{REVIEW} Benton Cosmetics Cacao Moist and Mild Cream . . . It's a light weight, almost marshmallow like cream that melts into skin much like a gel cream. . . . It contains cacao extract and cacao seed butter as the first two ingredients, as well as hyalauronic acid, glycerin, madecassoside and beta-glucan. . . . I just adore the feeling of this cream. I've applied it both on hot days and cold days, and it's perfect for both. It's surprisingly really good at keeping my dry skin happy but not to the point where I feel greasy on a hot day. It's has no real scent at all, and it really provides a beautiful glow and bounce to my skin. I can see how this is perfect for all skin types. . . . It claims to be calming , but I really wouldn't say that's it's main selling point. For me it's a reliable, basic moisturizer. No frills but dependable. . . . I'm honestly still testing it out though because I'm concerned it may be giving me closed comedones. It *could * be purging from reintroduction of acids, but I have a very sad feeling it may be the cacao butter in it. If it wasn't for that, I would give this a 5/5. Every now and then I come by a review product that's made for me. I'm discerning and picky; apparently I look for unusual properties and textures to complement my hydrating/healing routines (and like Lady Catherine de Bourgh I have been most seriously displeased). I find it amusing that after seeing marketing for approximately 4,000 watery creams I finally found one ... and it's not even marketed as watery cream! Pros: ➕ Magically, I find this both hydrating and moisturizing. Putting it on is like splashing my face with super water and it has an amazing slip texture. ➕ It dries completely but stays dewy!! ➕ It doesn't appear to mess with other skincare, which I've found happens more often with jelly-type. ➕ It's light enough to use during the day (rare for me and creams but a happy accident I discovered because testing time was reduced when it delivered late) and compatible with moister essences/sunscreens. ➕ Fragrance free all the live long day, ILU Benton. ➕ I look forward to applying it. With so many products competing for our attention, it's important to identify what we enjoy using! Cons: ➖ It seems to pill under cream (but not cushion) makeup. So I guess just use a light touch to not disturb. ⁉️ Not really a con as it has its place and personally I tend to sleep extra moist - I need to follow up with a sleeping pack at night. Benton Cacao Moist and Mild Cream is a lightweight cream with a soft texture. This cream can be used during the day since it's not too thick and not too light that you won't get moisture. The cream leaves the skin feeling soft, moisturized and not sticky. The cream includes cacao extracts that nourish and hydrate the skin and hyaluronic acid keep moisture inside the skin. This is great for dry/tight skin or even oily skin. This will give intense moisture for dryness. The key ingredients in the Benton Cacao Moist and Mild Cream include 63% Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, 10% Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, and Sodium Hyaluronate. I think this cream works well with dry skin that needs extra moisture. It works well too with oily skin but since my skin is being stubborn with taking moisture lately. This helps with my cracked and dry skin. It looks like it will be a thick cream but once spread it goes on like liquid cream. It has a scent mostly of chemicals from the hyaluronic acid. I was kind of expecting a Cacao scent but that's okay. What matters is that it works well. I think it does a great job at moisturizing without being sticky or tacky. I can easily apply makeup over it without waiting for it to absorb since it's really fast absorbing while being hydrated. I give this a 10/10. It finally feels a little like Spring here in NYC and we are out and about today having fun with the kids before they go back to school on Monday. This morning I broke open my second tube of @bentoncosmetic Cacao Moist and Mild Cream which is perfect for S/S weather! I got it during one of the @0.8l_usa Buy Now campaigns and I was so excited! It’s unscented, moisturizing and feels so light. After layering on all my serums I like to layer this cream on and my skin soaks it right in. Perfect for layering on under sunscreen and makeup in the morning since it’s so weightless. I also love that it has a little bit of centella in it for any irritations that need to calm the eff down. 😅 I will def be keeping this on rotation. The only Con is that it comes in such a small tube. I hope they make bigger sizes in the future! I received the Benton Cacao Moist and Mild Cream at a trial fee from 0.8L and Benton in exchange for my honest opinion. Claims via Benton Website: Cacao Moist and Mild Cream is a lightweight moisturizer with soft texture. With Cacao Extracts and Hyaluronic Acid,this cream provides moisture to skin. Various botanical extracts in the cream further help to keep skin smooth. Noteable Ingredients: Theobroma Cacao Extract 63%, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter 10% and Sodium Hyaloronate (Hyaluronic Acid). Cacao (Cocoa) is high in antioxidants, Vitamin C and magnesium. It helps block harmful free radicals and protects the body against many diseases including premature aging. Hyaluronic Acid hydrates and separates the skin, allowing it to retain water and creates a plumping effect. This cream has been dermatologically tested for all skin types including sensitive skin. It is white with a very faint cacao scent to it. It takes about a pea size of product to adequately cover my face and neck area. It is indeed very lightweight and soft as it claims to be. It just melts onto my skin. It doesn't have a tackiness or greasiness about it but I can still feel it on my skin throughout the day. As with most lightweight creams suitable for all skin types this is a bit less hydrating than I need in the winter (or the spring that thinks it is still winter.) This would be perfect for warmer weather when my skin is less dry. I don't have sensitive skin so I have no opinion on those claims. It's not my favorite cream ever but I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a light weight cream. I am about 50/50 on whether I would purchase it in the future.

I also didn’t read the packaging because I thought it would be so heavy and spring is (somewhat) approaching here in NYC. Cacao Moist & Mild Cream is lightweight cream containing cacao extract and hyaluronic acid, both of which draw moisture into the skin keeping it hydrated. Rich botanicals soothe even sensitive skin while providing antioxidants protecting the skin. This cream felt light enough to wear under my makeup in the morning and left my skin feeling plumped and refreshed! Love it!

I can honestly say that I really like this product. It comes in the bottle size that is perfect to store and for travel, especially by air. I took it with me during my last flight in my bag, because i figured it would come in handy during my flight. It sure did! My face was nice and soft and moist the whole time thanks to this product. It doesn't have any scent so it is nice to use, because, I sometimes hate the scent of choice of certain products. It absorbes well, yet still leave my face dewy. This is how I test for product absorbability, i would apply the product on my clean face, wait for a little, then start rubbing my face. If the product absorbs well, there should not any residues (a. k. a rolled up pieces of something) faling off your face.. lol...

This is the Benton Moist and Mild Cream. Let me tell you that this product really caught me off guard. It went against my expectation. The word cream made me think thick and super moisturizing with a tacky feel. However, this appears to be super thick but once you apply it to the skin it instantly turns watery and thin. It applies like it’s a gel moisturizer. It feels really hydrating and absorbs really quickly. It smells lightly of cacao and with a tinge of the signature Benton body odor smell. I really love Hyaluronic Acid and it does wonders for my skin. I can use this during the day or night. It also works very well with makeup. I would repurchase with my own money because it feels nice on the skin. This @bentoncosmetic Cacao Moist and Mild Cream is formulated with Cacao extracts, Hyaluronic Acid, and various botanical extracts to help provide moisture and smoothen out skin texture. 🍃 I applied this product after using serum. This cream applies smoothly onto the skin, however it can get a bit oily and shiny when applied very frequently. To minimize this, I applied this product once a day during my nightly routine. This helped my skin to absorb the product better and enabled my skin to feel moisturized the next day. I am not too fond of its scent but it is tolerable. I also did not notice any irritation and redness after use... 🍃 I never really tried products with cacao as it’s main ingredients so I was very curious with this. I love the packaging, however I wish it is a bit bigger. I love that this cream contains a full 63% cocoa extract. Not only is this star ingredient very nourishing and hydrating, it's also been shown to be good for anti-aging! A great product!

It is extremely soft, and has a light fragrance. It goes on smooth and leaves the skin feeling wonderful. This will definitely be a staple in my routine!

Not as messy as an oil, yet works like one. I use it when I don't have any essence, or when I want to amp up my essence. It smooth n fabulous. There's not a smell I could tell. Which is always a goid thing for skin that dies whatever it wants to. So I give this one a 2 thumbs up for sure. Cause it really makes ur skin soooo soft. U want to keep touching ur face, but u know better not to. So my opinion, it would b a goid buy.
