. It is advertised as a multi purpose cream but I used it mostly on my face and neck. Each jar comes with a cute little spoon to protect against contamination from your finger tips. I was surprised how quickly it absorbed into my skin for how thick it actually is. There is no scent and no heavy residue left on ny face. You can really see and feel the difference after using this for just a week. I put it on at night and in the morning before my normal makeup routine and had no issues at all! The Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream was a lifasaver. I had a bad breakout from a sheet mask and my skin was angry with me. Not only did a little bit of this cream calm down the redness, it reduced the sensitivity my skin had. Wow this cream is amazing! I was a bit skeptical about it hydrating my skin since it has a gel based feel but my skin felt so silky soft I'm very impressed! I dislike creams with strong scents and this didn't have that at all. The cream is very light weight and has a baby blue color. It's refreshing and hydrating and not greasy or oily at all! Thumbs up!

Thank you @0.8l_usa for letting me try the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream. Well, as it states, it did calm some redness on my face. I don't have sensitive skin, but I did use it as a spot treatment. It has a really nice cooling effect when you first apply it and it absorbs pretty well! Wouldn't use it as a replacement for your regular moisturizer, though, as my chin area felt a little dry when I woke up the next morning.

I tried this because my skin got super red and sensitive from over exfoliation. This has made a world of the difference. This is so calming and nourishing to my skin also great for people who have inflamed skin. This product has no scent which is great for sensitive skin people like me. It also helps textured skin and red itchy irritated skin to calm down and make it more supple next morning.
