Magic Snow Cushion

The April Skin compact is quite different from the foundations I've used in the past. It looks like a powder compact with a puff in the first compartment, which folds out, opening to the cream foundation. I'm not in love with their puff. Its ok for getting the makeup where you want it, but can be streaky. I'm using a blending bud after puff application for a smoother finish. The color looked a bit light in the compact, as I pressed on the inner sponge, creamy liquid dispersed unto the puff. You dont need to press hard, at all. Once blended out, the seemingly lighter liquid matched my skin closely. I have used it quite a few times. Mixing it with my illuminator, followed by a light contour has created a very natural summer look.

This is the April Skin White Magic Snow Cushion! I received this item complimentary for testing purposes thanks to @0.8l_usa. This cushion compact is very nice looking and has a simple yet sleek design. Like most compacts, it includes a mirror and a sponge for application. The formula is easy to apply, blends well and has an SPF of 50! I feel like the formula had a medium to heavier coverage, although it could definitely be built up or down depending on your needs or preferences. It covered most of my blemishes, but not quite everything. The scent was light and comparable to other cushion compacts. I've noticed that lots of these cushions leave your face "dewy" which isn't a look I enjoy on myself because to me it looks oily. It also left my skin feeling slightly sticky which i didnt enjoy either, however, you could certainly cover with a powder to get rid of the stickiness or shine. I thought the product was decent, but probably not something I'd buy because of my personal tastes. I would recommend it to others who like cushion compacts though.

I m so thankful to #08literusa for letting me review the new formula of the Magic snow cushion by April Skin. I have a dry and acne prone ski; This cushion gives a very good coverage if you double layer it, also it has a semi dewy finish, but sadly it doesn't last all day, it only last 2 hours, and I had to touch it up, at the end of the day, my skin became oily and caky, I've been testing it out for about a week, I even tried putting a loose powder on top of it, but my skin became caky at the end of the day once again! To sum it up, I wouldn't recommend this cushion to people who have dry skin, even-thought it gives a good coverage, because after only 2 hours it becomes caky and patchy and oily!

Brand name: April Skin . . Product: Magic Snow Cushion . . What's it for? Foundation . . The good: This product reminds me of the estee lauder liquid compacts. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed using this product. It comes in compact form but the product is liquid foundation. I tried the light beige which matched my skin perfectly. It easily covered my acne scars and blemishes giving me uniform color all over. It easily blended with my highlighter and blush. Ive used this multiple times since receiving it and it normally lasts 6-8 hours, which is pretty good for foundation, at least for me. I would recommend this product and I plan to continue using it in my weekly makeup lineup. . . The bad: After 6-8 hours in the sun it starts to lose it's effectiveness and 'melts' leaving me looking a bit patchy but overall it lasts long enough for me to continue using it. . .

The magic snow cushion was super light on me when I first applied it and I didn't think it was going to work, but after blending the foundation in it perfectly matched my skin tone. The foundation pad that it comes with is so soft it makes you foundation go on smooth. It was a light to moderate coverage and for me it wasn't buildable. It covered up some of the red on my cheeks but not all of it, but the coverage was still beautiful for a light summer foundation. It never broke up and kept my skin looking good all day.

April Skin Magic Snow Cushion White is a high coverage, long lasting cushion compact with SPF50+ PA+++. It is formulated with an EWG safe base of 60% Iceland Iceland Glacial mineral water, niacinamide, propolis extract, honey, Jeju aloe vera leaf, acai, Indian gooseberry and blueberry extracts. This product is an intersection of makeup and skincare whereby the continuous usage will help to brighten skin tone as well as improve skin quality. The mochi cushion is packaged in a white plastic, single use, non-refillable cushion compact with a ruby cell puff applicator and mirror. This is a medium coverage product which can be built up for full coverage. It has a faint floral scent that pretty much disappears after application. I'm generally shade #23 in Asian cushion compacts but they're not created equal. This one has a warm yellow tone that is a good match for my skin and even better, it doesn't oxidize and turn grey like some others with wear. The coverage is almost a little too heavy for my liking but it can be sheered down. This is one that I can skip the concealer with when I use. I like how it brightens and evens out my skintone and the coverage feels hydrating at the same time. I sometimes have an issue with cushions clinging to dry patches on my face. That was not an issue with this one. My skin just loves it. I can see why the April Skin Magic Snow Cushion is so popular because this cushion not only has a lovely natural looking finish but it also keeps skin comfortably hydrated and protected while proving a high sun protection factor. I hope that the brand will come out with a refillable version. This cushion is available in 3 shades: 21 Light Beige, 22 Pink Beige and 23 Natural Beige. They only have 3 colors available. ❇️I only applied to half of my face to test it out and you can tell the color is pretty light compared to my skin tone color. It did offer the coverage without using concealer or any correctors. Applying was super simple and blended great with the cushion provided. I got this for testing and was pleasantly surprised. This is definitely a winter color for me (not that I tan but I do drive Uber so I have some color) +The packaging was cute but it would be nice to have somewhere to put the puff. +I hope the product will not dry out before I can use daily in the winter. +Loved how hydrating and blendable this product is. +The puff was amazing and I may use to blend other foundation. -The color was off for my summer skin -Took longer that I like to melt into my skin but settling powder helped. - Staying power isnt great.

This was the first time I've ever used a cushion foundation! Know I know why it's called Magic! It matched my skin tone perfectly and the cushion allowed for me to gradually build up the coverage I needed. I only applied a small amount of product and it covered any trace of red on my face which usually never happens unless I use concealer on top of my foundation. I opted to do a more natural look as if in I only had five minutes to get ready and I only used the magic cushion by itself. I didn't even have to apply concealer anywhere. I'm seriously blown away by how well this product covers and at the same time how light weight it feels on the skin. It gave me a beautiful sheen glow from within without emphasising my already oily skin. This product was a complete surprise and I never expected such an amazing outcome. It by far beats any foundation I've ever tried! This is a product that will bring out the best in your complection through any season! A true miracle!!

The idea of this was amazing until I tried it. It comes with a powder sponge, not a foundation sponge, so it may work better with a foundation sponge. It is not full coverage like I prefer. It may work better for someone who isn't looking for a full coverage foundation. The bendability for me is amazing and I only use it as an under eye brighter and I love it. The color is a couple of shades lighter than me which is perfect. The coverage covers dark circles and bags leaving it looking flawless. You will need to set it of course for no creasing and I don't know if it will crease without a powder I have not yet tried that out. Because I immediately set it with powder and my overall review 10 out of 10 and i would redcommed this

The BB Cushion comes with a puff, like all BB Cushion makeup do. I personally do not use the puffs, I prefer beauty blender sponge or makeup brushes. application applies better in my opinion. BB Cushion seems to be for all skin types, for dry skin it does not show dry patches. coverage seems to be a nice light weight formula, with a good medium coverage, lasted all day, no touch ups were needed, has a SPF 50 in it. nice to have that amount in a BB Cushion, with sun protection 50. However I was kinda disappointed in the ingredients in the product, for a Korean makeup product. I expected more organic natural ingredients. Like maybe aloe Vera etc. they do use dimethicone. Not a fan of that ingredient. I have Reviewed for other Korean companies makeup/ skincare that actually used all organic natural ingredients. Product works for what it is. Comes in three colors. Light beige, pink beige, natural beige, decent size compact. -Using puff applicator, press down lightly onto pre-saturated cushion sponge to capture product. -For maximum coverage, pat evenly over face. -For light coverage, smooth over face using sweeping motion. -Close both levels of the compact securely, as the pre-saturated sponge will dry out if left open. -Use in the morning and reapply regularly throughout the day if desired to do so. I didn't need to apply again. It stayed all day. This April Skin Magic Snow Cushion is great! The packaging is nice and it's a great size. I love how this compact has a mirror inside. There's a foundation applicator that's very soft and easy to use for applying the makeup. The foundation is easy to access and apply. The formula and texture of the foundation is great. It's creamy, a little thick and smooth. After applying the foundation on my face, it seemed to be medium coverage, and also lightweight. It wasn't heavy at all. When applying, the foundation seemed to be very moist, but not too bad. Made my face feel soft, hydrated and glowy. The foundation doesn't become oily or cakey, it was just right for me!I didn't need to apply so much of the foundation because using just a little really worked for fully covering my face. It's easy to blend and looks beautiful. There's a scent that lingers when wearing this foundation that i didn't really care for, but it's not bad. It's a nutty type scent. Overall,I really like this product!

I was so impressed when I opened this compact up. I love how it has a seperate place to keep the sponge after use. And don't even get me started about the cushion inside that evenly distributes the makeup on my sponge, love love love it. It seemed extremely easy to get desired results. This is the second sample from @0.8l_usa that I received (FYI @0.8l_usa, u guys still have it shipping but I received it at the same time I received my @aprilskin_korea white snow cushion). So first I was very confused as to how to use it since all the direction says is to press down w the applicator to release the product from the sponge, which is how many drugstore and well as high end foundations are being featured nowadays. The idea is great and I found the 'foundation' to come out and be applied nicely; the product is nice and smooth, can be applied evenly using just the applicator, and a can be smoothed out even w a brush. On my second pic, I applied it all over my face, the only problem was that it didn't match my skin tone at all! I guess I would say I am between an olive and medium skin tone with warm undertones and this product made me look ghostly 👻👻👻. I applied it over just my moisturizer in the pic but tried it over my @bareminerals rescue complex in spice08 before as well but on top of the tinted cream, it make my skin even more pale. Overall, it's an excellent product but I think not for my skin tone. Next time before I apply for a @0.8l_usa makeup, I think I will be more careful to make sure that it is something that will suit my skin tone, esp since I know many others would be very happy with this product. I love how compact this foundation packaging came. It was light weight and blendable on my skin. Didn't feel cakey or two thick when applying with the applicator sponge. Definitely loved the feel of it after it seeped into my skin. Didn't sweat off either in this heat.

I received Magic Snow Cushion by Aprilskin free for my honest opinion. This was my first experience using a cushion foundation so I did some reading up on the proper way to use it. I was very pleased. I am still learning with the foundation but so far it is giving me the coverage that I want depending on how much I use. It is the perfect shade for me. It covers all of my red face areas. I can't describe the finish as matte or dewey. I would say it finishes very naturally. I don't know if I will ever go back to using regular foundation again now that I've experienced a cushion foundation! First pic is before foundation.
