As someone who loved NIOD Copper Amino Isolate Serum (CAIS) but balked at restocking due to the $90 price tag, of course I had to jump on the opportunity to try #Klairs' let's just say, 'inspired by' product, Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop when #08Liter put it up on their website. Whereas copper tripeptide-1 is what gives CAIS its unique blue tint, Klairs adds guaiazulene, a natural coloring agent derived from chamomile with anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant properties for its blue tint. The other anti-aging and firming ingredients in the Klairs product include EGF (sh-Oligopeptide-1) and bFGF (sh-Polypeptide-1). Texture-wise, it's identical to CAIS, like straight water, delivered via a dropper which can be challenging to use. I tend to work in sections on my face (forehead, cheeks, nose, chin) applying a few drops on each, and patting in quickly with my fingers before moving to the next so as to not waste the product. As far as the results go, after testing for 3 weeks, I'm still not sure I'm seeing any significant difference. Maybe slight skin smoothing but that's me grasping at straws trying to find something positive. I'll finish the bottle but I'm not expecting miracles.

The serum is not hydrating at all, at least not for me so I follow it with a moisturizer or oil. The effects are not immediately noticeable but my skin has been feeling and looking brighter.  I'm still not noticing any change in my wrinkles, however I'm in my 30s so I'm not expecting any overnight change.  I'm using this serum to prevent the development of any wrinkles due to loss of elasticity in my skin.  I really do love this serum and see myself using it for a long time 😍.

I have been using the midnight blue youth activating drops by Klairs for the past 2 weeks and am ready to review the product for you. The essence doesn't have a strong scent, something really light and hard to describe remind me some kind of food maybe??? The product is watery and tricky to apply I used one drop here and there and dab it quickly on my skin before it runs down my face. It absorbs really fast into the skin and feel like naked skin, no hydratation, sticky feeling or whatsoever (exactly like water) I saw some demonstrations videos that suggest to buy a roll applicator to use this product and to make some anti wrinkle patches with the essence on paper band (similar one that we use for waxing) so I did the patches on my smiles lines and eyes area. Got the Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Drops for testing and review with 08L's "Try it Now" option. All opinions are 100% honest and my own. I decided to stop using my other anti-aging products to test how effective this essence is. Used it after double-cleansing and toning, every night for more than a week. It has a blue tint, no noticeable scent, didn't experience any irritation, tingling, or peeling. But sadly, I didn't notice any benefit from it either. It is interesting though how fast this essence disappears on my face. I put a drop each on the skin under my eyes and the sides of my mouth where I have fine lines and within seconds, my skin has completely absorbed the essence! I have been using this product for a bit over a week. The first thing you notice about the Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop is how pretty a shade of blue they are. It is a beautiful deep #bluedrop. It is a watery serum that is super thin. It was instantly absorbed into my skin and left no tackiness or stickiness what so ever. It had no scent that I could smell. It did not burn or sting at all. It actually left my face feeling very soft. This is an #Antiaging serum that is supposed to improve elasticity and replenish collagen to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also says it will combat the signs of aging. I haven't used it long enough to verify these claims but I am pleased based on my use so far. My skin feels better and lines will be less noticeable on softer skin. Im in love with this anti aging serum. Either it's all in my head, but I doubt it Lol my skin is looking so healthy and nourished just after a week of daily use. I use it every night after I cleanse. To be honest I noticed a difference the very next morning. My skin seems to give off a natural glow. The formula is a watery blue, but it absorbs very quickly. It has no scent and feels nice on the skin. The packaging is typical serum bottle but the fact that it's blue makes it special. I love this product and will continue my nightly use.

What a Gorgeous Youth Activating liquid 💧 drop Serum! I received this Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop by "dear klairs" for a discount of only $3.99 from #08L, in exchange for my review and honest opinion. The liquid is definitely blue, and it's more like a water 💦 consistency. I love the dropper, which makes it easier to measure. I usually apply several drops into my hands; (it's highly concentrated), and lightly splash onto my face. I'd recommend doing this over a sink, because some can drop out of your hands while applying. The directions explains to; "Apply a proper amount around affected area in the morning and evening", and I basically started with just a few drops to see how my skin would feel. I love the silkiness it leaves on my skin, even before applying a moisturizer! The idea is to rebuild new cells in the skin and help lessen age spots, as well as fine lines. I love that it's a peptide, and contains Blueberry Extract. I noticed that my face definitely feels moisturized, has a nice luminous glow, and has a smoother texture. I use this Activating liquid drops in place of my usual facial serum, and wait a few minutes before adding a moisturizer. It's definitely worth every penny, and generally costs about $30.
