@0.8l_usa sent me the coolest hair product for on the go fixes to try free! Its the @drjart #drforhair #folligeneasyswabandhairserum which contains a big cotton swab soaked in a fermented apple cider vinegar concoction and a serum to fight frizz. First step - the swab. Easy enough to use. You simply part your dry hair and rub the swab on your scalp, part again and repeat until you have hit every problem area for dryness or dandruff. The swab can be remoistened repeatedly by dipping it back in its packaging. Second step - smooth the serum between your palms and rub them through your hair. My hair is very long and thick so I concentrated on the bottom few inches. I found the swab very soothing. It also seemed to make my hair easier to brush and style later. My scalp felt clean and healthy! The serum did a great job smoothing out my hair. The last two pictures show my hair before and after using the serum - obvious differences. I really like the product and how portable it is. I think it would be perfect for a road trip camping or even to keep in your desk at work for emergency touch ups. I was totally excited to try this Humajor Folligen Easy Swab and Hair Serum until I opened it up and smelled it. ALCOHOL. I confirmed the ingredient on the box. long term use of alcohol in your hair will cause it to break and fall out. Alcohol is not made for hair! It's made for wounds and even using it on wounds can cause excessive drying. Using the swab did help my dandruff, but I won't touch it again. The folligen easy swab is step one and very easy to use. You open the package and pull out the swab which looks like a double extra large q-tip rub on hair line and massage into scalp to help remove dandruff and itching. It is natural cleaning with apple cider vinegar and other natural ingredients. It does have a little bit of a mentholy vinegar smell but it's not overpowering. Step two the folligen serum, that is also natural and non greasy formula. You squeeze the serum on to the plam of your hand. Then distribute on to hair with hands focusing on ends. It is to help clam static and ease frizzy hair. I can this step was not hard but the serum is a cream consistency and didn't really want move just stay right where it was put. It is non greasy as it says but I just wish it was a different texture like an actual serum not a cream texture. The scent was also not strong and smelled very similar to the swab. Would I use again? Yes I would especially the the swab. That worked exactly like it said even though it was a temporary fix. The serum maybe on a day where I straighten my hair.

My hair is usually oily and often frizzy whenever I stay in or out. This product improved and strengthened the qualities of my hair a lot! It was very easy to use, and took only 5 minutes to finish up. The scent was strong at first, but wears off after a few. The stick helps remove dandruff; which I did not much have, so I can't really say much about the effectiveness. Though, it was very convenient and easy to use. The serum promoted strength in my hair. The texture was very light. Very easy to apply, just be gentle. When added, the frizziness quickly fades away! Outcome: It made my hair and scalp clean and bright. It gives off a little shine and wears down the frizziness a BUNCH! It also separated the parts of the thickness in the hair. (Not much impact on the oilness of my hair though). After 1 hour: Remained flat and clean. Still reduced the frizziness, but the shine fades away. Whenever I lay down or go for a run, it still remains intact!

The directions on the package seemed simple, straight forward and easy enough to follow. The directions were to separate along the dotted line, apply easy swab, remove dandruff, massage into scalp along hairlines, then open the second packet and squeeze serum into palm, distribute evenly through hair with palms and fingertips focusing on the end. Oh yeah, and DO NOT RINSE. Sorry, lol, I just thought it was funny how they put that in capital letters like they were screaming out the most important part. When I began step one, swabbing my hair with the giant q-tip, I was a bit unsure of where all I was supposed to use it. Like, was I just supposed to go over my regular hairlines part and then my hairlines around my face? What about the back of my head? So I didn’t really like how unclear that part was. I feel like they could have been a bit more specific. The picture on the box showed a woman rubbing it along a middle part line in he hair where he scalp was exposed. So, what I actually ended up doing was starting on one side of my head and parting my hair in a line going straight towards the back of my head, about a half inch to an inch above my ear and swabbing the line there where my scalp was exposed. Then I would go about a half inch to an inch above that and do the same thing until I had reached my opposite ear. By the time I finished this process the swab seemed to be pretty dry and devoid of product. So rather than trying to get any area along the back of my head, I just stopped there. By this time I was already sort of unimpressed with the product in general. The directions had said to swab and remove the dandruff, so I took that to mean that either the swab would catch the dandruff flakes or they would stick to it or something. This didn’t prove to be a correct assumption on my part. So then I thought that maybe it had meant for me to use the swab and then remove the flakes with my fingers. This didn’t work out well either. As I am sure anyone who has ever had a problem with dandruff before will tell you, the flakes are nearly impossible to pull out with your fingers. You either don’t get all of the pieces or you unearth even more in the process. Or even worse, you pull a was off hair out along with it. Well, I promise you, the crap is even more impossible to get out once the flakes and hair become even a tad bit damp. Moving on to the second step. It took no time at all. I simply tore off the top of the little packet and squeezed the serum out into my palm. I rubbed my hands together a bit and turned my head over to work the product through my hair starting just a little above the middle and working down towards the end. After that I brushed my hair and VIOLA! All done. I expected the serum to make my hair greasy but was pleasantly surprised when it didn’t. I wasn’t really sure how it was supposed to help with dandruff being focused mostly towards the end, but that was a mistake on my part. I had to reread the back of the package. I hadn’t noticed before that it described step two as a non greasy styling serum to help calm static frizzy hair. Now, if that was the goal then it worked great. well, honestly my hair wasn’t very frizzy to begin with. All in all, I have to say that I just was not a fan of this product at all. I didn’t feel like it had helped my dandruff in the least. And my hair certainly didn’t feel clean to me (the box had mentioned helping keep your scalp clean and itch/dandruff free all day long). The styling serum was ok, it at least kind of fufilled it’s purpose. To be perfectly honest though, both steps had a pretty unpleasant smell to them. I really wasn’t crazy at all about the idea of having my hair smell like them. I’m afraid that I really wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. And I definitely wouldn’t spend any of my own money on it. I do want to say though, that I greatly appreciate the opportunity I was given to try this product. I am truly and deeply sorry if my opinion and review offends or upsets anyone. That is in no way my intention. I mean no disrespect at all. I was simply trying to give a completely honest review.

I really enjoyed trying this product! I suffer from dandruff and have tried many brands to keep my scalp from randomly feeling itchy at an point of the day. The Folligen Easy Swab worked incredibly well. It instantly relieved any sings of itchiness that I felt on my scalp which I honestly loved! The Folligen Styling Serum worked very well as well to tame any fly away hairs or frizz that I had. This product really helped me feel more relieved throughout the day, which is something I can't say for other products I've used. I recommend giving this product a try, I know I'm all ready to make a purchase!!

First of all the product has 2 parts, a wet swab which is for dandruff and itchiness and the second one is the serum for frizzy hair. The first step is to apply the Swab, which is like a Q-tip and massage the scalp with it. This has a minty smell which keeps you feeling fresh and clean throughtout the day. After this the second step is to apply the serum which i feel was the best part. It really helped me keep my frizzy hair in place. I have fine, straight hair that is more fly away than frizzy. From time to time, I'll get mild dandruff but I have more of a problem with my scalp being itchy due to allergies. First, I tried the swab and was pleased with how quickly it relieved the itchiness. The smell was slightly medicinal but didn't linger so it wasn't an issue. Next, I used a small amount of the serum. It helped tame the flyaways and had a clean scent. After massaging it in, I combed my hair. It was cleaner, shinier and softer. I plan to tuck these in my bag when I go out. I wouldn't use them in place of regular shampoo but would definitely want them on hand when my hair needs a touch up.

dr.Forhair Folligen Easy Swab and Folligen Styling Serum This 2-step kit is designed for a quick fix to dandruff and itchiness and is designed to make frizzy hair smooth and manageable. It contains a combination of plant extracts and fermented apple cider vinegar. First, the easy swab should be used on the scalp by massaging contained essence from it along hair line. Easy swab comes dripping wet from the pouch, essence has scent on the stronger side but not really unpleasant. I had a very weird feeling after application, nothing major though, kind of tingling rather than stinging. In the other pouch is a Hair Styling Serum that should be squeezed from the pouch and applied throughout hair using palms and fingertips focusing on the ends. Serum has a nice creamy consistency and very nice scent. I think there should be more in the pouch, especially for those with a longer hair. I have been using it on my damp hair and dry as well and found them, especially serum, to have very similar effect. I didn't notice much of the effect on my scalp of the easy swab, I do not have dandruff, so it's very hard to say how good it worked, but I do have an itchy scalp from time to time and it helped with this. As to Hair Styling Serum, it's simply amazing. I had, for the very first time, frizz free hair for a day and a half. I have very dry hair, I would say extremely dry with the frizz in every possible weather so finding a product that will help for longer than a few hours it's not easy. I was pleasantly surprised to how soft and manageable my hair become and with virtually no frizz. All of this without weighing my hair down or making them greasy. Overall, good product, especially Serum, worked great on my type of hair. I wish I could find this serum as a separate product. I have used this product twice now since I received it and I really enjoyed it. It's a two step process that you applied on before you style your hair. The first style is meant for scalp care while the second step is meant to help with styling. The scalp care produce did help make my scalp less itchy and not dry. It's was like a moisturizer for my scalp. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the application process. It has a large cotton swap that you use to applied the product to the scalp. It's easier to pour the product in your hand and then rub it into the scalp. The second part was the styling cream, it help tame my baby hair and make brushing my hair easier. Overall this product is a 4/5

When I applied it on the scalp it felt fresh and pleasant. I felt like I washed my head. The hair quickly absorbed the content and the fragrance disappeared as well. When I applied the serum, the hair felt soft and manageable. I saw No difference in hair frizz. This serum does not tienefragancia, it is very light and absorebe easily. It doesn't feel greasy. I've been trying different shampoos and as a result of some,my hair has been more on the dry,frizzy side. The application is two step. First with swap you apply the product in the dandruff area directly. Don't rinse. They smell like something menthol. Instantly you feel the itchy in your scalp stop. Then you can use the second step. This step is a white styling serum with a little bit of menthol fragrance. You don't feel your hair greasy with this product.
