Review of Atopalm Real Barrier Extreme Cream. I was really excited when @0.8l_usa had this cream on offer for $3.99, and it was a total surprise that it also came with a bunch of samples! I think this cream is a real gem and possibly the best product I’ve discovered through 0.8L to date! 😍 . 🔬Multi-Lamellar Emulsion (MLE) is Atopalm’s patented technology that has been proven to provide long-lasting moisture in independent clinical studies. Under the microscope our skin’s lipids form a cross-like structure and MLE technology mimics this structure through pseudoceramide PC-9S. Independent clinical trials showed that patients who applies MLE cream reported a decrease in symptoms of atopic dermatitis compared to other creams. Indicating that mimicking the cross-like structures present in our stratum corneum provides better recovery of damaged skin than ceramides alone. 🔬 . The cream is of a very thick consistency and smells faintly medicinal (in a pleasant herbal way). A little goes a long way and I have been using this as the last step in my night routine for about 2 weeks. It does take some time to fully absorb, but I think that is mostly due to the heat and humidity of summer. I find that it’s surprisingly not too heavy/greasy even for summer use, but could see my skin loving it even more during the wintertime. This is the first cream that I’ve ever used where I wake up the next morning with my skin just as moisturized as the night before. . I’ve been blowing my nose quite frequently in the last week due to seasonal allergies and this cream has really helped in providing moisture to those dry areas around my nose! First of all, the samples are a big bonus and I'll be sure to try them later! As for the product itself, it has a slight herbal scent and has a thick consistency. In my opinion it therefore better for winter use or if you have a dry skin type. My face is very dry after I shower, so I used this and it worked better than any other moisturizer I have used! It doesn't cause my face to be greasy/oily and is absorbed by the skin really well. The moisture really sinks in!

I've been using this cream at night for a little less than a week and I'm in love! This past Saturday, I got a microderm and my skin was so much more sensitive this time around. After my first one (that was by a much rougher esthetician), my skin was sensitive but bounced back quickly. This time around, everything (even my trusty cosrx snail essence) made my skin burn and tingle. No idea why as the esthetician was so gently this time around. I was so desperate that I decided to test this cream before patch testing because it promised to help with skin barrier repair. Surprisingly, this was the only thing that made the burning stop! I slathered on a nice thick layer to help heal my skin and it sinks in pretty well! The texture is like a firm butter that melts wonderfully. I would definitely recommend this. I works well on my combination and acne prone skin.

I tried the Atopalm Real Barrier extreme cream and this is hands down my favorite cream. It goes along with my other favorite that I use constantly. Atopalm cream Real Barrier extreme cream is very rich cream for serious skin care. It has long-lasting moisture benefits for damaged skin barrier. It says that it gives 48-hr of hydrating the skin. I believe this is true since I been using this since it came home in the mail. It's very rich cream and came out the jar almost solidified and spread easily like butter. I found it to absorb very well into my skin. I have been using retin-A and if anyone has used it before knows there are a lot of peeling. I found this Atopalm extreme cream very handy and restore the moisture into my skin. I even use this day/ night and even under my makeup. I find that it works very well with my skin. I think other people with severe dry sensitive skin would love this since it just repairs and brings a lot of moisture. It has three calming complex blends of panthenol, madecassoside, and allantoin effectively soothes sensitive skin. Also is free of 10 additives that harmful to the skin. I just want to say it does work on oily acne prone skin since that is my skin type and I didn't see any new break out using this. I think the scent is a bit citrus/ plant smell. I didn't find it overpowering to me at all. Overall, I really do recommend this extreme barrier cream for all types of skin because I find it very soothing and very moisturizing.

I decided to try the cream the first night I got it. I used a small spoonful all over my face.  Very easy to spread and my skin drank it right in.  The next morning no more peeling skin 😲. My skin was moisturized, less irritated, and brighter. No exaggeration, I was seriously impressed. I only use this cream when my skin feels irritated or dry due to acid overuse. It happens, lol 🤷‍♀️. The cream is too rich for daily use at least for my skin. However,  it is a lifesaver for my weakened skin barrier. Will continue using and repurchase once I'm done with this one.  I just love it.

I used this cream fresh out of the shower and it definitely soothed my skin and soaked in very well. The consistency of the cream is pretty thick, so I would recommend this as a night/winter cream. It is intended for those with sensitive skin. There was no sticky or greasy feel, I was impressed how quickly it soaked in despite it having such a thick consistency. I was really pleased to received my cream with some extra samples from the brand! The samples were as great as the Real Barrier Extreme Cream. The product consistency is really thick (almost like Nivea cream in the blue jar) but melt on the skin to make it feel so smooth with a long lasting moisturization and no greasy or sticky feeling. The product as no special scent to it and easy apply and store. It says to be for dry and sensitive skin so I asked my sister to try it too (she has very sensitive skin and gets rashes with most products) she gave this product a big thumb up and wants to buy it no matter the retail price (you can find it on their website www.atopalm.com for less than $30 ) i recommend this product even if you don't have sensitive skin it's always good to use product that are not harsh on our skin. ****REVIEW TIME**** I picked up this @atopalmusa Real Barrier Extreme Cream for a steep discounted price of $3.99 from @0.8l_usa in exchange for my honest review. This retails for $42 but is on sale on Atopalm's website for $33.60 right now. This thick, rich cream is meant for sensitive, dry skin and those with a damaged skin barrier. It has a patented MLE formula that they claim mimics the skins barrier function to help it restore itself. It contains allantoin, panthenol and madecassoside as it's star ingredients. My review: I used this every night for 8 days and I can say I've enjoyed it very much. It's a thick cream that disperses into an oily balm texture and thins out over the face nicely. It leaves a slight sheen and takes a bit to absorb,which is why I only used it at night. I have had a hard time adjusting to retinol use and I recently increased my acid use and this has helped minimize dry, flaky patches. My skin feels comfortable and is no longer sensitized (something I was dealing with the whole month of July!). This is a perfect winter cream for all skin types but would be too much for oily types in the summer. I will continue to use this on heavy acid days or when my skin feels sensitive. Atopalm Real Barrier Extreme Cream Review! . I’ve always viewed Atopalm as a brand similar to/en par to Cetaphil. Both brands cater to the needs of sensitive and dry skin. Atopalm began over 20 years ago when founder Dr. Raymond Park was in search of a hypoallergenic formula that was gentle and safe enough to use on his newborn son 👶 who suffered from persistent dermatitis. After creating a successful formula for his son, he spent five more years perfecting the formula and developing the Atopalm brand. .
 I first bought the Atopalm eye serum when I had some dry flakes on my eyelids and then bought the moisture mist 💦 (which I highly recommend) when I suffered from overall dryness and some ezcema. Both of these products were hits, so I was excited to see the Atopalm Real Barrier Extreme Cream on @0.8l_usa. According to Atopalm’s website, the rich cream contains a patented ceramide complex and the MLE® skin barrier formula, which mimics the skin's structure. Hyaluronic acid, ceramide complex and other moisturizing ingredients create a 72-hour moisturizing effect💧. It also contains a firmness-boosting compound improving elasticity. And thanks to madecassoside, a soothing and calming ingredient derived from Centella asiatica 🌱, the cream is perfect for irritated, sensitive, dry skin. The cream itself is super thick making it a bit hard to spread. During the hot summer months ☀️, I prefer a thinner gel-like cream so this was a bit much for me. I’ve had some dry patches/ezcema around my neck so this thick and soothing cream has been perfect. It really does soothe my irritated skin and help it heal 😊. This extreme cream claims to give long-term moisture, to firm the skin & to repair your skin barrier. That's done with ingredients like ceramides, hyaluronic acid, madecassoside & allantoin. It's a heavy product within a larger line. I was excited to try this cream since I have dry skin, even in these warm, more humid months. It's also formulated to be easy on sensitive skin, which I look for! I tested this product for a bit more than a week, only in my PM #skincareroutine The extreme cream definitely earned its "extreme" title! It's very, very heavy & thick. However, it does rib down into a thin, slightly oily layer. This makes me feel like it does a good job absorbing into the skin but also protecting it. There's no discernible scent. I used this at night because even though it does absorb a bit, it didn't absorb fully & would pill if I tried to layer on top of it. So it was my moisturizer & sleeping pack while I used it, and I would use a mist for added hydration. Unfortunately, this was too heavy for my summer skin. I ended up getting a ton of clogged pores & a few small breakouts after daily use. It could be due to either being too heavy for summer, or possibly just a reaction for my picky sensitive skin. I've had issues with other products that are heavy with hyaluronic acid. I know I could start a spreadsheet & cross examine ingredients to figure out why, but friends: I'm superrrr lazy. Anyway, once the weather cools & dries out, I'll try this again as an occlusive sleeping pack. If you're desert dry, it could be a good fit. My hand is still nicely moisturized from taking these photos yesterday!

The Scent: very mild but slightly fragranced...reminds me of an ointment but didn't much bother me . The Texture: thick cream . My Experience: I'm not sure how I feel about this, I have been testing it on a nightly basis but I do wish I had longer period to test them, but oh well my reviews are due...😆 I definitely did not experiment miracles but I does a really good job of instantly reliving dryness. I have tested this during my day time skincare routine but I did leave slight tackiness, didn't absorb well so I have been only incorporating this during my nighttime skincare routine. This cream claims to effectively soothe sensitive skin with the complex blend of panthenol, madecassoside, and allantoin. The product comes in a jar with inner lid and spatula (it also came with samples of other Atopalm products and booklet). It looks very solid and thick, kinda like Nivea cream in that blue tin, but I was surprised that it actually glides easily and melts into your skin without a greasy feeling. I have combination skin, so I will be using this during the cold season, but if you have dry/normal skin - this should be perfect all year round. I used it on my legs because my skin was peeling after I got sunburnt and it worked like a charm. Great product and I can't wait to incorporate it into my cold season skincare routine. The scent is very subtle and dreamy which is a huge surprise because I generally don't care for scented products but the fragrance is so lite. I would recommend for Dry and sensitive skin or those that need to repair a damaged mousture barrier. Oily skin might find this a little too thick but it's not oily or greasy. It does take some time to absorbed but this worked so well at calming, soothing and moisturizing my sensitive, normal anddehydrated skin type. I have been using this product since I got it, about two weeks ago. I use it in the morning before my makeup and at night before I go to bed. It is really thick and doesn't absorb well. It has left my skin feeling greasy and has caused me to breakout. I wouldn't recommend it.
